everyone has dark secrets. A little envy, greed, etc. But sometimes these emotions and dark secrets fester, and become something unholy. The regrets and sins of a thousand years can sometimes cause great weight upon any leaders mind. (I will also include Dr. Whooves in this. but he's not a main character in this, Only Celestia and Luna are.)
