(1) The Woman in the Caverns
I sat alone in the dark caves I visited so often, the only light was from the various bioluminescent creatures that called this place home and it was poor light indeed. I cried softly and was totally unable to stop because my life had gone straight to hell since I met my now ex-girlfriend and you know what the worst part was, today is my birthday. Thats right, on this day, twenty-one years ago, I was a little infant child, just born.
The day had started out fine, I'd woken up, made breakfast, told my girlfriend I love her, and heading to work, It was later that my problems had sprung up. I'd planned to come home early to surprise my girlfriend, take her out to a fancy eatery, and hopefully, pop the question to her. I'd driven to the jewelry store and bought the most beautiful ring I could on my budget, and headed home, ring tucked away safely, but when I got home and opened the door, crushing despair, well, crushed me.
I saw my girlfriend screaming her head off on the coach and my best friend on top of her, but she was smiling which gave away the situation. She caught sight of me and began to freak out, crying I was early and my best friend getting off of her and pushing past me and running down the street. She stood and began to quickly apologize and cry about just how sorry she was.
I just starred at her with unforgiving eyes, she stood and began to walk towards me and thats when I snatched the ring in its little velvet box and threw it at her, and it hit her square in the forehead. She cried out in astonishment and clutched her forehead and I just stood there til she saw what I threw. She picked up the box and opened it and gasped at the ring and she began to cry, realizing how devoted I was to her. She walked towards me, but I ran out the door and quickly as possible, jumped in the car and drove off. I looked back and saw her standing in the middle of the street, completely naked and crying, I just kept driving and headed towards the place where I could cry in peace.
Thats why i'm sitting in the middle of a dark cave, sobbing my eyes out and trying to comprehend the massive betrayal i'd just suffered. Over the sound of my sobs I heard the distinct click of something, at first I thought it was bats, but I realized it was different and figured out it was the clicking of high heels. I turned and grabbed for my lantern, it was a very strong light and it would illuminate the whole chamber. I pressed the button that turned on the electric lantern and I saw an old looking women wearing a beautiful white dress with white hair of the same hue.
"I thought I heard crying in here" she said and approached me "Is everything alright?", sitting down in front of me. "Who are you?" I managed to say through the sobbing and she reached over and placed a gentle hand on my shoulder "I'm just an old woman who cares about those who are suffering" she said with a gentle smile, convincing me she meant what she said. "Where to start" I said, no longer sobbing, but still crying "Well, first off, I got together with the most perfect girl, but my parents didn't think so and they practically disowned me and I just found out my girlfriend was cheating on me with my best friend" I finished quickly and panted trying to catch my breath from the hasty explanation meanwhile, the old women looked deep in thought.
"so, she screwed you over, i'm sorry" she said and patted my shoulder and began making soothing noises one might make to a cat or other pet. "And I planned on proposing tonight, but that clearly went horribly" I muttered and I started crying again. "Its alright sweety" she said and stood "Tell you what, I could give you a fresh start somewhere new and amazing and you won't have to pay me a single penny" she said and at this, I looked up and I saw the sweetest smile i'd ever seen.
I didn't even consider "Hell yeah!" I yelled and the woman started smiling "Good, now then" she said and suddenly grabbed me with a grip that she should never have possessed. I screamed and the woman threw me to the ground and knocking me out. The last thing I saw was the woman turn into some kind of spider centaur and begin to wrap me in silk. All I can say about it was it was absolutely terrifying and I wished i'd given her offer a bit of thought.

Hello dear reader and I bid thy a greeting from Equestria, let me get this out of the way, I used to be a human, but thats the past and now i'm... this thing.
I'm not sure what I am, but its pretty cool. Anyway, I have a good life here and its all very good, hold on a second, my mates calling me...
Alright i'm back, she needed to ask what I was doing, but whatever, anyway, I'm pretty cool looking any I know plenty who would agree with me. oh and we live in a cave, the cave is nice and I've always loved caves and luckily my mate feels the same or else we'd be somewhere else, but still.
