Fluttershy's Embrace

It was early morning, the sun was shining through the window and just enough light was there to wake Fluttershy. The smell of food filled the house, but it smelled... Different. Fluttershy smelled cooking flesh and bacon. She dashes down the stairs and finds Crimson munching on a piece of cooked flesh, rabbit from the smell. She noticed Fluttershy and smiled.

"Good morning sleepy head"

Fluttershy blinked a couple times, curious as to why she wasn't freaking out, and is that rabbit in her mouth?

"G-good morning, what is that in your mouth?" Shy stuttered.

"Rabbit, want a piece?" Crimson simply smiled holding out a piece of grilled rabbit. She couldn't resist and snatched it up and shoved it in her mouth, much to Crimson's surprise.

"Woah, didn't know you love rabbit, I guess I will have to cook it more often for you." Crimson simply smiled turning her head slightly as she finished cooking three more pieces.

"So, how long are you going to need to stay here?" Shy asked curiously.

"Well, I was actually going to ask you that. May I live here with you?" She simply asked as she placed more rabbit on the pan, a sizzling sound emanating from the pan.

Fluttershy stared at her with a confused look, "Umm... Sure?" She walked towards the mare slowly and hugged her "Thank you."

"For what?" Crimson looked back at the now teary eyed Fluttershy.

"For actually doing any of this," She sniffled "I have never been treated this way, ever since... Ever since he came around, I have been left pretty much alone on my own. I can't believe-" She was cut off by Crimson placing her hoof to Fluttershy's mouth.

"You are always going to be cared about by me, you had taken me in when nopony else would. That means the world to me 'Shy. I really do enjoy your company." As she said this she smiled softly and nuzzled Fluttershy as her face flushed "That means the world to me, Even Luna would be happy at this." She continued to smile as she pulled away.

"I... Uh... Th-thanks Crimson. It means a lot to me, and I am happy to have found you." She smiled as she pulled Crimson into a tight hug, holding crimson as she smiled, returning the hug.

"I have never been so touched, to be held by somepony as you, I feel like I'm home. I feel loved and cared for all the time with you." She smiled and looked back at the stove, taking the last of the rabbit off the stove. "Breakfast is ready, shall we eat now dear?"

Fluttershy caught off guard by the statement caused her to blush and smile "Let's, but I must ask you something."

"Anything 'Shy" Crimson said smiling happily.

"What exactly are you? Nopony actually eats meat willingly, I took a long time to adjust to it, so what exactly are you?"

"Lycan, Demon, Pony... I know, I shouldn't be straight forward but I trust and care about you so you deserve to know." She smiled sheepishly expecting the yellow and pink maned mare to freak out.

Fluttershy smiles and hugs Crimson tighter, unusual for the yellow mare "Well that makes me feel better!"

"It does?" Crimson asked clearly confused.

"OF COURSE IT DOES!" Fluttershy smiled happily, "That means I don't have to hide anything from you!" the yellow mare grabbed Crimson's hoof and pulled her over to the shed door, the smell still of burning flesh fresh in the air.

"What is that smell?" Crimson asked, waving a hoof in her face.

"Sorry, I forgot to air out the room... I had somepony nosing around, now they are nosing the ground" Fluttershy couldn't help but giggle at her play on her words.

"So... Melting or burning flesh" Crimson deadpanned.

"...Yea..." Flutershy stated seeming worried.

The young mare simply giggled and looked around "So, you aren't so shy after all?"

"I-I guess not..." She stated meekly

"Interesting... So why do you still act it?" Crimson couldn't help it, she made the cutest face she could, causing her pupils to dilate and she put on a small smile. This caused Fluttershy to laugh uncontrollably and fall over. Upon reaching the ground, the wind was knocked out of her and she got back up, giggling softly in between coughs.

"I guess, I guess I just want to keep something that used to be me." She shrugged, as if that were the obvious answer.

"So, you miss being shy?" Crimson smirked.

"Should I not miss it?" Fluttershy countered.

Completely taken off guard at this, she looked to the ground and around the room. "I guess you should miss it. Seeing as you were probably cuter when you were shy." She giggled as Fluttershy's face flushed and a smile was plastered on her face.

"Oh? Well I guess I could play it around you more often then yes?" 'Shy smiled coyly at Crimson, this time triggering the younger mares blushing and smiling as she tried to hide behind her wing

"So, how exactly did you end up at my house again Crimson?" 'Shy asked curiously "I am not so sure you told me." If Fluttershy was told, she certainly did not remember, or she just wanted an excuse to hear the mare talk more, either way. She loved every time she heard the younger mare's smooth voice reverberate her to the very core.

"Well... I was actually in quite the fight... And I was losing fast. So I decided I should try to run, but when I got near your house, they vanished. I wasn't sure as to why they did... But they seemed terrified of the house, and now I am here with you~" She seemed to have purred at the end of her statement as she nuzzled against 'Shy. The older mare let out a small eep at the touch of Crimson, so bold, why wasn't this mare afraid of her in the least?

"You really make me happy 'Shy," The younger mare announced as if answering her thoughts "I feel so cozy around you I could stay like this forever." Forever, that's what caught her attention, causing 'Shy to blush like a mad mare.

"Oh stop Crimson you're just a kidder" She said, half hoping she was just kidding, the other side of her yearning to hear it was truly real and the feeling wasn't going to dissipate easy.

"Of course you know I mean the truth don't you? I wouldn't say I don't enjoy you, I would be lying~" This statement sent chills up 'Shy's spine and her face, failing to repress the growing blush, caused her to giggle uncontrollably.

"Quiet you!" Was all she could manage before she smiled widely, expressing her clear enjoyment.

Crimson simply smiled and growled, startling Fluttershy a little.

"Oh... Did I scare you? I am so sorry 'Shy!" She wrapped her friend in a tight embrace, sniffling "I'm sorry..."

"I-It's fine Crimson dear, I was just shooken up a little, it's nothing. I just didn't expect it to sound so... Wolf-like..."

Crimson flinched as Shy had said wolf. Causing her to seem to shrink away as she released her friend and lay nearer to a corner.

"What's wrong Crimson?" Shy asked genuinely concerned for her new friend.

"Th-There's something I need to tell you..." Crimson stammered, she seemed much more vulnerable and scared of every motion that Shy had made.

"Well? What is it? You can tell me anything Crimson, I will think no less of you." Shy stated matter-of-factually.

"I... I'm not exactly a normal pony..." Crimson muttered. Shy flew over to Crimson and nuzzled her softly.

"Of course you aren't, you are a wonderf-" She was cut off short of her statement.

"I'm a werepony... And I tend to have a lot of my 'wolf' traits even outside of the actual form..."

"Well that's new... Cool, but new." Shy smiled and lifted Crimson's face to look her in the eyes. "I still care about you Crimson, I love that you are honest with me, even when you don't have to be."

"But, I feel that you of all ponies deserve to know about my... Condition..." She sighed "I hope this doesn't ruin my chances"

Fluttershy smiled softly, not quite getting what Crimson meant "What do you me- Oh..." Her face was now entirely beet red as she giggled.

"Trust me dear, you didn't."
