Confetti was raining down, ponies were cheering and screaming. The new princess was just crowned, everypony was happy...It was a perfect day. Princess Twilight Sparkle was in front of all of these raving ponies, and so were her five best friends. Friends that throughout her stay in ponyville, taught her so many things in the magic of friendship. All their adventures, ups, and downs. They have been though it all, and now they all share the happiness of being with Twilight on her big day. Her crowning. A nudge from her mentor snapped Twilight out of her thoughts. "Say something, Princess." The extremely decked out Alabaster Alicorn said. "Oh!" Twilight clears her throat. She addressed the crowd. "A little while ago, my teacher Princess Celestia sent me to live in ponyville to study friendship, which is something I didn't really care for." She then pointed to her friends and motioned them to come closer. "But now, on a day like today, I can safely say (rhyme, haha!) I wouldn't be standing here today if it weren't for the friendships that I made with all of you." Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy were all tearing up. The emotion that could be felt during this event was almost palpable. "Each one of you taught me something about friendship, and for that, I will always be grateful." She bowed to her friends before returning to address the crowd. "Today, I consider myself the luckiest pony in equestria, thank you friends...thank you everypony!" The crowd cheered and wailed at the emotion from their newly crowned princesses powerful speech. ________________________________________________________________________________ Earth... ******************************************************************************** The sun was flailing wildly, Almost everyone on the doomed planet was watching it, all across the earth, a broadcast could be heard... "My fellow humans...this is it..." Many people were crying, attending churches for the end. There was no looting or crime happening at all. It was all pointless. This event has been known to all humanity for several years, all the crime that would be committed already was, anyone would wanted to commit suicide already did... "...Alright, this is it." A boy said. This boy had mocha brown skin and...he had only one arm. In the center of his chest was a blue circle. He was a tall boy, about 6'3 last time he checked... that might actually be the last time he will ever check. "The sun will unleash a massive flare...so powerful that not only will it destroy all life on our planet...but I think anyone who takes an interest in the sun could have seen this coming years in advance." Suddenly the boys eyes opened, pieces of metal started to float and race towards the space that his missing arm would take up. The parts assembled into a metallic blue arm. The boy looked at it for a couple seconds... his face was like a bad dam, failing on the inside, but solid on the outside. Only showing it's damage to the naked eye when it's too late. Then he began to walk out of the building he occupied. More pieces of metal started to attach on to him. Many men in white lab coats were looking at him while he was walking. Their faces solemn, some tears here and there. A man with a pure white beard that would put santa, and Dr.Light to shame came out of the group of scientists. In his hands was a tray that held a blue syringe. "...You do know what will happen to you if you do this?" A older gentlemen said as he walked towards the boy. The boy nodded. "Once you do this... you can never turn back, are we clear?" The man said. His ripened face starting to show some tears. "Sir, I wouldn't be here if I didn't know what I was getting into." The boy said. His face also failing to hide some of his emotion. The syringe was then given to the boy. "All of humanity rests in you..." The man said. The boy took the syringe... and injected himself. The armor completed he took one last look at the scientist. "My son..." The man went over to the armor clad boy and hugged him, he returned the hug...well much more carefully though. The boy's face was hidden by the metal mask he wore, his face... Was ridden with tears. He blasted into the sky, and he started to hear the broadcast that was played throughout the world. Almost all human life on earth was listening to this broadcast...families were huddled together, people were just sitting there, silent. "I do not come to you as an American... but as a fellow human being...even though we had our differences, our wars... I am proud address you...how ironic it is that at the time of our death's...we achieved world peace?" The sun unleashed its massive energy...the doom of the entire human race...but they were ready. They already got their affairs in order, now they were just waiting for it. "It will only take seven minutes for the flare to reach Earth...We will send a person out to the cosmos...so we can live on..." six minutes... A man shaped object was flying at rapid speeds away from Earth. "We have been working on dimension travel for over a thousand years now... If anyone can see the thing rocketing up to the sky right now...it is the culmination of all our work progress as a species...The Ark Project" Inside the object that was flying away from earth... was a man...no, a boy. Seventeen years of age...Inside the suit... He was crying. Two minutes... "That object in the sky is a seventeen year old boy... in the most advanced and amazing armor known to man... his genius and the worlds funding made it possible for only one suit to be able to breach dimensions..." thirty seconds... "Active the portal." The boy said. silently crying though the whole thing. "...as you wish..." A robotic voice said... A rainbow light in the center of the boys chest started to glow, a beam came out of his chest... and a portal formed... 15... "Well...this is it my friends..." The broadcaster said. 14... "It's been a blast..." 13... The ponies cheer as there newly crowned princess leaves the balcony. This day is perfect, life in equestria is perfect... 12... "...Godspeed, Ark...live long and prosper." 11... All the life on earth was looking up at the sky, not only at the sun... but at the boy in the suit. They were all looking at the human that will continue on their race. They could only feel one emotion... 10... "Twilight! I'm so proud of you!" Said a crying Shining Armor. 9... The boy was almost at the portal... almost. "I will be the only one..." The boys tears started to pick up in volume. 8... "Are you crying?" asked a amused Twilight. 7... "I'm not crying...its liquid pride...completely different" Said Shining 6... All of Twilight's friends congratulated her on her achievement, they all came together in a group hug... 5... "Life in equestria shimmers!" Trumpets sound as the princess exclaims her joy. 4... "Life in equestria shines!" 3... "And I know for absolute certain!" 2... "That everything!" 1... "Yes everything!" 0... "Yes everything is certainly fine!, Is fine!" ________________________________________________________________________________ Equestria ******************************************************************************** "Yes! Everything in equestria is just fi-" Twilight starts as she soars in the air... She is stopped by the sound of the earth shaking... Sounds of electricity start to pierce everyponies eardrums... A orange portal starts to open in the sky... BOOOOOOOOOOOM! "W-w-what!?" Twilight screams. (You just had to jinx it, didn't you Twilight?) An orange flaming ball comes out of the portal, it is heading straight towards the castle, it is so fast that it breaks the sound barrier, causing an enormous sonic rainboom...it looks so beautiful... Celestia feels a great sadness in her heart all of a sudden... she doesn't know why. It crashes just before it hits the castle... It starts skipping on the ground like a flat stone a lake, towards the castle. Ponies are panicking, running out of the trajectory of the...thing... It finally starts to slow down, creating a large trail of dirt while it does so... It lands in the center of the road that Twilight's chariot was just carrying her though... Silence... The dust settles and some...thing starts to stand up in the center of the crater... Some ponies look away from the monstrosity... One of its forelegs starts to fall apart piece by piece. The blue pieces collecting on the floor. The weird blue shiny skin it has is peeled off in some places revealing another layer of bloody brown skin. Its body is convulsing It looks like it's crying...but... somethings wrong... It's crying...the colors of the rainbow. "What... is that?..." Goes though the mind of everypony there in the castle yard. The things looks around again. It struggles to stand. Then it falls to one knee The pieces of the foreleg that fell apart start floating... and they shakily try to reassemble on his body. It trys to stand up one more time, it does so. Suddenly fire comes out of his hindlegs at it is propelled upwards, but the fire sputters, and it loses balance. It crashes to the floor again, but this time, it vomits a mixture of blood and... other colors. Rainbow Dash started to pale when she saw its eyes...the blue shiny skin was peeled off its face... Its eyes were constantly changing color, rainbow colored blood seeped from its eyes. There was a tiny black dot in the center of each eye, they were shaking violently. The thing tries to open it's mouth, but when it does, an enormous amount of rainbow colored goop came out. It made a horrible sounded retching noise, this caused most of the mares, and even some stallions that let curiosity get the better of them and saw the event faint, puke in their mouths, or cry. Twilight has never seen this kind of creature before...but she has read of what is happening to it. The being goes down on the floor and stops moving, Twilight swoops down and carefully helps the (VERY HEAVY) creature to her back. "Medics!" She screams. The doctors that were in the crowd started to run towards the practically doomed being. Also some civilians were coming in just as muscle. Mostly pegasi...for a very good reason, even Rainbow (got there first of course) helped. Even though this creature is foreign, its body unknown to any of the ponies there...no being deserves to endure what it is enduring... something that is very deadly to pegasi due to their work... and ponies in general... Spectra poisoning. Happy alien rainbow blood vomit slip n' slideRainbow colored goop was splattered over the dress that Twilight was wearing, the colors tainting the newly made Alicorns beautiful dress. The rest of her friends were following her. Rainbow Dash, and very surprisingly, Fluttershy were helping Twilight and the doctors haul this strange being to the CCU (Critical Condition Unit). "What ahn tarnation is this thang!?" Applejack exclaimed. She was galloping next to her friends, trying to keep up with them as they raced towards the castle. Many twists and turns in the route Twilight was taking made Applejack proud that she spent all her life bucking apples, training her body to withsta- "*retching noise*" The strange being on Twilicorn's back once again vomited a rainbow of colors, staining the marble floor they were galloping on. Applejack managed to avoid the sludge. But Rarity was slipping and sliding on that vomit like it was oil slick. "Oh, augh! This is simply, horrendous! How, oh HOW am I going to get rainbow vomit out of my coat!" Drama queen mode: activate. "What if this says on forever!? Oh Celestia why!? *sob* It's just not faaair!" She was whining up a storm while running though the gunk. "Rarity, do as all ah favor and hush up! We don't need ya whining with this...thang on twi's back puking up rainbows ahl over tha place!" Applejack scolded Squiggly Tail. The 'thang' as Applejack describes it vomits up another stream of rainbow. Pinkie gets caught in it this time and starts to slide. "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Pinkie says as she slides though the alien barf. One of the ponies following the group gets caught up in the 'fun' and starts sliding on the gak- gunk, the pony started sliding on the gunk. The pony flailed his hooves around, his brown coat ruined by the rainbow upchuck... He tripped and got a mouthful of barf... and it wasn't his own. "Augh! OH, ah SPICY! AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH! MY EYES! MY EYES! MY BIGGER THAN ANY OTHER BODY PART IN MY ANATOMY EYES! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" The pony was helped up by some doctors, and was then sent to the same place the human was going. "SO MUCH RAINBOW!!! ARGH! WHAT DOES IT MEAN!? IT BURNS!!!" The pony screamed. Everypony hearing this made a mental note not to ingest the rainbow vomit, if that wasn't clear already. Pinkie didn't seem to- "AUUUUUURGH!" Yet another blast of rainbow exited the mouth of the alien being, this time poor Applejack wasn't quick enough to escape the stream... Her body is covered in the disgusting substance. Pinkie started laughing. She laughed so hard that she didn't notice her back being covered by the rainbow substance while she had her back on the group...HOW is she still sliding is a mystery to everypony, Applejack couldn't voice her disgust because she didn't want to go all crazy like the other pony did. If Pinkie Pie thought rainbows were spicy...what would SHE think of it. The group was almost in the CCU, almost all the ponies had some sort of rainbow on there body. Except for (oh the irony) Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, who were helping lift the thing to the CCU. Twilight opened the door with her magic, and set the being down on a bed. "Restrain it! It's in too much pain to control its body movements." Twilight ordered. Some guards that came on the bandwagon a while ago complied with her order Celestia and Luna were close behind... Rarity, Pinkie, and Zap Applejack (see what I did there?) were looking in shock at the being... Its mouth was bleeding the rainbow covered gunk profusely. It's body was convulsing violently, the strange forearm of the being was falling to pieces again...but most of all... It's eyes... Constantly changing color, the pupil of his eye was a tiny speck, and was violently moving in all directions... So much pain in those eyes... so much fear... The sounds coming from it were just incoherent mumbling and screams of pain. "What...is happening to the it?" Rarity questioned. Looking on in pity at the poor creature that was in so much pain. Twilight was going to answer, but surprisingly, Rainbow Dash beat her to it. "Third Degree Spectra Poisoning." She somberly said. Applejack was in the showers, being cleaned of the...'blood'...on her body. "Any pegasi worth their salt would know whats happening right now... the constant vomiting of poisoned blood-" "Wait... t-t-the stuff it is vomiting is... blood?" Rarity said, a hoof to her mouth. The horrifying discovery of how serious this situation really is was cemented when the alien vomited another spew contaminated blood. His position on the bed, and its erratic movements caused blood to spew everywhere. The doctors in charge had to force the beings head into a plastic vomit bag. One doctor was patting it on the back, trying to calm it down. The being was crying bloody tears of colorful agony. "It's body is completely overloaded with Spectra. It's so bad that, if the being survives, it's eyes will be in a permanent state of change. The speed of the color change depends on how bad the poisoning originally was, in most cases the color change is slow, and very subtle...I don't think that would be the case with this thing." Everypony, even the doctors who were tending to the suffering being, stared at rainbow in surprise. The athletic, cocky mare was showing a side of herself nopony has ever seen before... all except one. "How... did you know all this?" Twilight asked, at this Rainbow looked down. "I... lost my mother to Spectra poisoning...she was working in the factory when some idiot bumped into her, she landed in a spectra pool..." "Mommy!? Mommy! What's wrong!? Please t-t-talk to me!" The emergency medics in the room had to physically remove her from the bed the little fillies mother was in. Said mare was violently thrashing in her restraints... the poisoning was too far advanced. "She was in the pool for about three minutes... trying to get out, the pony who bumped into her ran away... and was never found..." A stallion that had the same hair and looks as the rainbow haired filly helped the doctors remove her. "There is nothing we can do Dashy... please, let them do their work." The stallion moved the filly out of the emergency room. "When someone did find her in the pits... they put on Spectra suits to get her out...that took about one minute..." Both the rainbow haired filly and stallion were waiting in the lobby for the doctors to come out. The fluffy clouds that made up the seats did nothing to comfort the duo. The sound of doors opening made the ears of the ponies in the lobby perk up, they both looked up to see a doctor, tainted with spectra on her once pure white coat. A tear was in her eye...the doctor looked to the waiting duo... And shook her head. "She was declared dead 3 hours after she was admitted out of the hospital...I was only 7 years old." The funeral was long, and grueling. The deceased wished for her body to be cremated... and set out into the skys of equestria. A spell was put on her ashes so that they would never touch the ground...always flying... Always free. "She wanted to be turned into ashes... and set out into the sky...i'm the one who set her ashes into the winds." A filly was holding a very beautiful urn in her hooves, two intricately etched wings were constantly going around the urn, they never ended. A 7 year old Rainbow Dash let the top go... and the ashes went into the sky, off into the sunset. "Goodbye..." "The only thing the factory did was 'apologize' for the tragic accident... and change the 'Days without accident' board from five years... to 0" Everypony stood in silence, tears in there eyes as Dash's story sunk- *eeeeeeeeeeeannnnnnnnNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN* A strange humming sound was heard by everypony, the source of the sound... was the strange being who's condition instigated Rainbow Dash's story. It's weird foreleg was fully rebuilt onto it's body and end of the foreleg... morphed into some sort of sleek tube, with a red orb inside the blue cylinder. The being was still thrashing, so it probably didn't know what it was doing. It's arm glowed an ominous purple... Twilight started to feel a strange energy emanating from the- *BLOOOOAAAW!* A blue blast of energy erupted from the flailing beings forearm. It's angle, made the blast fly towards a window... The blast pierce though the wall the unfortunate window resided on. A very large hole was left in the wall. The blast kept on going for a very long time before it dissipated. *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn* The appendage was still flashing purple, another shot could come out any second. "Get down!" A guard sai- *EEEEEAAAAOOOOW!* Another shot, bigger than the last one, with many other smaller shots orbiting it, came out and went towards a purple barrier Twilight quick-spawned. Being an Alicorn wasn't just a physical augmentation. The blast was extremely powerful, when the blast impacted, the barrier was barely hanging on. That was Twilight's strongest barrier, and the creature almost accidentally sent her and her friends to the glue factory in the sky. The arm fell to pieces again and its parts were scattered all over the room. "We have to calm it down! It is not in control of it's actions!" A new voice said. It was powerful and commanding, yet gentle and calming. It was Princess Celestia, accompanied by her sister Luna. The doctors and guards didn't miss a beat. They had to restrain this thing before it harmed anypony. "That won't be necessary, Princess Celestia." Another new voice said. Everypony tried to find the source of the voice, but were drawing up nothing. "Ark nanobots have adapted to the new environment, but basic DNA catalyst is still needed for foreign substance in body, Activate?" Another voice said. This one was strangely monotone, but sounded alive as well. "Not yet, we need that DNA...administer pain relievers." A blue light appeared from the chest of the being, who was now still... A transparent figure slowly was made into being... it was made of blue energy... It had a long white beard the radiated wisdom. A very aged looking being, wearing a pure white coat, it's mane was as white as its beard, and just as voluminous. His voice was laced with years of wisdom and experience, rivaling that of Princess Celestia. "Hello." The being said. Everypony was shocked to see this being hear in front of them...come out of the other ones CHEST no less. But the being radiated a calming aura. Nopony panicked when they saw this creature. Celestia addressed the floating being. "What are you? And how did you know my name?" She questioned. "My name is Animus Light, what you see before you...was a human. A race of intelligent beings not of your dimension." He looked onto the fallen human, who was also looking at the hologram... He uttered his first words, but still some tainted blood dribbled from his mouth. "F-f-f...fat-t-ther?" The boy said. The hologram looked down onto his son, and smiled. "Yes, Ark...i'm sorry, but I am just a hologram with the personality and information of him...the truth is he is dead..." The boy nodded... "I know..." He choked out. His eyes did not change in the slightest, they were still flashing. "I can understand if there is any confusion right now but I will explain in due time... all you have to due is ask the right questions... but before that." The being looked at Rainbow Dash. "This boy, Ark, needs your assistance...the only way he can be truly cured of this, is for one of you to touch the center of his chest...please" Everypony looked at the boy. He looked back, barely, his head was twitching and his eyes were constantly darting in random directions... "I'll do it." Rainbow Dash said with no hesitation in her voice as she trotted up the the poisoned human. "Ma'am I don't thi-" One of the guards started to say. But he hushed up when Rainbow looked at him. "I let already saw one pony die from Spectra poisoning, the death is slow, agonizing, and painful. I WILL NOT let another po-...whatever this guy is called to die like that, knowing I can save him." She narrowed her eyes and looked at the guard. "You got that, bub?" The guard nodded. Once that was over she went back to the human boy in pain. A little filly was crying, holding the urn that contained her mothers remains...she couldn't do anything to her... She felt so helpless... "Don't worry dude, I got cha" She said. Dash lifted her hoof and raised it to his chest, were the hologram was emanating from. "...T-t-thank you..." The poisoned boy said. Rainbow stopped her hoof and looked at the boys face. For the first time, it- no, he was smiling. Its eyes still had a lot of pain on them, but much less the the crazy spasms that were racking his body. "No problem...call me Dash." She said. Her trademark smirk was etched in her face. She put her hoof on the circle on his chest... It turned yellow and started to hum. "DNA ACQUIRED. BEGIN ADAPTATION?" A robotic voice said. "Yes, begin the process, estimated time to completion?" "Ten minutes, due to the complexity of the program used in the A.E program, recommended steps are to: give the Ark vessel at least a 5 feet radius of space Animus hologram should detach from Ark vessels lifeline. Avert eyes 9 minutes into Finalization process. The brightness may cause sight damage if exposed for too long." A small metal square detached from the supposed lifeline of the human and the hologram moved with it. Everypony gave the human some space so that the process could start. "Metamorphosis field...begin" The human began floating in the air and cyan strips of energy began forming around the human, but it was just one small strip. the pieces of the arm started to float towards the human, once they reached their target, they started to orbit. "10 minutes." The Animus hologram turned to the group of ponies. Everypony was staring at him. He decided to brake the ice. "Well, ask away, I was programmed to answer any questions that would surface at this point. I will disappear after the ten minutes are up, so use these questions wisely" Pinkie blurted out a question before anypony could think of one. "What are heoman!? Do they like parties!? Cupcakes!? What do they smell like!? Wax!? Yogurt!? Do-" Her barrage of questions were stopped by a hoof to the mouth, Ala Rarity. "Darling, please slow down, we need to ask him the right questions." Rarity said. She cleared her throat and asked the question that was on everyponies mind. "How did you know our rulers name?" The hologram stood there for a second (floated, pardon) and quickly answered her question. "On our planet there was a very popular show named 'My little pony: Friendship is Magic' created by Lauren Faust. It portrayed the adventure of the six ponies Applejack, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash and many others. From the point where the Element of Magic, Twilight Sparkle, first went into ponyville to her coronation as the new princess of Equestria." "Our lives...are entertainment to your kind?" Twilight said, shocked. "The show only showed the adventures of you and your friends, Twilight Sparkle. Not anything explicit, or...morally compromising." The room was silent, Twilight had so many questions, but she knew that time was of the essence. So she asked question that was bugging her since the being started talking. "Why do you say anything relating to your race in past tense?" The hologram looked down for a second, a look of sadness in his fake features. "I knew that question would come up sooner or later...." The hologram sighed. "Is there anyway too look outside?" Pinkie pointed to the...*ahem*...'addition' to the window. (X buster renovators, 100% free!) "Is that good?" She asked with a chreeful pep in her voice. "5 minutes" They went to the window and saw something... breathtaking. The orange sonic rainboom the human created was still dissipating, it was huge. Expanding and twisting in an array of colors and shapes. "That energy...feels familiar" Celestia said. "The energy... is the discharge of our planets sun" "What, discharge? What happened, did your sun get gas or something?" Pinkie said (bad puns galore) "...Our Sun... released an extreme amount of energy the headed straight for our planet...so powerful that the energy needed could have been sensed decades before the eventual release." The ponies were shocked to hear that, but Celestia took it the hardest. She herself was the incarnation of the sun...and if this happened...she didn't want to accepted it. "Our race was extremely adept in technology, having no magic. We had to rely on our creativity to survive... and so we made...him." He pointed to the human floating in the room. Many strips of energy were floating around him, you could barely see him. "W-w-why did you 'make' him thought" Twilight said. Fearing the answer. ... ... ... "The sun's massive discharge of energy would lead to the... complete destruction of the entire human race... six billion lives destroyed, and our planet... incinerated by the blast... we knew this was going to happen, we told our people. They revolted and in time they grew to accept their fate." The ponies were crying at this point, Pinkie had her mane completely straight, and a solemn silence made it's presence known in the room. ` "He...my creators son..." A graying old man was working under a microscope...tiny little robots were swimming in the flat disk that was under the expert eye of the doctor. "Was chosen to be modified into the perfect human being..." "Daddy!" A little boy screamed when he ran into the lab that the old man was working in. The man turned around just in time to catch the boy in a hug. "Why are you so excited? Hmmm... let me guess-" The boy interrupted the man by shoving a SNES game in his fice. It read 'Megaman X'. "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I'VE ALWAYS WANTED IT, THANK YOU!" the boy hugged the life out of his father. "Easy boy...these bones aren't what they used to be." The old man chuckled. "He was chosen because of his genius, he excelled at everything he did, but he always kept a cheeriful, happy side to all he did..." Blood was all over a boys sheets as he was being carried into a hospital room. His arm had been the victim of a freak car accident. The doctors did their best to save him. He made it out alive, but his left dominate arm was lost in the crash. He was only 14. The boy looked at the old SNES game his father gave to him when he was little. He kept the game on his person at all times, a quirk of his... He looked at the X's Buster for a good two minutes... the gears of his head turning. "The governments of our world banded together and, with the help of the most renowned scientist in history Animus Light... made the armor that adorns him..." *BLAAAOW!* The sound of a X buster going off echoed in the firing range, the lucky three inch steel target that was the victim of the blast was blown to smithereens. "AWW YEAH!" A boy screamed. "And a...serum that made the person who ingested it immortal...that was the only way to insure the survival of the human race...he volunteered..." The Earth was washed over with the anger of the sun. The oceans boiled, the crust peeled. The people swept away in the solar winds... From dust they were made...and to dust they shall return. "To be the last human in existence... to breach dimensions and carry on the memory of the human race...for eternity." A bright light shined in the room. The ponies looked away from it, and as it grew brighter, the being of light that informed them of the fate of humanity started to fade... "We chose this world because of the friendly, peaceful nature of you ponies..even though I am not his father... please...help him fulfill his mission." The mares were heartbroken at the sad tale of the human race, but they all asked the same question. "W-w-what would that be..." They sadly said in unison. The bright cyan ball of energy that housed the last hope of humanity started to hum.The energy swirling around him faster, and faster. Then the ball became brighter, so bright in fact that you couldn't close your eyes and face the light. The energy started to form into a shape. it started to float farther into the- The castle started to shake violently, glass was being heard shattering in the distance. The shaped started to grow... Wings! The wings spread themselves out, the immense energy that was created by the transformation rocking the castles foundations... The humming started to get louder... And louder... And louder! The being humming almost became deafening. The being curled itself into a ball, and the most ear popping sound occurred. *PEEEEEEEEEEOW!* The energy was flung out everywhere, and the human fell to the floor, landing on his two feet, he wobbled a little but stood his ground. "Ohhh...woah." He shook his head a little bit and looked at the group of ponies, who were staring it him with shock. Or more specifically, the area around him. He looked back, and was extremely surprised to find...wings. Wings... WINGS... "..." He was silent. Then he flipped out. A state that can only be activated activated post-rainboom. Increases Ark vessels speed, resilience, and reflexes 10 fold for a short amount of time." "Thats... SO AWESOME!" Then... *Squee* His voice was almost identical to Rainbows at that point...and that sound effect just happened. He realiezed what just happened, cleared his throat, and looked the other way. The room was silent... "Awkward..." Pinkie said out of nowhere. Giggling slightly. "...Thanks for saving me, by the way." The boy said to Dash. She waved it off. "No problem dude, just comes with being awesome." She said. The boy extended his wings and looked at them for a second. "Wow...same color too." He marveled at his new appendages. Rainbow was looking at them to. "Gotta say...you got a nice wingspan." The boy hears Dash say. Her tone makes him sort of nervous. "Ummm...thanks?" The boy says. He sits down on the bed that was restraining him, he takes a look at the hole in the wall he made when he was poisoned. "I'm really sorry if I hurt anyone...pony." He looked at his (now also cyan) buster arm. It disassembled in mid air, every piece that could be put together was disassembled. He looked at the inner workings of the arm for a couple seconds, then it reassembled back into an arm. He looks at all of the ponies, there faces shocked and looking at his arm. He smirked. "Whats the matter, shocked because I'm so awe-." He puts his hand over his mouth. His voice again sounded exactly like Rainbow Dash's voice "It happened again...darn it." Some giggles here and their eased his embarrassment a little. He walked back to the hole and- The sonic rainboom of the portal he came though was visible to him. Like a heart attack, all the memories of the past came slamming back into him. He put his head down, and went back to the bed. "Do you know?..." He asked, without looking at the group. The clip clopping of hooves could be heard coming closer to him. He put his head up, only to be gripped in the fierce hug of a butter yellow blob. "You poor thing...you lost everything...I-i-..." Fluttershy couldn't contain her sadness, and she started crying. He hugged back. This led to everypony, even the two monarchs of the land, to join in a group hug... To comfort the last human in existence. "Darling, I can't even begin to understand the pain your going though..." Rarity said, with her own dramatic flair. "Even though you're not from our world...we consider you a friend" Twilight said. "It's not fun to be all mopey dopey! I know what will fix that!" Pinkie exclaimed. The boy was in tears, but he dealt with the pain, crying silently as the hug lasted for about 30 minutes. His world was gone... His life never-ending... But he would go on... She says as she gets closer to the being. The winged being does also... "Yes, your Majesty." He says silently under his breath. They share a deep, sensual kiss under the sunse- A tiny white filly, with a pink mane and tail is walking in the royal garden, she was holding a bucket of water in a magical aura that emanated from the horn on her head. A mysterious winged creature with its gigantic wings open, sitting and absorbing the sunlight did not know what the mischievous little filly had in store for the being. The creature takes a deep breath, and sighs. "Man, this sun is just- DEAUUUUA! COLD COLD COLD!" The being is soaked in a mess of strikingly cold water. When the being turned around to see his assailant. He caught a slight poof of pink fur moving behind the bushes. "Get back here!" the winged mystery ran towards the poof, only to see a bright light and then feel two soft white stumps cover his eyes. The being hears giggling. "Gotcha!" The filly on top of the creature said, her little hooves wrapped around the winged creature's neck. "Very funny Tia, but now...payback!" The creature used his mighty cyan wings to gently tickle the filly on her back. "Eeeeep! S-s-staaHAHAHAH!" the little filly was no match for the mighty being wings, the creature took this chance to grab the filly and put her on the ground, still tickling her with his wings, and the brown foreleg he had, he didn't use the shiny cyan one. "Give up?" asked the being. "Ye-ye-YES! Hahaha, stahp!" She screamed out. He obliged and stopped tickling her. "Huzzah! I have defeated the mighty Celestia!" the mystery being laughs. The filly laughs and stands up, and pulls out another hidden bucket filled with water- A being cuts though the air at a great velocity, his blue arm turned into a cylinder. The arm was glowing an angry purple, he was flying towards a jumbled up assortment of creatures. It was laughing maniacally. "DISCOOORD!" The angry creature shoots a mighty blast from it's- A being holds Celestia as she is crying. One of the mystery creature's wings was bloody and the armor that the enigma was wearing was beaten, dented, and had black scorch marks on it. "This was the only thing we could do Tia." The injured creature says. "I know my love...but why does it hurt so much?" A crying also injured Celestia disparately asks the being. He brings her in closer, and she gladly accepts the love. "Because sometimes the right decision...is the one we most want to avoid..." The being says, as if he himself learned this valuable lesson a long time ago... Six jewels are on the ground around them, dull and lacking in luster. He's been asleep for quite some time though. The fact that he also had Celestia in his clutches was hilarious. Still disoriented by that strange dream he had. "What is this?" He thinks. He hears snickering in the background, and he feels something wiggling in his grip as he goes further down with his hands. She got a gut full of dynamite... He feels something big and soft take up both his hands... And a booty like... He gives the foreign objects a good squeeze. POW! "AHHH!" Celestia gasps as her flank is fondled by the human. The feeling of her gasping on his torso makes him let go and gives her time to escape his perverted grasp. "Wha-what? What just-" Rainbow Dash interrupted his confused babble. "You just felt up Princess Celestia!" Said screamed. "WHAT!?" He looks at Celestia, who was looking at him in shock, everypony was looking at him like that actually. He looks at his hands and then to Celestia again. "Did just squeeze your...I am so sorry, I-I-I-didn't mean to do t-t-that I-." Celestia raised a hoof to stop him. She still had a very pink muzzle but she spoke in a calm manner. "It wasn't your fault, you were just waking up and disoriented. This was just an accident..." She said. Luna was doing her best to withhold her laughter, and decided to tease the confused human. "How did it feel to grope the royal cheeks?" Luna questioned. His response was extremely unexpected. "Hey, I ain't complaining, They felt really ni-" He used the same hands he used to grope Celestia's bodacious booty to shut his mouth ...because his voice sounded AGAIN like Rainbow Dash's. He then pointed to said pony. "Curse you and your personality traits!" He screamed, then he continued to point at her...over and over. The room got silent again... "What's your name?" The boy took a second to get the red out of his face before answering. "Well, the name is Ark. Pleasure to meet you all." Twilight raised her hoof, again. "Yes?" Ark said. Chuckling a little bit. "The human...uhhh" "Hologram." Ark said. "Right, the human hologram said our world was a show on your planet, do you already know our names?" She asked. "Why yes, yes I do know your names" He said. He grew a small smirk on his face before talking again. He pointed to Rainbow Dash: "Rainbow" He pointed to Twilight Sparkle: "Purple Smart" He pointed to Rarity: "Squiggly Tail" He pointed to Applejack: "Appleblonde" He pointed to Pinkie Pie: "Pink Pie" At lastly he pointed to Fluttershy: "And...what was your name again...oh, Buttershy, right?" Everypony looked at him in extreme confusion. Ark started to tear up. "*snicker*...*snicker*... BWAAAAHAHAHAHA!" He fell off the bed and continued to laugh. His voice sounded exactly like Rainbow's again, but this time he didn't notice it. "You should have seen the looks on your faces! HAHA! Oh God! Haaa, that's funny right there!" He stood up and clutched his gut, his wings were out completely, he noticed this, and tucked them in. "I'm joking, I know your names..." His voice was back to normal. This time Celestia had a question. "Is it true you are immortal?" Celestia asked. She got the red out of her face also. He froze at that question. His happy and joking demeanor changed... he looked down. "Yes." "Are...you serious?" A boy asked the long table full of decorated military men. They nodded. The man who sat in the 'Egypt' mark section stood up. "This is not another 2012 'prophecy'... this is real, and we must preserve the will of humanity, so we biologically engineered a perfect human..." "They knew the sun was going to destroy us...so they artificially birthed one human..." The boy slammed his fists into the wooden counter, his face was wet with tears. "You're saying that I'M this lab experiment you made! You're saying that I don't even have a biological father!..." He looked at his father and say just one sentence. "Do you really love me, or am I just an experiment to you?" "All my gifts, my intelligence, my physical being itself...came out of a tube." The old man shed a tear. The boy said, completely confused. "I know it sounds extreme... but we only have the resources to make one batch of nanobots, and even those take about ten years to make...we only have one year left." The American General explained. "Also, to give the suit that you made the ability to breach the dimensional wall will take up the rest of the time we have..." "Coming here was not an accident." *Knock* *Knock* "Hmmm...who could that be?" A young woman said as she went away from her sofa to answer. Two men in black suits were waiting for her. Ark asked "Affirmative" Said the A.I "Cool, but before that..." The metal covering his body was flown off of his body and put into a ball that started floating above him. He had no shirt on (ripped off) and had worn out Cargo shorts and sneakers. For some reason he didn't feel embarrassed about having no shirt on. He looked at Twilight, who was most...affected by what he did. "Some other time." He said. Twilights ears drooped. "Awww..." She said in disappointment.. And so Ark, the mane 6, and the two rulers left the hospital room. Celestia and Luna left the group, something about royal duties... Without anypony noticing, Celestia looked at Arks retreating form, her gaze becoming more... She shook her head and berated herself. "You are in control Celestia, don't let that incident let THAT side of you come out." She thought and when towards her duties. She felt a very ominous feeling in the back of her mind...something is going to happen...soon. Ark felt a cold shiver down his spine, but it left just as soon as it came. Before they left the group, they had to make sure that the guards or anypony else would overreact to the alien being in the castle. So they gave them hand...hoof written permission to use the royal gardens for their flight training, the ponies who were attending Twilight's coronation were sent home. The guards reaction to Ark was priceless. Twilight gave the note to the guards, they just stared wide-eyed at the human WITH WINGS while the group was going towards the garden. "At ease, gentlecolts." Ark said and gave them a salute. When he walked away he started laughing. "Always wanted to do that." He thought. One of the guards was looking at him funny... They reached the park. "Okay then...what do we do now?" Ark asks. Pinkie jumped on the opportunity. "Party!" Pinkie screams. She takes out her party cannon from GOD KNOWS WHERE and shoots it. Three seconds later there are tables, streamers, cake, anything that's party related, its there. Nopony questioned it. Ark didn't question it either, something in the back of his head said that was normal, he went with it. "Alright then, let's practice with your wings Ark." Rainbow says. She goes over to Twilight and whispers in her ear. She nods. Her horn glows a bright purple and several clouds start to spawn in the air. "Clear all these clouds, and then you get cake." Rainbow says. A smug smirk appears on her face. "Or is that to much to ask from a newbie?" She challenges... Something clicked in Arks mind. "Oh hell to the no you did not just sass me." He says in his mind. He walked up to her. "Excuse me? You won't be smirking when I blow these clouds away." Ark gets into her face...his voice was a perfect mesh betwwen his, and Rainbow's. "I bet I could do this in TEN.SECONDS.FLAT." He looks at Twilight. "In fact, I bet I could do it with DOUBLE the clouds in the sky, AND without using my buster!" He points to her. His ever-changing eyes mystifying her. "Twilight, if you will." He asks. She nods and doubles the output of clouds in the sky. "Perfect" He says. He spread out his wings... He was bombarded with knowledge. Patterns, tricks, you name it, he knew at that exact moment. He smirked and looked back, the ponies were looking at his amazing wings. He winked and took off in the air... "Time to get to work! Lets..." Youtube Video 30 CLOUD CHALLENGE! Ready... "GO!" 10. He flew to the closest cloud and just barreled though it. The cloud dissipated and with three flaps of his giant wings, he created a tornado that took 3 clouds with it. 26 left... 9. He spun around and blasted towards another cloud. It was sliced in two by his mighty wings, and another one shared the same fate. He pierced though one cloud with a drill like move by spinning his body and spun to roundhouse kick another one into oblivion. He span in place and attracted two more clouds to their doom with the winds he was making. 20 left... 8. He zipped around back and forth quickly ending the lives of three artificial clouds. Then he dive-bombed another cloud. He then spun around again, even though there wasn't any clouds around. 16 left... 7. All the remaining clouds began to come closer together, not by much. This gave him the advantage that he needed. 6. He started to cut though the remaining clouds very easily because of their closer proximity. Two fell when they met his mighty wings. Another one fell when he spun sonic style and barreled though them. 13 left. 5. He punched one cloud in its 'face' and it dissipated. He took that time to scream out. "YOU HAVING FUN YET!? CAUSE I AM!" He screamed. 12 left... 4. He somehow windmilled in mid air, causing winds to be stirred and two clouds met their end. He spun and blasted towards two clouds that were lined up perfectly. He span around and kicked one, and perfectly used his forward momentum to deliver another kick with his other leg. 8 left. 3. He started flying in a circle, a massive tornado started to form. Then all of a sudden a circle of wind blasted from the tornado, taking out four clouds that ventured in too close. 4 left. 2. Another circle of wind came out of the tornado, and eviscerated three unlucky clouds. 1 left. 1. He stopped spinning and blasted up in the air, when he was really high, he set his sights on the last cloud, he went down and started to pick up speed... Faster... Faster... Faster... BOOOOOOOOOM! He breaks the sound barrier and runs though the cloud, the sonic rainboom was amazing. Almost everypony in Canterlot can see it. 0. He lands on the ground and cracks the floor under him. He smirks, breaths on his fist, and polishes it on his bare chest. Having a smug grin that was usually saved for either Rainbow Dash, or Applejack on some occasion. "Ten. Seconds. Flat." He said. His voice still had a Dash of Rainbows voice still in there. "Ah gotta say Ark, that was mighty impressive." Applejack says. Walking up to him and slapping him on the back. "Ow..." Ark says in his mind. But he sucked it up like a man. "Wow! Darling that was superb! Good show!" Rarity said. Clapping her hooves like a ma'am. "WOOO! THAT WAS AMAZING!" Fluttershy screamed. Jumping up and down. Much like she did when Dash did the sonic rainboom. Everypony looked at her in shock, she instantly went back to her timid nature. "If you don't mind me saying that is..." She quietly said. "That was very impressive Ark. I cannot wait to study those amazing wings of yours." Twilight says. The raw curiosity she had made Ark worry a little. The stars in her eyes seriously rustled his jimmies, not in the good way. He can just imagine himself strapped to a table being poked and prodded by some weird tool of hers . He ignored it though. Rainbow was still looking at the rainboom the Ark just created... The things he did would be impossible for both her skills and her anatomy. What hurt most was the fact that he got all these skills in a couple seconds, whereas she had to work and train her entire life to get to the level she is now. Ark went up to her and touched her shoulder, she looked up, about to smack the hand away, until he spoke. "Just remember that I got all my skills from you, Dash, you're still the best in my book." He said with his normal voice. She flew up to his shoulder. "And don't you forget it." She said. She gave him a friendly jab in the shoulder. "Nice job out there, could really use a..." Rainbow started. "Guy." Ark said. "Right, a guy like you back in ponyville to help with the clouds." She said. Applejack smirked. "Why? So you could laze around more while he does your job?" Applejack said with a smirk. "Hey! I don't laze around that much AJ, I do my job, I just have a lot of time afterwards cause I finish so quick." She said proudly. Applejack was not impressed. She looked at Applejack with a narrow gaze. "Can I say the same about you?" She shot back. Applejack made a 'phhss' sound. "Kicking clouds all day? Shoot, come tah mah farm and buck apples for one day. Ahm mighty sure you wont last an hour." Applejack challenged. "Wanna bet?" Rainbow said. "How much?" Applejack replied. "If I-" Rainbow was interrupted by an loud piercing sound. It was coming from Ark's chest. "Sir, detecting major anomaly in the space we entered equestria from." "What!" Ark said. "Is that bad?" Said a confused Pinkie Pie. The A.I answered her question. "Yes, it is bad. It is a rupture in the fabric of this dimensions walls. If the rupture is left unattended, the extreme radiation that destroyed our world...with come into yours." "Wait, this is energy from a star, wouldn't Celestia be able to handle this?" Said a wise Twilight. The A.I became the barer of bad news. "...Being known as Celestia will not be able to stop the radiation, because of the difference in solar bodies, and wavelengths of the energy...the time needed to sync with the earths sun would be too long." "Then...what will happen if these walls brake?" Asked a very frightened Fluttershy. "...This world will share the same fate as earth. Estimated time for total annihilation of the inhabitants of this planet...three days. Estimated time before total wall rupture...three minutes." The festive air of this gathering was snuffed out immediately. Total silence... "Is...there anyway to stop this?" Ark broke the melancholic haze. "...The only way to stop this... is to shoot a portal beam into the anomaly from inside it... there is no guarantee that the Ark vessel will be in equestria, earth, or even the same time period...or that the Ark vessel will survive..." After a moment of silence, Ark spread out his wings, and before he went flying into the air, we was surrounded in a hug by the mane 6... They said no words...but they didn't have to...actions speak louder then words.... And these actions spoke pretty loudly. Even though they only knew him for less then a day...they considered him a friend... They expressed emotion so great for an alien in every sense of the word. They detached from him and he was met with crying eyes, this only strengthened his resolve to do what he was about to do. He spread his beautiful wings, and before he ventured into what might be his final act... In the memory of a great Arnold Schwarzenegger. "I'll be back." Ark said before blasting towards the orange cluster of death. Just after he flew away, Celestia teleported to the group of saddened mares. "Where is..." She started, but stopped when she looked and the tear filled faces of the mares. She looked up towards the retreating form, and watched him go towards the very thing that killed his species. "...Good luck, my friend..." She said. Little did she know he was going to become more then just a friend. The wind blew in his face, as he barreled towards the cluster of death that was about to claim another world. "Not on my watch." He said as he neared the anomaly. "Portal Beam...activate..." The circle in his chest began to glow, and a white beam blasted out of the orb that was following him this whole time... the cluster started to shake and condense.... He felt the space around him shake. He started to feel like he was being stretched out... A bright light was awaiting him and soon took up his vision... Then...darkness. The bright cluster started to grow smaller and smaller. A mini earthquake started to happen, as everypony in equestria started to feel the ground shake. The smaller the anomaly got, the more the ground would shake. It got stronger... And stronger... And stronger still. Until it just stopped, and the cluster disappeared out of existence... He threw the chip on the ground and stomped on it furiously. "YOU TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY YOU FILTHY LIAR!" He screamed while stomping on the remains of A.I. MIND IN CRITICAL CONDITION! A.I was literally the only thing keeping him sane, he blocked the extreme surge of emotions that came with him losing his entire race and the stress of all of them depending on him. RED ALERT! The immortal leader's of Equestria. A radiant white coated alicorn, and another cosmic dark blue coated one right next to the other one. Together they represented the sun and the moon, they controlled the heavens themselves and no one matched the combined might of- "Tia!, get off the poor lads back, he's not your personal transport." A deep masculine voice said, with a hint of mirth. This voice sounded exactly like the voice of Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and it came from the white alicorn. A sparkling pink puff appeared from the back of the royal guard. The little fillies face was one of cute defiance. "Awww! But Spearchuck wants to carry me, see!" She used her tiny white hooves to point at the face of the 'poor lad' she was using as a personal transport. He had the facial expression of a pony between a rock and a hard place, was there any right way to respond to this? "Doesn't that face just scream 'voluntary'!" the little alicorn said. The White alicorn started laughing. It was a deep, hearty laugh that seamed to shake the very ground with it's amplitude. The guards did so and rounded up as many ponies from outside as they could. King Sole him-self also came to the aid of his subjects, crushing rocks with his brute strength, melting them with him magic, crushing giant stone blocks between his massive pectorals (I might be paraphrasing...do alicorns even have pectorals? Do they even lift?). A broken leg or two was the only thing that transpired thanks to the quickness of the guards and King Sole. They were met with a blue magic barrier when they returned. They spared no time and entered the field... The King bellowed, his flowing spiked mane (that could give SS3 goku a run for his money) erupted into flames. A father's love can excite even the wisest and controlled of ponies. The man Animus was verbally sodomizing with a verbal anchor stood his ground, not flinching or reacting in the slightest. "I'm sorry Dr.Light but we must send out the perfect representation of the human race. That is why we asked you to artificially make the perfect human being" The man said, his 'apology' lacking even the slightest hint of actual sincerity. He looked towards the 'human' Ark. His eyes were wide open, and the blankest white you can imagine. His face held no emotion. He was like a blank slate... The man looked at Ark in pride, the same disgusting sense of pride as a serial killer would look at his latest 'work of art'. His face then suddenly turned to a dark, foreboding frown, he looked towards the heartbroken doctor. "But if he brakes, falters in his programming in anyway...Ark..." The doctor almost had a heart attack. The combination of seeing his 'son' opened up and picked at by strangers, the years of love and catering he gave towards the boy, only for him to find out he will just become a drone, a 'perfect' being. The betrayal he felt when he finally saw the writing between the lines of why he was asked to make Ark... But most of all...were the words this man, this stranger, adorned in a sharp suit and tie, with no sadness or remorse in his face, said to him. "Would have to be erased...a fail-safe..." But... a fail-safe to what? Celestia ran up to the voice, not knowing why she didn't just turn and leave right then. Only to see... Ark. His eyes were still shooting that strange beams of light towards the sky... Towards the sun... This beams of energy were SO powerful, anything that would touch these beams would be instantly atomized... But the beams would never reach the sun... No...not even close... Empty"...No..." A horrified Animus said as he looked up at the boy he so loved... A boy he made with all his intelligence... All his love... And treated him like a son... He changed his diaper when he was just a lad... Patched up his knees when he fell off his first bike... Hugged him when he had nightmare's when he was little... That same boy had his buster pointed to the doctors face. His eyes were a blank white and his face was as cold and desolate as the Antarctic tundra. "Impressive isn't it?" The same sharp suited man said, watching the whole unholy display with a prideful smile on his face. The soft hum of Ark's buster charging was the only thing that pierced the deadly silence that followed after that sentence. Celestia was completely and utterly shocked at the...thing before her. It had these disgustingly disfigured wings, bent and torn at stomach retching angles. Its head was looking toward the sky and more importantly, the sun. It's eyes still had the intense white beams of energy emanating from them, piercing the sky and the clouds with a deafening sound unknown to the royal fillies ears. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Celestia was getting more and more frightened by the second. Whatever drove her to come here was absolutely gone now for some reason. He walked up next to Ark and looked down at the doctor, who was kneeling on the cold, unforgiving tile floor. "Oh, me and my organization have you to thank for Ark's current condition...or should I say...model 23459?" Animus was very confused at the reciting of the strange sequence of numbers, but the look of confusion on his face only made the man chuckle. "Animus, for a man who knows so much...yet knows nothing of his own creation, ironic really." The man directed his gaze toward Ark. "Stand down." He said. Ark said nothing and put his buster arm down and stood there... Still staring at the doctor... With those white, empty eyes... "Young filly...you have ALOT of explaining to do...but right now that isn't the pressing matter." Sole looked at the source of the white beams of death. "What manner of monstrosity is this?" King Sole said, his guards at the ready in case the thing tried anything. "Is this the meteor that destroyed the tower? This thing is releasing an extreme amount of energy..." He looked at her daughter and gave her an angry glare. "And thou went TOWARDS this beast!" He said. Celestia shrunk back. The doctor's tried to breath for air as he was hoisted towards the closest chair. Ark didn't even react to the look of pain on his creators face... He just stared at him...with those white, empty eyes. Once the doctor was settled, the man sat on the opposite side of the table. He got a tablet out of the brief case he was toting that came to the doctor's attention right at that moment. He gave them to Animus as he sat down. The tablet had an extremely long list that contained names of people, many people. And one thing was common to all of these names is that they all... Were deceased. The doctor carefully went though all the pages of the file. In complete horror at the sheer amount of names on the cold,black,tablet. They all had a brief description about each of themselves... As well as a gruesomely short cause of death... Reed Jenkens: 5'8 feet tall Long brown hair, stocky build,white, male. Test subject number: 1500. He kept scrolling down the black tablet, it took him several minutes to reach the end. With every scroll he felt a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. All these people dead...but for what? Then...the poor doctor reached the end of the list, and was shocked to find... Ark... His file though was much more detailed, but it was still short and to the point. Animus said silently. His mind was to overloaded with all this information. The man in the suit just stared into the shimmering eyes of Animus, tears for the dead almost dripping from his old, tired eyes. The man's face became unreadable, he sat there and took a deep long breath. He smiled. "They were undergoing a...simulation, if you will, they honestly believed that earth was gone, and everyone they knew, everything they loved, was gone to the winds of the universe...we were trying to find the right person to send out into the cosmos...they all failed..." The man said solemnly. Making it look like he actually held sympathy for the people his organization drove to the breaking point of their minds. "...All that money and time wasted on regular people, we lost about 3 years of time and about 17 billion dollars. Erasing memories, deleting files, burning evidence, money,money,money...all of it to cover our failures..." Any thought of this man actually harboring a heart was destroyed. The man continued to rant. "Ark was, in a financial sense, literally impossible to create. You think making nanobots that make an organic being immortal can be bought at best buy on Black Friday? The resources that were put into a five inch long tube could literally end world hunger 300 times over. And Ark himself, the genetic mapping...FROM SCRATCH...the preparation, the blueprints...EVERYTHING, even the concept of Ark himself was already being worked on many years before any of us were born..." The man fixed his suit a little before talking again, clearing his throat. "...And do you want to know what that concept was...?" The ground underneath the hooves of the ponies that were occupying the space were Ark was shook with violent intensity. King Sole was a pony who almost never felt fear in his life, his power, his title, his confidence in himself made the concept of fear in him almost illogical... Yet he has never felt fear like the cold vice that gripped his very heart and soul right now. Whatever this...thing was, it was quickly producing an extreme amount of energy, The energy was almost overshadowing his power, and it was quickly escalating. Whatever this thing was...it had to be stopped... But how? "...Maybe this will give you a hint?" The man in the suit took the tablet back and touched the screen a couple times... He gave it back to Animus who was confused for a second at the picture before him... Captain America... "What does this have to do with any of the atrocities you and your people committed to Ark and these people, let alone an explanation to any of this?" Animus questioned. He was not in the mood for games. "Oh it has everything to do with this little situation we have here...can you satisfy my curiosity as to...what Captain America is?" The man said, making a circular gesture to the doctor to goad him into responding. The doctor squinted his eyes and glared at the man "forgive me if I am not current on pop culture." He said with decent amount of venom in his voice. The man laughed. "Captain America, in the comic books, was the first successful super soldier, there is really nothing more I need to say at this point." The sleek suited man said. The gears in Animus's head started to turn. "Ark...was originally a...military experiment?" The man chuckled. "It might seem cliche, but yes. It was only an idea, we didn't have the money or the intelligence to carry out this. The latter was solved when you came into the picture, the former...well that one was a game changer." Animus guessed what solved their money problems. "Let me guess... the sun?" Animus asked. The man clapped his hands once. "Bingo. Money isn't really an object when it comes to the survival of the human race, the worlds governments didn't know that Ark was originally a super soldier project, so we...withheld that information. We got our money and resources, and they got the last hope for humanity...if you can even call Ark human." The man looked at Ark and so did the doctor... Again, he was just standing there, casting a cold, emotionless stare at both of them... With those white, empty eyes... "What did you do to him?" Animus demanded to know. The man focused back to the doctor. "What 'he' was originally programmed to do, follow orders of whoever 'he' is assigned to, with no emotion to hold back 'his' reasoning. 'He' is, and should have been permanently in, command mode and right now 'he' is assigned to me, a simple reading of DNA to assign 'him' to you, and another swipe of the same DNA and a termination code, to make 'him' able to receive another assignment" The man said with ease, like completely overriding the consciousness of a human being and replacing it with a mindless, emotionless drone was a daily occurrence in his life. Animus picked up you something. "What do you mean by 'should have been permanently in'?" The doctor asked, to his sick horror he actually found a curious thirst for knowledge in this subject. "Ah, and that is where the game was changed Dr. Animus." The man said. The suited man re-positioned himself on the chair to get into a more comfortable position. "It should be pretty obvious as to why 'he' was given a conscious, you think they were just going to shoot a emotionless drone as the last hope and remnant of humanity? That is why we had to let you 'raise' 'him' into an actual human being, flaws and all, all were doing is...taking those flaws away." The man said. Trying to best explain gutting the consciousness of a person and putting back in a 'perfect' model of the human mind. The doctor scoffed. "So your trying to bring a bland, overused, 2-D personality as your example of humanity? Taking the flaws out of his being? That wouldn't really be a human...he'd be just a programmable consciousness." The doctor said. "That is a measure we have to take. 'He' has to be perfect...not just to 'get in good with the locals' as people say it nowadays...but also for the survival of 'him'...and the world 'he' is on." The man said. The doctor's eyes widened in shock as the information shook him to the core. "You didn't...you fool...please tell me you didn't." The man sighed. "We had to...it was the only way to actually make him 'immortal'" The doctor wanted to throttle the man again, but he couldn't...the information was too taxing on his old body. He sat there, eyes wide open. "...You do realize...that by trying to make him the mirror of perfection...that you gave him a flaw so great...that it could result in the destruction of another race?" The man laughs darkly. "A sick irony if there ever was one." He said. The monstrosity in the forest, before the eyes of the royal guards and one of the co-rulers of the land started to violently accelerate in it's energy production. Sole could sense the impending doom of his kingdom... His nation... His world... Explosions of energy started to randomly occur around Ark. Making a district sound as they violently were born. *BLOW* *BLOW* *BLOW* *BLOW* *BLOW* *BLOW* *BLOW* Celestia was more scared at this moment in time then any of her 8 year existence. Not because of the thing violently exploding in front of her, even though that played a big factor in her fear... It was her fathers face that scared her beyond her understanding. The fearless King Sole, proud and strong embodiment of the sun, nothing could match his power, his bravery... ... He was scared. "Mages, stand thy ground and prepare to create a barrier...we have to hold this beast of when it finally...explodes." He ordered, not in the loud, traditional, Royal Canterlot Voice, but in a calm and level tone. The mage's obeyed and came forward in a line. Their horns glowing to feebly try to create a barrier around this thing. UNUSEIUM POWER CORE GOING CRITICAL! MUST REACH FINAL STATES OF FAIL-SAFE PROCEEDINGS!! The doctor slammed his fist on the table, and he looked at the man he so loathed at this moment with righteous anger. "What possessed you to use that...it was banned and made illegal throughout the entire world in a unanimous decision by the worlds governments FOR GOOD REASON." The doctor screamed to the man. "When dealing with a situation like this, law doesn't have a place to restrict, now does it?" The man said. "That substance was dubbed Unuseium because if made unstable, the substance could DESTROY THE WORLD. Are you insane!?" Animus said. "And that reason is why we must make 'him' perfect." The man countered the doctors reasoning. "To stay stable throughout the whole endeavor until the A.I programmed in his mind could safely maintain and dissipate the surge of emotions that caused the suicide of our last 23458 subjects. The Unuseium, though extremely volatile, is the only thing that can perpetually run the core. It is inside 'his' body, and hard wired into 'his' brain...if 'he' were to lose 'his' will to live like the others... the unuseium would go critical...and it would destroy both Ark...and the world 'he' is on. It was the only option out there given time we had." The man stopped his speech. "SO YOU MADE HIM INTO A LIVING,POSSIBLY PLANET DESTROYING BOMB!?" The doctor screamed. Silence... After his outburst Animus took a second to absorb the information that was given to him. The man continued. "That is also why we tried to created the perfect world to bring 'him' to, that's the reason we...'persuaded' Lauren Faust to let us...tweak some of the things in her show, not anything to do with the show itself...but sort of a... subroutine, if you will." The man said. "Subroutine-A set of instructions designed to perform a frequently used operation within a program?"" The doctor recited the definition of the word silently, too taxed by the information buzzing in his brain to speak any louder than that. The man nodded. "We would make it so that if...or when... a human, or more specifically Ark were to come into Equestria, he would be 1000% percent more likely to be accepted and that things would always work in his favor...an 'Easy Scenario' if you will. Without him, or more specifically the A.I, the subroutine would deactivate. " He explained. "So he could be further protected from the- wait you said A.I?" The doctor shifted priorities in the middle of his sentence, regaining some of the volume in his voice. The man smiled. "I knew you were a sharp one, even though I already mentioned it. Yes... an A.I....but that does not stand for Artificial Intelligence, oh no..." The man stood up and walked towards Ark and pressed into the bright circle in his chest. Out popped a little chip that the man grabbed and walked towards Animus with it clutched in his cold pale hands. Ark didn't even react... He just stared into the wall. With those white, empty eyes... He put the chip on the table and a bright light soon followed, to reveal... Animus. Shock was the only thing that perceived in the mind of the poor doctor. "We programmed this 'Animus Interface' to say and believe it is the program mimicking the 'father' of the Ark project." The man laughed "the biggest load of bull i've ever heard in my life." "But...why are you telling me all this...what could you possibly gain from telling me this information?" The man smiled, a dark smile that never meant anything good... Something was about to happen. "Mage's...form the barrier now...If anypony here has any regret's...I'm truly sorry." Sole said, activating his own magic. The mages started to empty all the magic they had into creating a barrier around Ark's body, the beam stopped shooting in the air... But then a huge explosion started to slowly envelope Ark, and the mage's all silently begged that their magic was strong enough to withhold the energy... "Why do we tell you all this?" The man put the thumb side of his fist on his chin, looking like he was pondering on the question. The man started to laugh "oh I remember now...do you really think we would let you live after divulging this information to you?" The man nonchalantly said. The doctor froze. "Ark, come here..." The man said. Ark slowly walked towards the two men. The walk was slow,impending and his shoes made the distinct sound of hard sole on cold metal. *Tho...* *Tho...* *Tho...* Soon he was upon the men and he toward over both of them. The suited man stood up. "Ark, for real this time...end this mans life...but before for you do..." The man whispered something in Ark's ear. "Acknowledged." Ark started to turn towards the doctor and raised his buster up towards his face. "How will you hide this from him when he has to leave?" Animus said softly. Tears running down his eyes and collecting in his beard. The man chuckled. "Let's just say we are very good at manipulation, and leave it at that." The man said. The buster was level with Animus's face... "Good bye...daddy." Ark said... With those white, empty eyes... *BLAOW!* The energy started to die down, the barrier strangely met no resistance. After the energy died down completely, the only thing that could be seen was the monstrosity, injured and face down in the dirt. It rose to it's knees, and looked at the group that witnessed the death of innocence... And it was staring at them... With those white, empty eyes...
CrashThe city of Canterlot was in jubilation. Confetti was raining down, ponies were cheering and screaming. The new princess was just crowned, everypony was happy...It was a perfect day. Princess Twilight Sparkle was in front of all of these raving ponies, and so were her five best friends. Friends that throughout her stay in ponyville, taught her so many things in the magic of friendship. All their adventures, ups, and downs. They have been though it all, and now they all share the happiness of being with Twilight on her big day. Her crowning. A nudge from her mentor snapped Twilight out of her thoughts. "Say something, Princess." The extremely decked out Alabaster Alicorn said. "Oh!" Twilight clears her throat. She addressed the crowd. "A little while ago, my teacher Princess Celestia sent me to live in ponyville to study friendship, which is something I didn't really care for." She then pointed to her friends and motioned them to come closer. "But now, on a day like today, I can safely say (rhyme, haha!) I wouldn't be standing here today if it weren't for the friendships that I made with all of you." Rainbow, Applejack, Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy were all tearing up. The emotion that could be felt during this event was almost palpable. "Each one of you taught me something about friendship, and for that, I will always be grateful." She bowed to her friends before returning to address the crowd. "Today, I consider myself the luckiest pony in equestria, thank you friends...thank you everypony!" This event has been known to all humanity for several years, all the crime that would be committed already was, anyone would wanted to commit suicide already did... "...Alright, this is it." A boy said. This boy had mocha brown skin and...he had only one arm. In the center of his chest was a blue circle. He was a tall boy, about 6'3 last time he checked... that might actually be the last time he will ever check. "The sun will unleash a massive flare...so powerful that not only will it destroy all life on our planet...but I think anyone who takes an interest in the sun could have seen this coming years in advance." Suddenly the boys eyes opened, pieces of metal started to float and race towards the space that his missing arm would take up. The parts assembled into a metallic blue arm. The boy looked at it for a couple seconds... his face was like a bad dam, failing on the inside, but solid on the outside. Only showing it's damage to the naked eye when it's too late. Then he began to walk out of the building he occupied. More pieces of metal started to attach on to him. Many men in white lab coats were looking at him while he was walking. Their faces solemn, some tears here and there. A man with a pure white beard that would put santa, and Dr.Light to shame came out of the group of scientists. In his hands was a tray that held a blue syringe. "...You do know what will happen to you if you do this?" A older gentlemen said as he walked towards the boy. The boy nodded. "Once you do this... you can never turn back, are we clear?" The man said. His ripened face starting to show some tears. "Sir, I wouldn't be here if I didn't know what I was getting into." The boy said. His face also failing to hide some of his emotion. The syringe was then given to the boy. "All of humanity rests in you..." The man said. The boy took the syringe... and injected himself. The armor completed he took one last look at the scientist. "My son..." The man went over to the armor clad boy and hugged him, he returned the hug...well much more carefully though. The boy's face was hidden by the metal mask he wore, his face... Was ridden with tears. He blasted into the sky, and he started to hear the broadcast that was played throughout the world. Almost all human life on earth was listening to this broadcast...families were huddled together, people were just sitting there, silent. "I do not come to you as an American... but as a fellow human being...even though we had our differences, our wars... I am proud address you...how ironic it is that at the time of our death's...we achieved world peace?" The sun unleashed its massive energy...the doom of the entire human race...but they were ready. They already got their affairs in order, now they were just waiting for it. "It will only take seven minutes for the flare to reach Earth...We will send a person out to the cosmos...so we can live on..." six minutes... A man shaped object was flying at rapid speeds away from Earth. "We have been working on dimension travel for over a thousand years now... If anyone can see the thing rocketing up to the sky right now...it is the culmination of all our work progress as a species...The Ark Project" Inside the object that was flying away from earth... was a man...no, a boy. Seventeen years of age...Inside the suit... He was crying. Two minutes... "That object in the sky is a seventeen year old boy... in the most advanced and amazing armor known to man... his genius and the worlds funding made it possible for only one suit to be able to breach dimensions..." thirty seconds... "Active the portal." The boy said. silently crying though the whole thing. "...as you wish..." A robotic voice said... A rainbow light in the center of the boys chest started to glow, a beam came out of his chest... and a portal formed... 15... "Well...this is it my friends..." The broadcaster said. 14... "It's been a blast..." 13... The ponies cheer as there newly crowned princess leaves the balcony. This day is perfect, life in equestria is perfect... 12... "...Godspeed, Ark...live long and prosper." 11... All the life on earth was looking up at the sky, not only at the sun... but at the boy in the suit. They were all looking at the human that will continue on their race. They could only feel one emotion... 10... "Twilight! I'm so proud of you!" Said a crying Shining Armor. 9... The boy was almost at the portal... almost. "I will be the only one..." The boys tears started to pick up in volume. 8... "Are you crying?" asked a amused Twilight. 7... "I'm not crying...its liquid pride...completely different" Said Shining 6... All of Twilight's friends congratulated her on her achievement, they all came together in a group hug... 5... "Life in equestria shimmers!" Trumpets sound as the princess exclaims her joy. 4... "Life in equestria shines!" 3... "And I know for absolute certain!" 2... "That everything!" 1... "Yes everything!" 0... Everything in equestria is just fi-" Twilight starts as she soars in the air... She is stopped by the sound of the earth shaking... Sounds of electricity start to pierce everyponies eardrums... A orange portal starts to open in the sky... BOOOOOOOOOOOM! "W-w-what!?" Twilight screams. (You just had to jinx it, didn't you Twilight?) An orange flaming ball comes out of the portal, it is heading straight towards the castle, it is so fast that it breaks the sound barrier, causing an enormous sonic rainboom...it looks so beautiful... Celestia feels a great sadness in her heart all of a sudden... she doesn't know why. It crashes just before it hits the castle... It starts skipping on the ground like a flat stone a lake, towards the castle. Ponies are panicking, running out of the trajectory of the...thing... It finally starts to slow down, creating a large trail of dirt while it does so... It lands in the center of the road that Twilight's chariot was just carrying her though... Silence... The dust settles and some...thing starts to stand up in the center of the crater... Some ponies look away from the monstrosity... One of its forelegs starts to fall apart piece by piece. The blue pieces collecting on the floor. The weird blue shiny skin it has is peeled off in some places revealing another layer of bloody brown skin. Its body is convulsing It looks like it's crying...but... somethings wrong... It's crying...the colors of the rainbow. "What... is that?..." Goes though the mind of everypony there in the castle yard. The things looks around again. It struggles to stand. Then it falls to one knee The pieces of the foreleg that fell apart start floating... and they shakily try to reassemble on his body. It trys to stand up one more time, it does so. Suddenly fire comes out of his hindlegs at it is propelled upwards, but the fire sputters, and it loses balance. It crashes to the floor again, but this time, it vomits a mixture of blood and... other colors. Rainbow Dash started to pale when she saw its eyes...the blue shiny skin was peeled off its face... Its eyes were constantly changing color, rainbow colored blood seeped from its eyes. There was a tiny black dot in the center of each eye, they were shaking violently. The thing tries to open it's mouth, but when it does, an enormous amount of rainbow colored goop came out. It made a horrible sounded retching noise, this caused most of the mares, and even some stallions that let curiosity get the better of them and saw the event faint, puke in their mouths, or cry. Twilight has never seen this kind of creature before...but she has read of what is happening to it. The being goes down on the floor and stops moving, Twilight swoops down and carefully helps the (VERY HEAVY) creature to her back. "Medics!" She screams. The doctors that were in the crowd started to run towards the practically doomed being. Also some civilians were coming in just as muscle. Mostly pegasi...for a very good reason, even Rainbow (got there first of course) helped. Even though this creature is foreign, its body unknown to any of the ponies there...no being deserves to endure what it is enduring... something that is very deadly to pegasi due to their work... and ponies in general... Spectra poisoning.
Happy alien rainbow blood vomit slip n' slideRainbow colored goop was splattered over the dress that Twilight was wearing, the colors tainting the newly made Alicorns beautiful dress. The rest of her friends were following her. Rainbow Dash, and very surprisingly, Fluttershy were helping Twilight and the doctors haul this strange being to the CCU (Critical Condition Unit). "What ahn tarnation is this thang!?" Applejack exclaimed. She was galloping next to her friends, trying to keep up with them as they raced towards the castle. Many twists and turns in the route Twilight was taking made Applejack proud that she spent all her life bucking apples, training her body to withsta- "*retching noise*" The strange being on Twilicorn's back once again vomited a rainbow of colors, staining the marble floor they were galloping on. Applejack managed to avoid the sludge. But Rarity was slipping and sliding on that vomit like it was oil slick. "Oh, augh! This is simply, horrendous! How, oh HOW am I going to get rainbow vomit out of my coat!" Drama queen mode: activate. "What if this says on forever!? Oh Celestia why!? *sob* It's just not faaair!" She was whining up a storm while running though the gunk. "Rarity, do as all ah favor and hush up! We don't need ya whining with this...thang on twi's back puking up rainbows ahl over tha place!" Applejack scolded Squiggly Tail. The 'thang' as Applejack describes it vomits up another stream of rainbow. Pinkie gets caught in it this time and starts to slide. "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Pinkie says as she slides though the alien barf. One of the ponies following the group gets caught up in the 'fun' and starts sliding on the gak- gunk, the pony started sliding on the gunk. The pony flailed his hooves around, his brown coat ruined by the rainbow upchuck... He tripped and got a mouthful of barf... and it wasn't his own. "Augh! OH, ah SPICY! AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH! MY EYES! MY EYES! MY BIGGER THAN ANY OTHER BODY PART IN MY ANATOMY EYES! AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" The pony was helped up by some doctors, and was then sent to the same place the human was going. "SO MUCH RAINBOW!!! ARGH! WHAT DOES IT MEAN!? IT BURNS!!!" The pony screamed. Everypony hearing this made a mental note not to ingest the rainbow vomit, if that wasn't clear already. Pinkie didn't seem to- "AUUUUUURGH!" Yet another blast of rainbow exited the mouth of the alien being, this time poor Applejack wasn't quick enough to escape the stream... Her body is covered in the disgusting substance. Pinkie started laughing. She laughed so hard that she didn't notice her back being covered by the rainbow substance while she had her back on the group...HOW is she still sliding is a mystery to everypony, Applejack couldn't voice her disgust because she didn't want to go all crazy like the other pony did. If Pinkie Pie thought rainbows were spicy...what would SHE think of it. The group was almost in the CCU, almost all the ponies had some sort of rainbow on there body. Except for (oh the irony) Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, who were helping lift the thing to the CCU. Twilight opened the door with her magic, and set the being down on a bed. "Restrain it! It's in too much pain to control its body movements." Twilight ordered. Some guards that came on the bandwagon a while ago complied with her order Celestia and Luna were close behind... Rarity, Pinkie, and Zap Applejack (see what I did there?) were looking in shock at the being... Its mouth was bleeding the rainbow covered gunk profusely. It's body was convulsing violently, the strange forearm of the being was falling to pieces again...but most of all... It's eyes... Constantly changing color, the pupil of his eye was a tiny speck, and was violently moving in all directions... So much pain in those eyes... so much fear... The sounds coming from it were just incoherent mumbling and screams of pain. "What...is happening to the it?" Rarity questioned. Looking on in pity at the poor creature that was in so much pain. Twilight was going to answer, but surprisingly, Rainbow Dash beat her to it. "Third Degree Spectra Poisoning." She somberly said. Applejack was in the showers, being cleaned of the...'blood'...on her body. "Any pegasi worth their salt would know whats happening right now... the constant vomiting of poisoned blood-" "Wait... t-t-the stuff it is vomiting is... blood?" Rarity said, a hoof to her mouth. The horrifying discovery of how serious this situation really is was cemented when the alien vomited another spew contaminated blood. His position on the bed, and its erratic movements caused blood to spew everywhere. The doctors in charge had to force the beings head into a plastic vomit bag. One doctor was patting it on the back, trying to calm it down. The being was crying bloody tears of colorful agony. "It's body is completely overloaded with Spectra. It's so bad that, if the being survives, it's eyes will be in a permanent state of change. The speed of the color change depends on how bad the poisoning originally was, in most cases the color change is slow, and very subtle...I don't think that would be the case with this thing." Everypony, even the doctors who were tending to the suffering being, stared at rainbow in surprise. The athletic, cocky mare was showing a side of herself nopony has ever seen before... all except one. "How... did you know all this?" Twilight asked, at this Rainbow looked down. "I... lost my mother to Spectra poisoning...she was working in the factory when some idiot bumped into her, she landed in a spectra pool..." "Mommy!? Mommy! What's wrong!? Please t-t-talk to me!" The emergency medics in the room had to physically remove her from the bed the little fillies mother was in. Said mare was violently thrashing in her restraints... the poisoning was too far advanced. "She was in the pool for about three minutes... trying to get out, the pony who bumped into her ran away... and was never found..." A stallion that had the same hair and looks as the rainbow haired filly helped the doctors remove her. "There is nothing we can do Dashy... please, let them do their work." The stallion moved the filly out of the emergency room. "When someone did find her in the pits... they put on Spectra suits to get her out...that took about one minute..." Both the rainbow haired filly and stallion were waiting in the lobby for the doctors to come out. The fluffy clouds that made up the seats did nothing to comfort the duo. The sound of doors opening made the ears of the ponies in the lobby perk up, they both looked up to see a doctor, tainted with spectra on her once pure white coat. A tear was in her eye...the doctor looked to the waiting duo... And shook her head. "She was declared dead 3 hours after she was admitted out of the hospital...I was only 7 years old." The funeral was long, and grueling. The deceased wished for her body to be cremated... and set out into the skys of equestria. A spell was put on her ashes so that they would never touch the ground...always flying... Always free. "She wanted to be turned into ashes... and set out into the sky...i'm the one who set her ashes into the winds." A filly was holding a very beautiful urn in her hooves, two intricately etched wings were constantly going around the urn, they never ended. A 7 year old Rainbow Dash let the top go... and the ashes went into the sky, off into the sunset. "Goodbye..." "The only thing the factory did was 'apologize' for the tragic accident... and change the 'Days without accident' board from five years... to 0" Everypony stood in silence, tears in there eyes as Dash's story sunk- *eeeeeeeeeeeannnnnnnnNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN* A strange humming sound was heard by everypony, the source of the sound... was the strange being who's condition instigated Rainbow Dash's story. It's weird foreleg was fully rebuilt onto it's body and end of the foreleg... morphed into some sort of sleek tube, with a red orb inside the blue cylinder. The being was still thrashing, so it probably didn't know what it was doing. It's arm glowed an ominous purple... Twilight started to feel a strange energy emanating from the- *BLOOOOAAAW!* A blue blast of energy erupted from the flailing beings forearm. It's angle, made the blast fly towards a window... The blast pierce though the wall the unfortunate window resided on. A very large hole was left in the wall. The blast kept on going for a very long time before it dissipated. *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn* The appendage was still flashing purple, another shot could come out any second. "Get down!" A guard sai- *EEEEEAAAAOOOOW!* Another shot, bigger than the last one, with many other smaller shots orbiting it, came out and went towards a purple barrier Twilight quick-spawned. Being an Alicorn wasn't just a physical augmentation. The blast was extremely powerful, when the blast impacted, the barrier was barely hanging on. That was Twilight's strongest barrier, and the creature almost accidentally sent her and her friends to the glue factory in the sky. The arm fell to pieces again and its parts were scattered all over the room. "We have to calm it down! It is not in control of it's actions!" A new voice said. It was powerful and commanding, yet gentle and calming. It was Princess Celestia, accompanied by her sister Luna. The doctors and guards didn't miss a beat. They had to restrain this thing before it harmed anypony. "That won't be necessary, Princess Celestia." Another new voice said. Everypony tried to find the source of the voice, but were drawing up nothing. "Ark nanobots have adapted to the new environment, but basic DNA catalyst is still needed for foreign substance in body, Activate?" Another voice said. This one was strangely monotone, but sounded alive as well. "Not yet, we need that DNA...administer pain relievers." A blue light appeared from the chest of the being, who was now still... A transparent figure slowly was made into being... it was made of blue energy... It had a long white beard the radiated wisdom. A very aged looking being, wearing a pure white coat, it's mane was as white as its beard, and just as voluminous. His voice was laced with years of wisdom and experience, rivaling that of Princess Celestia. "Hello." The being said. Everypony was shocked to see this being hear in front of them...come out of the other ones CHEST no less. But the being radiated a calming aura. Nopony panicked when they saw this creature. Celestia addressed the floating being. "What are you? And how did you know my name?" She questioned. "My name is Animus Light, what you see before you...was a human. A race of intelligent beings not of your dimension." He looked onto the fallen human, who was also looking at the hologram... He uttered his first words, but still some tainted blood dribbled from his mouth. "F-f-f...fat-t-ther?" The boy said. The hologram looked down onto his son, and smiled. "Yes, Ark...i'm sorry, but I am just a hologram with the personality and information of him...the truth is he is dead..." The boy nodded... "I know..." He choked out. His eyes did not change in the slightest, they were still flashing. "I can understand if there is any confusion right now but I will explain in due time... all you have to due is ask the right questions... but before that." The being looked at Rainbow Dash. "This boy, Ark, needs your assistance...the only way he can be truly cured of this, is for one of you to touch the center of his chest...please" Everypony looked at the boy. He looked back, barely, his head was twitching and his eyes were constantly darting in random directions... "I'll do it." Rainbow Dash said with no hesitation in her voice as she trotted up the the poisoned human. "Ma'am I don't thi-" One of the guards started to say. But he hushed up when Rainbow looked at him. "I let already saw one pony die from Spectra poisoning, the death is slow, agonizing, and painful. I WILL NOT let another po-...whatever this guy is called to die like that, knowing I can save him." She narrowed her eyes and looked at the guard. "You got that, bub?" The guard nodded. Once that was over she went back to the human boy in pain. A little filly was crying, holding the urn that contained her mothers remains...she couldn't do anything to her... She felt so helpless... "Don't worry dude, I got cha" She said. Dash lifted her hoof and raised it to his chest, were the hologram was emanating from. "...T-t-thank you..." The poisoned boy said. Rainbow stopped her hoof and looked at the boys face. For the first time, it- no, he was smiling. Its eyes still had a lot of pain on them, but much less the the crazy spasms that were racking his body. "No problem...call me Dash." She said. Her trademark smirk was etched in her face. She put her hoof on the circle on his chest... It turned yellow and started to hum. "DNA ACQUIRED. BEGIN ADAPTATION?" A robotic voice said. "Yes, begin the process, estimated time to completion?" "Ten minutes, due to the complexity of the program used in the A.E program, recommended steps are to: give the Ark vessel at least a 5 feet radius of space Animus hologram should detach from Ark vessels lifeline. Avert eyes 9 minutes into Finalization process. The brightness may cause sight damage if exposed for too long." A small metal square detached from the supposed lifeline of the human and the hologram moved with it. Everypony gave the human some space so that the process could start. "Metamorphosis field...begin" The human began floating in the air and cyan strips of energy began forming around the human, but it was just one small strip. the pieces of the arm started to float towards the human, once they reached their target, they started to orbit. The ponies were shocked to hear that, but Celestia took it the hardest. She herself was the incarnation of the sun...and if this happened...she didn't want to accepted it. Many strips of energy were floating around him, you could barely see him. "W-w-why did you 'make' him thought" Twilight said. Fearing the answer. ... ... ... The Earth was washed over with the anger of the sun. The oceans boiled, the crust peeled. The people swept away in the solar winds... From dust they were made...and to dust they shall return. Ark AngelThere wasn't a pony that had a dry face in the room. Animus was gone...humanity was gone... And there was only one left... The bright cyan ball of energy that housed the last hope of humanity started to hum.The energy swirling around him faster, and faster. Then the ball became brighter, so bright in fact that you couldn't close your eyes and face the light. The energy started to form into a shape. it started to float farther into the- The castle started to shake violently, glass was being heard shattering in the distance. The shaped started to grow... Wings! The wings spread themselves out, the immense energy that was created by the transformation rocking the castles foundations... The humming started to get louder... And louder... And louder! The being humming almost became deafening. The being curled itself into a ball, and the most ear popping sound occurred. *PEEEEEEEEEEOW!* The energy was flung out everywhere, and the human fell to the floor, landing on his two feet, he wobbled a little but stood his ground. "Ohhh...woah." He shook his head a little bit and looked at the group of ponies, who were staring it him with shock. Or more specifically, the area around him. He looked back, and was extremely surprised to find...wings. Wings... WINGS... "..." He was silent. Then he flipped out. A state that can only be activated activated post-rainboom. Increases Ark vessels speed, resilience, and reflexes 10 fold for a short amount of time." "Thats... SO AWESOME!" Then... *Squee* His voice was almost identical to Rainbows at that point...and that sound effect just happened. He realiezed what just happened, cleared his throat, and looked the other way. The room was silent... "Awkward..." Pinkie said out of nowhere. Giggling slightly. "...Thanks for saving me, by the way." The boy said to Dash. She waved it off. "No problem dude, just comes with being awesome." She said. The boy extended his wings and looked at them for a second. "Wow...same color too." He marveled at his new appendages. Rainbow was looking at them to. "Gotta say...you got a nice wingspan." The boy hears Dash say. Her tone makes him sort of nervous. "Ummm...thanks?" The boy says. He sits down on the bed that was restraining him, he takes a look at the hole in the wall he made when he was poisoned. "I'm really sorry if I hurt anyone...pony." He looked at his (now also cyan) buster arm. It disassembled in mid air, every piece that could be put together was disassembled. He looked at the inner workings of the arm for a couple seconds, then it reassembled back into an arm. He looks at all of the ponies, there faces shocked and looking at his arm. He smirked. "Whats the matter, shocked because I'm so awe-." He puts his hand over his mouth. His voice again sounded exactly like Rainbow Dash's voice "It happened again...darn it." Some giggles here and their eased his embarrassment a little. He walked back to the hole and- The sonic rainboom of the portal he came though was visible to him. Like a heart attack, all the memories of the past came slamming back into him. He put his head down, and went back to the bed. "Do you know?..." He asked, without looking at the group. The clip clopping of hooves could be heard coming closer to him. He put his head up, only to be gripped in the fierce hug of a butter yellow blob. "You poor thing...you lost everything...I-i-..." Fluttershy couldn't contain her sadness, and she started crying. He hugged back. This led to everypony, even the two monarchs of the land, to join in a group hug... To comfort the last human in existence. "Darling, I can't even begin to understand the pain your going though..." Rarity said, with her own dramatic flair. The boy was in tears, but he dealt with the pain, crying silently as the hug lasted for about 30 minutes. His world was gone... His life never-ending... But he would go on... She says as she gets closer to the being. The winged being does also... "Yes, your Majesty." He says silently under his breath. They share a deep, sensual kiss under the sunse- A tiny white filly, with a pink mane and tail is walking in the royal garden, she was holding a bucket of water in a magical aura that emanated from the horn on her head. A mysterious winged creature with its gigantic wings open, sitting and absorbing the sunlight did not know what the mischievous little filly had in store for the being. The creature takes a deep breath, and sighs. "Man, this sun is just- DEAUUUUA! COLD COLD COLD!" The being is soaked in a mess of strikingly cold water. When the being turned around to see his assailant. He caught a slight poof of pink fur moving behind the bushes. "Get back here!" the winged mystery ran towards the poof, only to see a bright light and then feel two soft white stumps cover his eyes. The being hears giggling. "Gotcha!" The filly on top of the creature said, her little hooves wrapped around the winged creature's neck. "Very funny Tia, but now...payback!" The creature used his mighty cyan wings to gently tickle the filly on her back. "Eeeeep! S-s-staaHAHAHAH!" the little filly was no match for the mighty being wings, the creature took this chance to grab the filly and put her on the ground, still tickling her with his wings, and the brown foreleg he had, he didn't use the shiny cyan one. "Give up?" asked the being. "Ye-ye-YES! Hahaha, stahp!" She screamed out. He obliged and stopped tickling her. "Huzzah! I have defeated the mighty Celestia!" the mystery being laughs. The filly laughs and stands up, and pulls out another hidden bucket filled with water- A being cuts though the air at a great velocity, his blue arm turned into a cylinder. The arm was glowing an angry purple, he was flying towards a jumbled up assortment of creatures. It was laughing maniacally. "DISCOOORD!" The angry creature shoots a mighty blast from it's- A being holds Celestia as she is crying. One of the mystery creature's wings was bloody and the armor that the enigma was wearing was beaten, dented, and had black scorch marks on it. "This was the only thing we could do Tia." The injured creature says. "I know my love...but why does it hurt so much?" A crying also injured Celestia disparately asks the being. He brings her in closer, and she gladly accepts the love. "Because sometimes the right decision...is the one we most want to avoid..." The being says, as if he himself learned this valuable lesson a long time ago... Six jewels are on the ground around them, dull and lacking in luster. Still disoriented by that strange dream he had. "What is this?" He thinks. He hears snickering in the background, and he feels something wiggling in his grip as he goes further down with his hands. Celestia gasps as her flank is fondled by the human. The feeling of her gasping on his torso makes him let go and gives her time to escape his perverted grasp. "Wha-what? Chuckling a little bit. "The human...uhhh" "Hologram." Ark said. "Right, the human hologram said our world was a show on your planet, do you already know our names?" She asked. "Why yes, yes I do know your names" He said. He grew a small smirk on his face before talking again. He pointed to Rainbow Dash: "Rainbow" He pointed to Twilight Sparkle: "Purple Smart" He pointed to Rarity: "Squiggly Tail" He pointed to Applejack: "Appleblonde" He pointed to Pinkie Pie: "Pink Pie" At lastly he pointed to Fluttershy: "And...what was your name again...oh, Buttershy, right?" This time Celestia had a question. "Is it true you are immortal?" Celestia asked. She got the red out of her face also. He froze at that question. His happy and joking demeanor changed... he looked down. "Yes." "Are...you serious?" A boy asked the long table full of decorated military men. They nodded. The man who sat in the 'Egypt' mark section stood up. "This is not another 2012 'prophecy'... this is real, and we must preserve the will of humanity, so we biologically engineered a perfect human..." "They knew the sun was going to destroy us...so they artificially birthed one human..." The boy slammed his fists into the wooden counter, his face was wet with tears. "You're saying that I'M this lab experiment you made! You're saying that I don't even have a biological father!..." He looked at his father and say just one sentence. "Do you really love me, or am I just an experiment to you?" "All my gifts, my intelligence, my physical being itself...came out of a tube." The old man shed a tear. The boy said, completely confused. "I know it sounds extreme... but we only have the resources to make one batch of nanobots, and even those take about ten years to make...we only have one year left." The American General explained. "Also, to give the suit that you made the ability to breach the dimensional wall will take up the rest of the time we have..." "Coming here was not an accident." *Knock* *Knock* "Hmmm...who could that be?" A young woman said as she went away from her sofa to answer. Two men in black suits were waiting for her. "Lauren Faust?" Said one of the men. "Yes, Can I help you?" She said. The men both pulled out badges. "Come with us...the president wants to see you..." "Your world was the perfect place for me to live in, the acceptance and love your people...ponies share was ideal for the mental destruction that I would face. Pinkie was about to say (guess) something until Rainbow cut in. "I could teach you how to use those wings, would be no use in having them if you didn't know how to use them." Rainbow suggested. "Well, it would be cool to not fall on my face when I do try to fly, so yeah let's do that." Ark says. The A.I added it's two cents...or bits. "The technique for fight is already in your DNA, all that is needed is use of them." "...So, just fly around for a bit and i'll be good?" Ark asked "Affirmative" Said the A.I "Cool, but before that..." The metal covering his body was flown off of his body and put into a ball that started floating above him. He had no shirt on (ripped off) and had worn out Cargo shorts and sneakers. For some reason he didn't feel embarrassed about having no shirt on. He looked at Twilight, who was most...affected by what he did. "Some other time." He said. Twilights ears drooped. "Awww..." She said in disappointment.. And so Ark, the mane 6, and the two rulers left the hospital room. Celestia and Luna left the group, something about royal duties... Without anypony noticing, Celestia looked at Arks retreating form, her gaze becoming more... She shook her head and berated herself. "You are in control Celestia, don't let that incident let THAT side of you come out." She thought and when towards her duties. She felt a very ominous feeling in the back of her mind...something is going to happen...soon. Ark felt a cold shiver down his spine, but it left just as soon as it came. Before they left the group, they had to make sure that the guards or anypony else would overreact to the alien being in the castle. So they gave them hand...hoof written permission to use the royal gardens for their flight training, the ponies who were attending Twilight's coronation were sent home. The guards reaction to Ark was priceless. Twilight gave the note to the guards, they just stared wide-eyed at the human WITH WINGS while the group was going towards the garden. "At ease, gentlecolts." Ark said and gave them a salute. When he walked away he started laughing. "Always wanted to do that." He thought. One of the guards was looking at him funny... They reached the park. "Okay then...what do we do now?" Ark asks. Pinkie jumped on the opportunity. "Party!" Pinkie screams. She takes out her party cannon from GOD KNOWS WHERE and shoots it. Three seconds later there are tables, streamers, cake, anything that's party related, its there. Nopony questioned it. Ark didn't question it either, something in the back of his head said that was normal, he went with it. "Alright then, let's practice with your wings Ark." Rainbow says. She goes over to Twilight and whispers in her ear. She nods. Her horn glows a bright purple and several clouds start to spawn in the air. "Clear all these clouds, and then you get cake." Rainbow says. A smug smirk appears on her face. "Or is that to much to ask from a newbie?" She challenges... Something clicked in Arks mind. "Oh hell to the no you did not just sass me." He says in his mind. He walked up to her. "Excuse me? You won't be smirking when I blow these clouds away." Ark gets into her face...his voice was a perfect mesh betwwen his, and Rainbow's. "I bet I could do this in TEN.SECONDS.FLAT." He looks at Twilight. "In fact, I bet I could do it with DOUBLE the clouds in the sky, AND without using my buster!" He points to her. His ever-changing eyes mystifying her. "Twilight, if you will." He asks. She nods and doubles the output of clouds in the sky. "Perfect" He says. He spread out his wings... He was bombarded with knowledge. Patterns, tricks, you name it, he knew at that exact moment. He smirked and looked back, the ponies were looking at his amazing wings. He winked and took off in the air... "Time to get to work! Lets..." Youtube Video 30 CLOUD CHALLENGE! Ready... "GO!" 10. He flew to the closest cloud and just barreled though it. The cloud dissipated and with three flaps of his giant wings, he created a tornado that took 3 clouds with it. 26 left... 9. He spun around and blasted towards another cloud. It was sliced in two by his mighty wings, and another one shared the same fate. He pierced though one cloud with a drill like move by spinning his body and spun to roundhouse kick another one into oblivion. He span in place and attracted two more clouds to their doom with the winds he was making. 20 left... 8. He zipped around back and forth quickly ending the lives of three artificial clouds. Then he dive-bombed another cloud. He then spun around again, even though there wasn't any clouds around. 16 left... 7. All the remaining clouds began to come closer together, not by much. This gave him the advantage that he needed. 6. He started to cut though the remaining clouds very easily because of their closer proximity. Two fell when they met his mighty wings. Another one fell when he spun sonic style and barreled though them. 13 left. 5. He punched one cloud in its 'face' and it dissipated. He took that time to scream out. "YOU HAVING FUN YET!? CAUSE I AM!" He screamed. 12 left... 4. He somehow windmilled in mid air, causing winds to be stirred and two clouds met their end. He spun and blasted towards two clouds that were lined up perfectly. He span around and kicked one, and perfectly used his forward momentum to deliver another kick with his other leg. 8 left. 3. He started flying in a circle, a massive tornado started to form. Then all of a sudden a circle of wind blasted from the tornado, taking out four clouds that ventured in too close. 4 left. 2. Another circle of wind came out of the tornado, and eviscerated three unlucky clouds. 1 left. 1. He stopped spinning and blasted up in the air, when he was really high, he set his sights on the last cloud, he went down and started to pick up speed... Faster... Faster... Faster... BOOOOOOOOOM! He breaks the sound barrier and runs though the cloud, the sonic rainboom was amazing. Almost everypony in Canterlot can see it. 0. He lands on the ground and cracks the floor under him. He smirks, breaths on his fist, and polishes it on his bare chest. Having a smug grin that was usually saved for either Rainbow Dash, or Applejack on some occasion. "Ten. Seconds. Flat." He said. His voice still had a Dash of Rainbows voice still in there. She used her tiny white hooves to point at the face of the 'poor lad' she was using as a personal transport. Do they even lift?). A broken leg or two was the only thing that transpired thanks to the quickness of the guards and King Sole. They were met with a blue magic barrier when they returned. They spared no time and entered the field... The man Animus was verbally sodomizing with a verbal anchor stood his ground, not flinching or reacting in the slightest. "I'm sorry Dr.Light but we must send out the perfect representation of the human race. That is why we asked you to artificially make the perfect human being" The man said, his 'apology' lacking even the slightest hint of actual sincerity. He looked towards the 'human' Ark. The man looked at Ark in pride, the same disgusting sense of pride as a serial killer would look at his latest 'work of art'. His face then suddenly turned to a dark, foreboding frown, he looked towards the heartbroken doctor. "But if he brakes, falters in his programming in anyway...Ark..." The doctor almost had a heart attack. The combination of seeing his 'son' opened up and picked at by strangers, the years of love and catering he gave towards the boy, only for him to find out he will just become a drone, a 'perfect' being. The betrayal he felt when he finally saw the writing between the lines of why he was asked to make Ark... But most of all...were the words this man, this stranger, adorned in a sharp suit and tie, with no sadness or remorse in his face, said to him. "Would have to be erased...a fail-safe..." But... a fail-safe to what? Celestia ran up to the voice, not knowing why she didn't just turn and leave right then. Only to see... Ark. His eyes were still shooting that strange beams of light towards the sky... Towards the sun... This beams of energy were SO powerful, anything that would touch these beams would be instantly atomized... But the beams would never reach the sun... No...not even close...

He changed his diaper when he was just a lad... Patched up his knees when he fell off his first bike... Hugged him when he had nightmare's when he was little... That same boy had his buster pointed to the doctors face. His eyes were a blank white and his face was as cold and desolate as the Antarctic tundra. "Impressive isn't it?" The same sharp suited man said, watching the whole unholy display with a prideful smile on his face. The soft hum of Ark's buster charging was the only thing that pierced the deadly silence that followed after that sentence. Celestia was completely and utterly shocked at the...thing before her. It had these disgustingly disfigured wings, bent and torn at stomach retching angles. Its head was looking toward the sky and more importantly, the sun. It's eyes still had the intense white beams of energy emanating from them, piercing the sky and the clouds with a deafening sound unknown to the royal fillies ears. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Celestia was getting more and more frightened by the second. Whatever drove her to come here was absolutely gone now for some reason. He walked up next to Ark and looked down at the doctor, who was kneeling on the cold, unforgiving tile floor. Animus was very confused at the reciting of the strange sequence of numbers, but the look of confusion on his face only made the man chuckle. "Animus, for a man who knows so much...yet knows nothing of his own creation, ironic really." The man directed his gaze toward Ark. "Stand down." He said. Ark said nothing and put his buster arm down and stood there... Still staring at the doctor... With those white, empty eyes... "Young filly...you have ALOT of explaining to do...but right now that isn't the pressing matter." Sole looked at the source of the white beams of death. "What manner of monstrosity is this?" King Sole said, his guards at the ready in case the thing tried anything. "Is this the meteor that destroyed the tower? This thing is releasing an extreme amount of energy..." He looked at her daughter and gave her an angry glare. "And thou went TOWARDS this beast!" He said. Celestia shrunk back. He just stared at him...with those white, empty eyes. Once the doctor was settled, the man sat on the opposite side of the table. He got a tablet out of the brief case he was toting that came to the doctor's attention right at that moment. He gave them to Animus as he sat down. The tablet had an extremely long list that contained names of people, many people. And one thing was common to all of these names is that they all... Were deceased. The doctor carefully went though all the pages of the file. In complete horror at the sheer amount of names on the cold,black,tablet. They all had a brief description about each of themselves... The man fixed his suit a little before talking again, clearing his throat. "...And do you want to know what that concept was...?" The ground underneath the hooves of the ponies that were occupying the space were Ark was shook with violent intensity. King Sole was a pony who almost never felt fear in his life, his power, his title, his confidence in himself made the concept of fear in him almost illogical... Yet he has never felt fear like the cold vice that gripped his very heart and soul right now. Whatever this...thing was, it was quickly producing an extreme amount of energy, The energy was almost overshadowing his power, and it was quickly escalating. Whatever this thing was...it had to be stopped... But how? "...Maybe this will give you a hint?" The man in the suit took the tablet back and touched the screen a couple times... He gave it back to Animus who was confused for a second at the picture before him... Captain America... "What does this have to do with any of the atrocities you and your people committed to Ark and these people, let alone an explanation to any of this?" Animus questioned. He was not in the mood for games. "Oh it has everything to do with this little situation we have here...can you satisfy my curiosity as to...what Captain America is?" The man said, making a circular gesture to the doctor to goad him into responding. The doctor squinted his eyes and glared at the man "forgive me if I am not current on pop culture." He said with decent amount of venom in his voice. The man laughed. "Captain America, in the comic books, was the first successful super soldier, there is really nothing more I need to say at this point." The sleek suited man said. The gears in Animus's head started to turn. "Ark...was originally a...military experiment?" The man chuckled. "It might seem cliche, but yes. It was only an idea, we didn't have the money or the intelligence to carry out this. The latter was solved when you came into the picture, the former...well that one was a game changer." Animus guessed what solved their money problems. "Let me guess... the sun?" Animus asked. The man clapped his hands once. "Bingo. Money isn't really an object when it comes to the survival of the human race, the worlds governments didn't know that Ark was originally a super soldier project, so we...withheld that information. We got our money and resources, and they got the last hope for humanity...if you can even call Ark human." The man looked at Ark and so did the doctor... Again, he was just standing there, casting a cold, emotionless stare at both of them... With those white, empty eyes... "What did you do to him?" Animus demanded to know. The man focused back to the doctor. "What 'he' was originally programmed to do, follow orders of whoever 'he' is assigned to, with no emotion to hold back 'his' reasoning. 'He' is, and should have been permanently in, command mode and right now 'he' is assigned to me, a simple reading of DNA to assign 'him' to you, and another swipe of the same DNA and a termination code, to make 'him' able to receive another assignment" The man said with ease, like completely overriding the consciousness of a human being and replacing it with a mindless, emotionless drone was a daily occurrence in his life. Animus picked up you something. "What do you mean by 'should have been permanently in'?" The doctor asked, to his sick horror he actually found a curious thirst for knowledge in this subject. "Ah, and that is where the game was changed Dr. Animus." The man said. The suited man re-positioned himself on the chair to get into a more comfortable position. "It should be pretty obvious as to why 'he' was given a conscious, you think they were just going to shoot a emotionless drone as the last hope and remnant of humanity? That is why we had to let you 'raise' 'him' into an actual human being, flaws and all, all were doing is...taking those flaws away." The man said. Trying to best explain gutting the consciousness of a person and putting back in a 'perfect' model of the human mind. The doctor scoffed. "So your trying to bring a bland, overused, 2-D personality as your example of humanity? Taking the flaws out of his being? That wouldn't really be a human...he'd be just a programmable consciousness." The doctor said. "That is a measure we have to take. 'He' has to be perfect...not just to 'get in good with the locals' as people say it nowadays...but also for the survival of 'him'...and the world 'he' is on." The man said. The doctor's eyes widened in shock as the information shook him to the core. "You didn't...you fool...please tell me you didn't." The man sighed. "We had to...it was the only way to actually make him 'immortal'" The doctor wanted to throttle the man again, but he couldn't...the information was too taxing on his old body. He sat there, eyes wide open. "...You do realize...that by trying to make him the mirror of perfection...that you gave him a flaw so great...that it could result in the destruction of another race?" The man laughs darkly. "A sick irony if there ever was one." He said. The monstrosity in the forest, before the eyes of the royal guards and one of the co-rulers of the land started to violently accelerate in it's energy production. Sole could sense the impending doom of his kingdom... His nation... His world... Explosions of energy started to randomly occur around Ark. Not because of the thing violently exploding in front of her, even though that played a big factor in her fear... It was her fathers face that scared her beyond her understanding. The fearless King Sole, proud and strong embodiment of the sun, nothing could match his power, his bravery... ... He was scared. The look on his face, even though it appeared neutral to an unsuspecting pony, couldn't hide from his daughter the fear he was feeling. His legs trembled,his hair up straight,his eyes wide. "Mages, stand thy ground and prepare to create a barrier...we have to hold this beast of when it finally...explodes." He ordered, not in the loud, traditional, Royal Canterlot Voice, but in a calm and level tone. The mage's obeyed and came forward in a line. Their horns glowing to feebly try to create a barrier around this thing. UNUSEIUM POWER CORE GOING CRITICAL! MUST REACH FINAL STATES OF FAIL-SAFE PROCEEDINGS!! The doctor slammed his fist on the table, and he looked at the man he so loathed at this moment with righteous anger. "What possessed you to use that...it was banned and made illegal throughout the entire world in a unanimous decision by the worlds governments FOR GOOD REASON." The doctor screamed to the man. "When dealing with a situation like this, law doesn't have a place to restrict, now does it?" The man said. "That substance was dubbed Unuseium because if made unstable, the substance could DESTROY THE WORLD. Are you insane!?" Animus said. "And that reason is why we must make 'him' perfect." The man countered the doctors reasoning. "To stay stable throughout the whole endeavor until the A.I programmed in his mind could safely maintain and dissipate the surge of emotions that caused the suicide of our last 23458 subjects. The Unuseium, though extremely volatile, is the only thing that can perpetually run the core. It is inside 'his' body, and hard wired into 'his' brain...if 'he' were to lose 'his' will to live like the others... the unuseium would go critical...and it would destroy both Ark...and the world 'he' is on. It was the only option out there given time we had." The man stopped his speech. "SO YOU MADE HIM INTO A LIVING,POSSIBLY PLANET DESTROYING BOMB!?" The doctor screamed. Silence... After his outburst Animus took a second to absorb the information that was given to him. The man continued. "That is also why we tried to created the perfect world to bring 'him' to, that's the reason we...'persuaded' Lauren Faust to let us...tweak some of the things in her show, not anything to do with the show itself...but sort of a... subroutine, if you will." The man said. "Subroutine-A set of instructions designed to perform a frequently used operation within a program?"" The doctor recited the definition of the word silently, too taxed by the information buzzing in his brain to speak any louder than that. The man nodded. "We would make it so that if...or when... a human, or more specifically Ark were to come into Equestria, he would be 1000% percent more likely to be accepted and that things would always work in his favor...an 'Easy Scenario' if you will. Without him, or more specifically the A.I, the subroutine would deactivate. " He explained. "So he could be further protected from the- wait you said A.I?" The doctor shifted priorities in the middle of his sentence, regaining some of the volume in his voice. The man smiled. "I knew you were a sharp one, even though I already mentioned it. Yes... an A.I....but that does not stand for Artificial Intelligence, oh no..." The man stood up and walked towards Ark and pressed into the bright circle in his chest. Out popped a little chip that the man grabbed and walked towards Animus with it clutched in his cold pale hands. Ark didn't even react... He just stared into the wall. With those white, empty eyes... He put the chip on the table and a bright light soon followed, to reveal... Animus. Shock was the only thing that perceived in the mind of the poor doctor. "We programmed this 'Animus Interface' to say and believe it is the program mimicking the 'father' of the Ark project." The man laughed "the biggest load of bull i've ever heard in my life." "But...why are you telling me all this...what could you possibly gain from telling me this information?" The man smiled, a dark smile that never meant anything good... Something was about to happen. "Mage's...form the barrier now...If anypony here has any regret's...I'm truly sorry." Sole said, activating his own magic. The mages started to empty all the magic they had into creating a barrier around Ark's body, the beam stopped shooting in the air... But then a huge explosion started to slowly envelope Ark, and the mage's all silently begged that their magic was strong enough to withhold the energy... "Why do we tell you all this?" The man put the thumb side of his fist on his chin, looking like he was pondering on the question. The man started to laugh "oh I remember now...do you really think we would let you live after divulging this information to you?" The man nonchalantly said. The doctor froze. "Ark, come here..." The man said. Ark slowly walked towards the two men. The walk was slow,impending and his shoes made the distinct sound of hard sole on cold metal. *Tho...* *Tho...* *Tho...* Soon he was upon the men and he toward over both of them. The suited man stood up. "Ark, for real this time...end this mans life...but before for you do..." The man whispered something in Ark's ear. "Acknowledged." Ark started to turn towards the doctor and raised his buster up towards his face. "How will you hide this from him when he has to leave?" Animus said softly. Tears running down his eyes and collecting in his beard. The man chuckled. "Let's just say we are very good at manipulation, and leave it at that." The man said. The buster was level with Animus's face... "Good bye...daddy." Ark said... With those white, empty eyes... *BLAOW!* The energy started to die down, the barrier strangely met no resistance. After the energy died down completely, the only thing that could be seen was the monstrosity, injured and face down in the dirt. It rose to it's knees, and looked at the group that witnessed the death of innocence... And it was staring at them... With those white, empty eyes...
