Mac was standing in Dari's kitchen. He was almost pink, a strange thing to happen to a red stallion.
[color= orange] I just tried to kiss the royal son of Princess-bucking-Luna! What am I gonna do? I'm getting sent to the Moon aren't I?
[color= orange] No... no... that wouldn't work this is Luna not Celestia... The Sun? The Stallion in the Sun...
[color= orange] Eeyup sounds about right. What's he gonna do? Is he gonna tell me more? Is he gonna just send me out the door? Uhm... what do I say? I wait. Eeyup I'll wait.

Dari was shaking, he had a glass of what looked like that drink Berry Punch is always drinking, but it's almost clear
instead, with a cherry and lemon wedge in it too.
[color= pink] He's gonna go isn't he. I better explain...
[color= purple] "Yeah... uh well wow. I didn't expect to ever tell somepony about me. Let alone one who's name I don't know..."
[color= red] "Big Macintosh, but ponies call me Mac"
He said, knowing it was fair to answer.
[color= red] "How do you know that Slenderpony?"
He tilted his head, returning to his general pokerface.
Dari's face went white.
[color= pink] Uh oh...
[color= purple] "I better start from the beginning."

[color= purple] "I was born over a thousand and nineteen years ago..."

[color= red] "Y'wait what?!"
Dari sighed, as Mac
[color= purple] "Just let me explain."

[color= purple] "So, as I was saying, I was born over a thousand years ago. At this point, Canterlot was not very safe. There were many wars, and I could tell there was hostility between my mother and aunty Celestia.
[color= purple] As you may know, ~~Mommy. Sorry!~~ LUNA, is not the most liked mare. Nor was she back then.
[color= purple] A few years after I was born ~~my mother~~ LUNA was corrupted by the entity Nightmare Moon. You may've heard of her. Well I was sent away, so I couldn't be corrupted. I got a lot of hate... My first boyfriend was attacked and he blanked me completely after two weeks of abuse... I haven't been near another pony since. He hit me badly... I just can't trust... I'm sorry. "

Dari looked down into his glass, taking a nervous sip, Mac had gone and sat onto one of the chars he has by the fridge.
Dari sighed.
[color= pink] He must think I'm so pathetic, stood here like an idiot telling my life's story...
[color= orange] He must think I'm so stupid, sat here like a dummy nodding along...
Mac looked towards the ground glumly before glancing back up to the desperately lonely stallion peering into his drink like it could take all his troubles away.

[color= purple] "I knew about Nightmare Moon, and how she was raising an army. I never hated my aunt for what she had to do. I know how much it hurt. That's a problem all Alicorns must bear, I can feel all of our emotions. It's what makes us so strong."
[color= purple] "I was playing in the gardens when it happened, I was looking after the flowers and practicing Magic. I tried to move but my hooves turned cold and heavy, they went darker until they were grey. Suddenly a dark light shot up towards my mother's Moon. And the feeling rushed along my forelegs... It was terrible, I tried to fly off but my hooves were firmly stuck in the ground, I looked up to see if I could release myself using Magic but no, it didn't work. I was turning to stone. It was horrible, I didn't have much longer. The cold was rushing up my neck, and as it reached my ear I cried out... My ex was bitten part off. I shed a tear, I hated the world but... it didn't mean I wanted to leave!"

He almost started crying, he stamped his hoof on the ground.
[color= pink] Th... th... this is hard...
Mac gave out a sniffle. Dari wipes his face with his free hoof.
[color= pink] Don't cry. Laughter can't cry. Stop. Stop before I shout at you.
[color= pink Don't cry. Night can't cry. Night is strong. Stop.
He turned, looking down to the glass, now placed onto the counter.
His hair flicked infront of his face.

[color= purple] "I could see and hear everything around me. I could feel my mother cry. I saw Celestia each morning walk down to see me. She did know this would happen. She didn't tell me. I was upset for a day. But I couldn't be angry. I watched day after day, for a thousand years... then one day, I heard some Pegasi speaking of a little purple unicorn who had freed my mother. You may've heard of her... miss Twilight Sparkle?

[color= red] "Eeyup..."
Mac looked again towards the floor distantly.
Dari took this as a sign and asked no further.

[color= purple] "Once I was freed I ran away, I knew it couldn't end well if I stayed in Canterlot. I was told to go into the Canterlot gardens by Celestia that day, I didn't know why until 600 years ago.

Mac walked up to Dari and nuzzled his neck.
[color= red] "It's ok sugar, Ah understand."
[color= purple] "Th-thank you Mac."
Mac pressed his hoof onto the Alicorn's shoulder and Dari turned around.

Dari's eyes locked against his again.
Mac blushed, Dari's eyes were wide, and bright.
There were three tears streaming down his muzzle.
His eyes were bright pink, although they seemed more gray several minutes beforehand.

Mac smiled at him, he stood on his hind-legs and held Dari loosely.
Dari's wings were half out, his horn glowed dimly, suspending his glass ten or so centimeters from the counter.
Their cheeks flushed.
Dari batted his eyelids.
His wings were straightening.
He blushing heavily.
Mac giggled slightly at this.
[color= orange] Oh hay why am I doing this?
Mac stepped closer, pressing their bodies against each other.
Dari leaned forward.
[color= pink] Oh dear what am I doing?
Their lips met lightly.
