“Well, Big Mac, I think I'm done here." Caramel trotted off, to start his afternoon job.
"Wait." Big Mac stopped him. "Ain't ya gonna see mah sis' like ya always do?"
"Oh, yeah.. heh heh." Caramel hated to admit it, but he had a huge crush on Big Macintosh's sister, Applejack. He loved the way she was honest, a required skill for Caramel. Respectivley enough, she was the element of honesty, which Caramel was rather proud of, considering he always pictured himself with her one day.”
“There she is, that beautiful mare." Caramel thought. Although it wasn't completley obvious, he still made some hints every now and then by offering help to her, or making pies with her, or things like that. And, proudly, he considered himself loyal to her, as he was the only pony to not want Flim and Flam's cider when they were trying to sell it, after challenging the Apples to a cider contest.
"There's no reason for her to say no." Caramel thought. "All it is is a simple 'would you go out with me?' Not too much of a big deal." Caramel trotted over to her.
"Hey, AJ." He said, casually.
"Hiya, Caramel!" Applejack seemed more excited than usual to see him.
"Got anything I can do for ya? I mean, usually you got something to do."
"Yep, actually." Applejack said.
"Man, her mane... so shiny this afternoon.." Caramel thought.
"So, you could help me out with a little something." AJ said.
"Sure, but.. I gotta go to the hay pail first..." Caramel was a little embarrased.
Applejack giggled. "Sure, sugarcube."
Caramel raced over to the farmhouse, but didn't go to the restroom. Instead, he went upstairs and peeked out a window.
"This is just what Lucky recommended. Just peek, but don't be a perv." Caramel thought.
Then a gray stallion walked up to “Applejack. He had a very dark gray mane with a three-clover cutie mark.
"Oh no.." Caramel whispered to himself.
The stallion walked up to AJ and handed her a small apple pie in the shape of a heart.
"Oh no!" Caramel said. He jumped up and yelled in his head,
"LUCKY YOU JERK!”
“I made it for you." Lucky said, as he handed her the pie.
"uh- thanks, Ah' guess." Appejack responded, although she really didn't feel too thankful. "I-it looks..."
"You don't like it?"
"Well, no, it's fine, I-"
"Your the element of Honesty, tell me the truth."
"A-Ah have mah' eyes on somepony else."
"You do realie your terrible at lying, don't you?"
"Ah'm serious!"
"Yeah, wahtever. Your just hiding your feelings."
Lucky then trotted away.
“I'm back." Caramel said, pretending he never seen what just happened. "AJ, you okay? You look kinda down."
"ah'm fine." She said. "J-Just a lil' tuckered out, ya' know?"
"Yeah. I know." Caramel said. "Hey, so you wanted me to do somethin' for you?"
"A-Actually, Ah think I can handle it on mah' own. See ya' next week."
"See ya'." As Caramel trotted off, Applebloom stomped past Applejack.
"somethin' botherin' ya, sis?" Applejack asked.
"Two words. Diamond. Tiara." Aplebloom stomped up to her room in a huff.
"She needs somethin' to cheer up her day." Applejack said to herself. Then she looked at the apple pie. "Hmm.."
"Hey, Applebloom! Featherweight wanted me to give this to ya'!”
