Southward Bound
Prologue Teaser Thing
Load Full StoryThe sun was beginning to rise over southern Equestria. The new morning light awoke the birds and silenced the nighttime insects. The rolling hills cast long shadows over the ground. On top of one of these hills, a certain pink unicorn was busy in her study. Old books and scrolls were strewn about the floor of her plain rectangular living room. The only things that consistently remained on their respective shelves were her public service commendations. Laid out on the couch was a dress she had worn for last year’s spring social. She never found the opportunity to put it away. She lay in front of her couch with her nose in a very old and interesting chronicle. The only real movements she made were to brush a piece of her black mane out of her eyes or to turn a page to the book. It was in the third to last page that she found what she was looking for.
“AHA,” She exclaimed as she read over the words. She wasted no time dragging her saddlebags out from under a pile of books and putting her prized tome inside. She strapped the bags to her back and was out the door mere moments after making her discovery. After all, it’s not every day you find a reference to the location of a long lost treasure trove.
