A Pony's guide to Survival
~~Twilight~~
"Ugh... My head..." Twilight rubbed her temples, an awful migraine starting pounding in her skull. When she opened her eyes she noticed something very wrong. For one she was outside, not in her bed. And two-
"Where the heck am I? ugh..."
She had no clue where she is. Looking around she notices she's on an outcropping of rock, the sun worming the stone.
"Where am I?" She asks herself again. "Why am I here? Last I remember I was helping Pin- ohhhh."
Thats when she remembered what had happened to her. After helping Pinkie Pie with cleaning up a surprise party, she had cast a teleportation spell forgetting two of the gifts she had received. A amplifying necklace Luna gave her and a Friendship link Celestia had given her. Meaning...
"The amplifying spell overworked it and in my exhausted frame of mind I used too much magic but the friendship link. Oh no, That means all the other girls are in this mess too!"
Looking down she saw she was high. Very high if the clouds below her were the kind she thought they were. Thank Celestia she was an alicorn or else she might not be able to even breath!
~~Fluttershy~~
"Mmmmm" Fluttershy mumbled rubbing her face against the cloud underneath her. She curled into a little ball, her wings stretching then cocooning around her body. Snuggling into the surface of the cloud Fluttershy made a little nest.
Oh my. I haven't felt this nice sense I left Cloudsdale on that... picnic...
Cloudsdale, Picnic?!?!
Fluttershy shot straight up and gasped. Looking around her all she could see was cloud cover. Endless white clouds with no break between them.
"Oh no, where am I? I have to- oof!" A small cry left her mouth as she tried to dive through the clouds finding it soft but completely solid.
"Why... why can't I get through?" Fluttershy was panicking, when a small memory of her and Rainbow Dash surfaced in her mind.
"Yeah I could totally cross the Sapphire Sea. My dad took me there for a picnic not too long ago. It miles away but theres a magic that makes it so you can't go through the clouds." Rainbow was talking as they walked to the spa Rarity finally convinced Rainbow to go to. "Wait, clouds? I thought the Sapphire Sea was an ocean? " Twilight asked as she walked up behind them. "Naw," Rainbow answeared. "It's miles and miles of clouds OVER an ocean. Hundreds of thousands of miles of endless white clouds.
Fluttershy broke down right there, nestling into her nest she made and sobbed, trapped in the Sapphire Sea.
~~Rarity~~
"Ugh, this is disgusting!" Rarity lifted a slime covered hoof out of the mud trying to climbed up onto the raft she made herself.
"Absolutely horrid. However did I end up in a swamp?"
Rarity had woken up covered in mud from horn to hoof not even ten minutes before.
"I swear, somepony has some exlaining to do!"
Rarity finally managed to climb up on the raft of branches she pruned from the trees, good solid branches mind you.
"And..." She continued only to stop as her eyes fell upon a flower floating beside her.
"Hold on a moment is that an EVERLILY? That means I'm in the... oh no..."
Rarity's wide eyes took on a look of horror as she gazed upon the beautiful flower.
"The Dragonsalt Swamp" she whispered from her raft. This was going to be very bad.
~~Rainbow Dash~~
"Ow, my head." Rainbow Dash's voice echoed in the darkness. "Where the hey am I? Ga!" A large thumb resounded.
"Ugh, this is getting annoying" She grumbled. She had stood up and tried to fly but conked her skull against the ceiling, then she had tripped over something.
"Alright Rainbow Dash, you've been through worse let's just get out of here."
Easier said then done. She prodded the thing she had tripped over with a hoof. After a metallic tang she explored the whole thing.
"OK lets see, wheels, made of metal blah, blah, blah... why does this seem familiar? Hmm aha! This is like the things the Diamond Dogs used for there gems!... wait a minute... I'm in a Diamond Dog mine? But because it's dark..." Rainbow was thinking out loud, not something she always did but when she was alone she didn't care.
"Uh oh."
Then again being as claustrophobic as she was being trapped in a dank, pitch black, abandoned, Diamond Dog mine probably miles underground didn't help her in the slightest.
~~Pinkie Pie~~
"Yippee!" Pinkie Pie bounced around. "This is so cool, I'm lost on a deserted Island!... Oh."
Realization hit the pink mare and she stopped bouncing. That means I don't have anybody to talk too, and I'm lost. No Pinkie, She scolded herself.There is no reason to get down. It'll all turn out alright you'll see.
A rumble shook the ground and Pinkie looked up at the deceivingly calm mountain, a few wisps of smoke lazily floated up from the top. "Uh oh" Her back hooves gave a bad jerk inwards, forcing her to sit. Turning her blue eyes up she said in a calm voice; "Volcano."
~~Applejack~~
A bird flew overhead. Looking down at it's Island home it noticed an odd orange blob on the sand.
Flying down for a better look, the bird noticed a little red on the sand but more importantly a hat. Hats make great nests, so the bird picked it up and flew back to the trees.
The orange mare laid on the beach as the water lapped at her hooves.
