Earth. Once one of the greatest planets in the entirety of the former United Human Federation, now a wasteland with a small smattering of survivors in hidden bases. The Atraksi, an insectoid race, have systematically hunted down the remaining survivors in search of stolen technology.

Technology which could prove beneficial to humanity: an Atraksi Warp Gate conduit, a device capable of rending time and space to create a portal, a gateway into another world.
