I was hungry. Mom really knows how to cook. Well one of them. "five more minutes please sugar cube" she never wants to sleep "Come on is mom get up is rainbow getting to you or something because you've been sleeping a lot and were both hungry" she just won't wake up will she. "Ask rainbow to make breakfast I'm sleeping it's my day of." "It's lunchtime. And she can't cook." I've got a point and you can't argue with that. "Fine i'll get up but only cause..." Then you shoot straight up. "Lunch time? If its lunch time she should have fed you something. RAINBOW!!!! GET IN HERE!!!!" I hear noises outside of the door. Rainbow knows she's in trouble. I giggle. "Yeah, Applejack, you need something?" You can hear the nervousness in her voice. She may be fearless but mom brings out the real her and that's why they love each other. Well one of the reasons. "Rainbow it's lunchtime and she hasn't eaten anything and why am I still in bed?" Confusion and anger. But you can hear the anger going away. They can't stay mad at each other. Their so cute. Not in that way though. "Well… I can't cook and you looked so peaceful I just couldn't wake you up." Grinning but not a mean grin a grin that says ‘please don't kick me down to the couch’. I love you but I'm hopeless. That kind of grin. Oh, and puppy dog eyes. She knows what she's doing. Mom always fall for them. "Don't give me puppy dog eye, Rainbow you could at least brought her to Sugar Cube Corner. Ok, now come here, you know I can't stay mad at you." Rainbows face lights up like well it lights up, let's leave it at that. "Mom, Rainbow I'm gonna go down stairs now and wait?" "Yeah ok see you downstairs in a minute." Me and rainbow switch spots me at the door and her over the bed. I'm starting to wonder what they do when I'm not around. mainly cause rainbow has a evil look in her eyes and mom has a confused but happy look. "Yeah ok." I close the door and go down stairs. Well curiosity gets the better ok me. I fly up the stairs and as quietly as I can I land in front of the door. My ear on the door and I listen. •*•*•*•*•*•*•* My name is scarlet apple. My parents are Applejack and Rainbow Dash. They are honesty and loyalty of the six elements of harmony. We live at sweet apple acres outside of, ponyville where the rest of the elements live. Twilight Sparkle is the element of magic and used magic to allow my parents to give birth to me. The spell messed up so you properly think I'm a Pegasus. Wrong I'm an earth pony and Pegasus. Well and a unicorn because Twilight over powered the amount of magic in the spell and so I'm all three. I'm in school this year and (apple family tradition, started by moms little sister Applebloom) a Cutie Mark Crusader. Me and my friend Lilly Field, Snow Wake, and Cherry Spring are now the youngest crusaders as Scootaloo Sweetie Belle and Applebloom are like group leaders. The only one of the not to get their cutie mark (this is funny cause in my opinion she wanted it most out of the three. I mean she even got cutie pox to try to get hers.) Applebloom doesn't have one. Scootaloo's special talent is, how do i explain this, its like acrobatics. Doing daredevil stunts on her scooter and dancing. Kind of like that. Some cutie marks you just can't explain. Sweetie Belle's is so much similar. her special talent is singing. Now back to my home life. The only ponies that know about my parents every dating are Twilight, the Apple family, and the 2 princess, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. I used to call both my parents mom but it got confusing so (since Rainbow thought ‘mom’ was to lame for her i only call Applejack mom. She doesn't mind at all.) •*•*•*•*•*•*•* “Oh come on Applejack what about Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie? They should know too.” Who? “I know rainbow but what if they're scared of her or don't like us any more about it? I wouldn't be able to take. What if the elements don't work? Or Rarity flips out and goes all ‘Oh i have to make you matching bracelets and oh matching dresses!!!! Orrrr, i could make you matching everything’ I really wouldn't be able to take it.” Is mom crying? Wait Rarity?, I know who she is, shes Sweetie Belles older sister AND... The element of generosity. “IDEA!!!!” OOps i think i just yelled that. Anyway. “Bye mom bye Rainbow i'm gonna go into town now.” Probably not the best thing to say. They don't like me going into town cause i can't control my powers very well AT ALL!!!! “Did she just....” “Yep!” “We should probably...” “Yep!” “Lets go...” •*•*•*•*•*•*•* I JUST LOVE FLYING!!!! I don't really know where i'm going because the only place i've ever been to in ponyville is Twilight's Library for ‘Check ups’. I remember them mentioning Rarity and ‘Making dress and stuff’ so i'm gonna go to a dressmaker's place? CAROUSEL BOUTIQUE!!!! Yeah, that sounds right. Knock knock knock.... “Coming!” She has an annoying-ish accent “Um? Who are you I dont think ive seen you before? Would you like to come in?” “Yep!’ I hurry inside and jump on a couch. “Your Rarity, right?” “Um... Yes! Why do you ask?” Remember mom and Rainbow seemed really upset about telling them so i should probably lay this down lightly. “Do you know mo....... Applejack and Rainbow Dash?” Smooth. Mental eye roll. “Yes, why do you ask?” “I'm doing this for them so.... how do i say this? Would be easier to just tell them all or one at a time? Um...um...um!!!” Now i look like a idiot. “Could you go to Twilight's library i have something important to tell you about Applejack and Rainbow Dash!” Well time to run. I'll wait for her to say something first. But if she starts asking a whole bunch of questions i'm out. “Important?” Well i guess i could just say something that is a reasonable question. “Wait... let me look at you for a second.” Not even offering just stating, sheesh. “Blonde, but with rainbow streaks. Orange coat. Magenta eyes. Wings but strong back legs. hummmm.” Oh know she gonna figure it out. “What's your name sweetie?” Oh Twilight said thats sound just like a name Mom and Rainbow would come up with. “Skarlet Apple. And i got to go. BYEeeeee” and i'm out the door maybe i should just tell them to go there for mom and Rainbow then bolt. Yeah thats better idea then letting them scop me out and figured it out on their own. Next up Fluttershy. Knock knock knock............. “Yes, hello?” They mentioned her being really shy so i should be super kind to her. “Oh, um, your Fluttershy right?” Ok put it out lets see if she actually lets me in or something. “Yes, why?” Oh this going to take forever. “Um... could i come in i have something i would like to ask you to attend for Applejack and Rainbow Dash.” And now she opens the door. “NOOOO FLUTTERSHY DON'T OPEN THE DOOR!!!!!” Oh no Rainbow. “Just go to Twilight library. Ok? Ok, see you there. Bye!” I bolt. As Rainbows and Applejacks kid i'm surprisingly fast and strong with A LOT of determination. Since i'm small and clever Rainbow can't catch me easy. “RAINBOW I NEED TO DO THIS! I'M DOING IT FOR YOU AND MOM! PLEASE PRETEND TO LOSE ME!” “NNNOOO! IF YOU CARE ABOUT EITHER OF US YOU WON'T DO THIS YOU SAW HOW MUCH THIS MADE YOUR MOM CRY! PLUS WE HAVE A PLAN! WERE GOING TO TELL THEM THROUGH WEDDING INVITES A FEW MONTHS IF APPLEJACK SAYS YES! Oh i probably shouldn't be yelling that.” She stopped my chance. Theres sugar cube corner. I dive down and into the window of the strangest bedroom ever. Pink walls, floors, ceiling, PINK EVERYTHING!!!! The walls have blue and yellow polka dots on them, and so do the pink bed sheets. In one corner are the-most-you-could-ever dream-of-seeing amount of party supplies like streamers and balloons. In anther are various pictures. A Surprising amount with Rainbow in them. Ponies in pony ponyville and the groups adventures. In each and every one all of the ponies are smiling. “OK!’ Awkward silence. “Well lets go find Pinkie Pie.” ^Down stairs^ “Oh, you're new I dont think ive seen you before. What's your name? Oh or do you you want a cup cake? Ya know, you look alot like my friends Rainbow Dash and Applejack. I could call the Appledash, oh or Dashapple. How it would be so so so so so so so extra super duper over the top awesome.” “Um... My names.....” “Oh, I know who you are.” She looks evil. From What mom and Rainbow said thats impossible. “Your Skarlet Apple aren't you?” All i do is node. What else? “Let me guess?” I node again. Her happiness coming back. “Oh i love guessing games. Ok ok, you want a cupcake?” I node again. I really do. “Oh i thought it would be more interesting! Oh well.” “Wait Pinkie Pie right?” Stupid question time. This time she nodes. “Ok good. Ok, I do want a cupcake because they are SO awesome. But thats not the answer.” She bolts out then back in faster than Rainbow can fly at top speed. “Yeah more guessing games. Ok. Hmmmmm. Oh i know. Applejack and Dashie started going out. They decided to have a kid, so Twilight used her magic to make it happen but the spell went wrong. You, their kid, turned out to be a Uniearthus. Applejack is pregnant and bedridden with a second child. You're going around gathering up all of the elements of harmony to tell them and tell them your master plan so your parents don't have to be afraid?” All i do is stare. My parents said she was random and clever but that was down right impossible. “I WAS RIGHT!!!’ She starts hopping around saying ‘I right’ over and over again. “Wait mom isn't bedridden.” “Right now she is though.” Then she stops hopping and her mane goes flat. Mom said that means shes really up set. Then she gets onto the ground and covers her head with her hooves. “Pinkie are you ok?” I look at her then take a bit of the cupcake and realize why shes doing it. I turn around and have a full blown allergic reaction causing my magic to crazy. Thats when Rainbow bolts through the door and realizes what's going-ish. “Pinkie.” She starts to start yelling over my magic explosions. “WHAT DID YOU GIVE HER?” “I'M SORRY DASH I THOUGHT SHE MIGHT LIKE THE RAINBOW CUPCAKE I CAME UP WITH FOR YOU!” “RAINBOW CUPCAKE! Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. SKARLET ITS GONNA BE OK! CALM DOWN ITS OK!” “It hurts. Help me please. AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I can't hold it any more, I burst into flames. There not hot! They englof sugar cube corner and lift it up when i flap my wings. Rainbows are so spicy. I feel something wrap around me and hold me close. I open my eyes and find Rainbow holding me. “PINKIE GET WATER!!!! Shhh, its ok the pain will be over soon. Its ok calm down and put Pinkie, me, and Sugar Cube Corner back on the ground.” I node. Pinkie holds up a glass and Rainbow flies down to take it. She hands it to me and i gulp it down, again and again i gulp down water to sooth the burning. •*•*•*•*•*•*•* When were all on the ground again i break down in my moms arms. I hate it when i loose control. And Applejacks bedridden? “Pinkie what you said about mom what did you mean?” “Oh. That its coming.” I jolt up and pin Rainbow down. “Was mom out looking for me or was it just you?” Shes looks so confused. “Um... she was out with me. Why?” She can see my worry “WHERE IS SHE? TELL ME NOW!!!” Rainbow still confused, pieces it together and jumps out from under me. “She was going to look around where my old house was.” She dashes of so fast the sonic rainboom couldn't even catch up. I look at Pinkie. “Grab Towels and get Twilight and Rarity. Actually Get Fluttershy too And go to Rainbows old house. Go to Twilights first though you should find them all there.” Then i dash off but not quite as fast as my mom. When i see the houses i start hearing the most painful cries possible. So i go up and land near them. “Mommy. What's going why are to crying?’ “It hurts so much” “I can't stand to see her in so much pain.” Its so sad to see them like this. In the middle of the dirt road crying and yelling as my mom gives birth to my little something or other. “The others should be hear soon to help. You have to stop running from them. I met them they like me. And they all looked excited to hear the news.” I smile but its readable i'm don't look happy. Rainbow knows why but Applejack is clueless. “We’re here we’re here.” Pinkie collapses her infinident energy has run out. She still come over to comfort Applejack though you can tell the lack of smiles is getting to her. “Rarity Fluttershy comfort her i wi....” Rainbow cuts her off. “NO! I got this. You guys make sure they are both ok after this. Twilight You do whatever it takes. Rarity you try any kind of pain killing spell. Fluttershy Get your animals to sing something comforting we're all going to need it. Pinkie Skarlet you two help Twilight. GO NOW!!!!” If anyone said anything it was drained out but moms occasional scream in pain. No spell can truly stop it, but Rarity was trying her best to dull it. Twilight was scrambling around barking orders at me and Pinkie. Her pain still flat from the sounds of moms pain. Then we hear it the most soothing sound you could think of at that moment. Thousands and thousands of birds all singing one song. Only one word could describe it, beautiful. Applejack smiled knowing her friend understand. A pure memory. Even with the screams of pain and the yelling it's a beautiful memory. The screaming stops to be replaced by crying. Applejack and Rainbow couldn't look more happy. Rarity collapsed on Twilights sholder both cleaning the newborn. Pinkie is hopping around her mane couldn't be more puffy. Fluttershy bring her birds closer to put the foal to sleep and its working. The crying dies down and the foal is handed to Applejack while Rainbow lets out a huge sigh and looks down at her again smiling. “Its a filly!” Twilight says both relieved and excited that her spell didn't go horribly wrong this time. Well not horribly wrong. Thats when i see them sitting there so happy together it happens...
