Chapters The Canterlot Wedding: Alternate Ending
"Hello? Where am I? What is this place?" The darkness is then magically lit up with a purple glow from Twilight's horn. She looks around and sees gems, diamonds, and crystals all around her. "Whoa! How did I get down here? The last thing I remember is being surrounded by Cadence's green fire. Wait! Why would she even do that? I knew she was evil, but I never knew she would do something like this." Twilight started looking around still thinking about what really happened. All of a sudden, on some of the crystals showed Princess Cadence's face.
"Don't tell me that you're still alive there Twilight." said Cadence. Twilight gasped. "Cadence! Why have you done this to me?" she asked angrily. "Because if I let you keep fooling around, you would most likely mess up my plans." replied the princess. "What plans?" asked Twilight. "Why, the plans I have for your brother of course." said Cadence. Twilight gasped again. "You better not do anything bad or I will kill you!" Twilight said angrily. She started charging up a deadly spell and shot it at the crystal Cadence was at. It shattered and Twilight gave a sigh of relief.
Then, Cadence appeared on another crystal and said, "You will have to catch me first." Twilight kept on shooting the deathly spell over and over and Cadence kept moving to different places over and over. Finally, when he landed a hit and after a crystal shattered, there was Princess Cadence all ragged. The started smiling but you can't say the same for Twilight. She charged towards the Princess and tackled her. "Twilight! It's me! Cadence!" said the princess. But Twilight was still frowning and charging up a deadly spell. "NO! Don't! It's me! The Cadence you know and love!" she said. Twilight stopped the spell and looked at her still frowning. "O.K. Prove that I know you." said Twilight. Cadence stood up and did something she hasn't done for a long time. She started jumping around and said, "Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake, clap your hooves and do a little shake!" Twilight smiled and hugged her old foul sitter. But then Twilight was puzzled. "Wait," she said. "It you're you, then who was on the crystals earlier?"
Evil laughter filled the room and evil Cadence showed up on another crystal. "Well that didn't go as I had hoped." she said. Twilight was cross. "Who are you?!" she asked angrily. Just then, on the crystal, there was a bright green flash and a black pony with holes and blue hair stood in her place. "Why, I am Queen Chrysalis; queen of the Changelings." "I don't care what your plan is! I will stop you!" said Twilight. Queen Chrysalis laughed and said, "Try as you might, everypony has long forgotten these caves. No pony will ever find you here. MUHAHAHAHA!" "You know, nopony still laughs like that anymore." said Twilight. "Whatever!" shouted the evil queen. Then she mysteriously disappeared as she came.
Twilight and Cadence started on their way to get out of there and stop her plans. A little ways after they started, they found an old mine cart with some old tracks. "Come in." said Twilight. "I will push the cart and we might find a way out." Cadence flew in and Twilight pushed it down the steep hill. She jumped in as it started going down. They went around in circles slowly escalating down when Twilight and Cadence gasped: there was a large gap with no tracks. 'This would mean the end of both of us,' thought Twilight, but then Cadence had an idea. "Climb on my back." she said. Twilight did just as the gap begun. Twilight started screaming and thinking she was going to die but as she saw Cadence's wings spread out she mumbled to herself, "Lucky alicorns." They flew to the other side of the gap and they saw light.
"FREEDOM!" yelled both of the girls, but then, Lyra Heartstrings, Minuette, and Twinkleshine came out of nowhere and started walking slowly towards them. "Your not going anywhere." said all three of them. Cadence said, "If their eyes are that funny green color then that must mean that they were brainwashed by Chrysalis." Then, Cadence noticed a bushel of flowers nearby. She grabbed them and waved them in front of the bridesmaids. Their eyes followed the flowers until Cadence threw them. The three girls were going crazy for it yelling, "I want it!" "Nice one Cadence!" said Twilight. The two girls were almost there to stop the wedding.
Meanwhile above ground, Derpy and Dr. Hooves were walking to the wedding together. "I am so glad we can go to the wedding together." said Derpy. "I am happy you could make it Ditzy. But remember, once we get inside, no flying. Bad stuff usually happens when you fly." "I know." said Derpy. She spread her wings out wide and said, "I am just going to get my flying out of my system. O.K. Doctor?" "Fine." he replied. "But make it quick. The wedding is about to start." Dr. Hooves walked inside while Derpy flew around. Then she crashed into a statue of Celestia. "OOF!" shouted Derpy. The front half fell off and rolled into and got stuck in a hole. In this hole was a lot of diamonds, gems, and crystals.
Back below ground, Twilight and Cadence were only a few yards away from their exit. Twilight and Cadence hear a loud "OOF!" from a pony and hear some stone break off. Then half of Celestia's statue was stuck in the hole. The girls fell backwards and waited for the dust to clear out. "Are you okay Cadence?" asked Twilight. "I'm fine Twilight." Cadence replied. When the dust settled, there was a statue of Celestia blocking the hole. "Let's just lift it out." said Twilight. They both used a levitation spell, but no matter how hard the tried, it wouldn't budge. They tried to destroy it, but that wouldn't work either. "Now what Twilight?" asked Cadence.
"Well," Twilight started, "if my studies are correct, and they are, there is only one other way out. There is a door somewhere in these caves that will take us straight to Ponyville. I think we can make it from there." "Well then. Let's go!" said Cadence cheerfully. "But," Twilight continued, "it can only be opened with a certain sword found in a pedestal somewhere in these caves." "I'm with you all the way Twilight. Let's do this!" said Cadence.

Twilight and Cadence started making their way to the bottom of the rocky hill they climbed. On their way down, Twilight asked, "So, what is your story?" Cadence turned and stared at her. "What do you mean Twilight?" she asked. "You know, how everything led up to coming down here and me finding you." "Oh. Well, it all started I guess when Shining Armor proposed to me." Just about as they were going closer and closer to the bottom of the hill they both heard a loud THUD. They turned around and saw the Celestia statue fall out of the hole.
Just as the girls were about to celebrate, the statue started sliding swiftly towards them. "RUN!" shouted Twilight. They started running, but the statue was gaining on them. Just as it looked like they would get crushed, they reached the bottom and hid behind a huge rock. The statue hit the rock hard and shattered. The girls were in such relief. "If we were hit by that, we would not have a good day." said the princess. Twilight agreed.
"You know, we could have just jumped to the side and we wouldn't have to run." said Twilight. Cadence frowned. "Are you serious?" she said. "Then again, if we did, we would most likely be severed on those sharp crystals." she continued. Then she had a huge grin wider than a slice of cantaloupe. "Wait. If the statue came down here then that means..." She looked up and the hole was open again. Cadence said, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" The girls started to dash towards the hill, but then they stopped. They got tired of running from that statue. "Let's just rest here for a few minutes and regain our energy." said Twilight. The girls lay down on the dirt and rested.
Back above ground, Derpy was worried. She started to run inside and hope no pony would notice that she did it. "I think I will just not fly anymore." she said. She started running but then crashed into Dr. Hooves. Derpy was knocked into the air towards the other half of the statue. She spread out her wings hoping it would stop her from touching it. She was about an inch away from it when she stopped. She opened her eyes and gave a sigh of relief. "Good thing I didn't touch this, otherwise this would have fallen." she said as she patted it. Then the statue fell over and blocked up the hole again. Dr. Hooves got up and saw the statue that had fallen. "What is this?" he said sternly. Derpy blushed in embarresment.
Twilight and Cadence were making their way to the top of the hill again when they heard the sound of rolling stone. Dust flew everywhere and when it cleared, the other half of Celestias statue was stuck in the hole again. "Aw come on!" yelled Twilight in rage. Cadence sighed. "I guess we still have to find that sword." she said sadly. Twilight and Cadence started making their way down the hill again and Twilight asked, "So continue the story." "O.K," replied Cadence. "Shining Armor and I were at this fancy restaurant in Canterlot. He then got out of his seat and yelled that he was going to make an announcement. He then got proposed and all that stuff and I said yes. I got so happy I had to use the bathroom. I was on my way when I saw a changeling flying away. I ran outside and chased it down into the gorge beneath where Canterlot hangs off the edge. I hid and the changeling told Queen Chrysalis that there was going to be a wedding. She laughed all evil-like and said that they were going to invade Canterlot and then all of equestria. I raced back and told Celestia. She commanded Shining Armor to put up that spell and all the guards. Chrysalis became me and said to the guards that she was visiting a friend. They let her in and found me. She put me down here and that is how I got here."
"Wow. That must have been weird." said Twilight. The girls reached the bottom of the mini mountain. "Should we start looking for the sword?" "Sure." said Cadence. "Let's not go too far from the hole. If it opens up again, we are getting out. That is the bottom line." Twilight and Cadence started searching around.
Princess Celestia watched as 'Cadence' and Shining Armor walked down the isle. They stopped in front of her. "We are gathered here to-" she began when Derpy flew in yelling Celestias name. "What is it?" the princess asked. "I.....sort of......please don't kill me for saying this, but I accidentally broke your statue and it is clogged down this hole." Celestia replied with a voice like silk, "It is quite all right. I can just have it fixed. She walked out and said "I will have to pause the wedding for a minute or two. I need to get that statue out of that hole." Chrysalis in disguise flinched. She knew that in that hole was the exit from the caves. She ran over to Celestia. "Can we clog up the hole after we get the statue out? I don't want any pony getting stuck down there and stuff." she asked. Celestia beamed. "That is a great idea! I will have to put a royal magical lock so only I can open it.
A lot of unicorns from the royal guard were surrounding the statue. Celestia gave the word and all the guards cast their spell. The combined magic from all of them was able to lift it out. Then Celestia put a decorative circular block to cover it like a stepping stone. A yellow beam of light shot out from the princesses horn and hit the block. "Now we can continue on to the wedding." said Rarity. Rainbow Dash was anxious. "They really need to hurry this wedding up. I want to do my Sonic Rainboom." said the blue pegasus. Fluttershy was worried. "I wonder where Twilight is. No pony has seen her ever sense Cadence ran out during rehearsals crying." she said softly. "Maybe Cadence wanted revenge and did something to Twilight and there is not going to be best mare and Canterlot will go crazy because Shining Armor and Cadence can't get married because there is no best mare and they need a best mare!" said Pinkie Pie quickly. "Don't you remember? You are the new best mare." said AppleJack. "Oh wait! I just remembered! I am the best mare!" said the giggling party pony. "I am a bit worried about Twi though." said AppleJack. "I guess she just went back home and waiting it over." said Rainbow Dash. The other ponies agreed.
"Cadence! Run! The hole is open!" yelled Twilight. Cadence gasped. She grabbed Twilight and flew as fast as she could to the hole. Then, the hole closed with Celestias magical lock. "AW COME ON!" they yelled simultaneously. "Now we definitely have to look for that sword." said Twilight angrily. The girls flew down and started to search. (For real this time.)
Author's Note
I wanted to make it so it could get funny. The girls starting to look for it and the hole kept on opening and closing and finally for good. I would have had this published for real, but I had a lot of homework and stuff. Expect chapter three within from now till at least the end of June.

As Twilight and Cadence made their way down the hill, Cadence asked, "So what happened with you? I told you what happened to me, so how did you get down here?" Twilight thought for a moment. "My friends and I were having a picnic when Spike showed up with the invitation...
BUMP! Twilight had been so wrapped up in her story, she bumped into a wall and collapsed. When she stood up again, her face was covered in crystals. Cadence giggled while Twilight frowned.
"We only have a limited time, so we need to find that sword." said Twilight. Cadence nodded. They split up and searched behind, crystals, under them, buried, and anywhere else some random guy would hide a sword. "Why would someone even make a door only open with a sword anyway?" asked Cadence. "No clue." the unicorn replied. They kept searching for the steel weapon when Twilight froze. Cadence didn't notice for a minute, but then she noticed it too. They heard the sound of birds chirping. It was very unusual because they were harmonizing as if they were singing for a special occasion. Then Twilight frowned and remembered that Fluttershy was in charge of the songs for the wedding. "The wedding is starting, isn't it?" asked Cadence frowning. "Yep." Twilight said with about the same tone. The girls ran and kept searching.
Twilight found some cracks in the wall and found that it was unstable. She knocked on it and smiled. "Hey Cadence!" she yelled. Cadence dropped a crystal and turned around. "What is it?" she asked. "Are there any explosives down here or something?" asked Twilight. "Because I think I found our way closer to that door and possibly the sword. This part of the wall is loose." Cadence immediately started searching for some explosive stuff. She found some spices and sniffed them. "This smells good. Hey Twilight! You have got to smell this stuff. It smells amazing!" said Cadence. Twilight ran over and became wide eyed. "This stuff is explosive!" she said. Cadence smiled and put all of it by the wall. Twilight shot out a fire spell and the spices exploded.
When the dust cleared, the wall had nothing different happen to it except for the fact that it had moved about 20 feet away from its original spot. Twilight dropped her jaw all the way to the floor. "CURSE YOU STUPID ELASTICITY OF SPACE TIME!" she yelled as she kicked the wall. It fell apart and a tunnel appeared. Cadence frowned. "The universe just loves proving us wrong doesn't it?" asked the alicorn. "Yep." replied Twilight.
Author's Note
Sorry this chapter took so long. It is just that I have been so wrapped up with school and summer that I sort of forgot about this. I also apologize for the shortness. Does that ring a bell though? A pond under ground, it has a reflection like a mirror, and can make the same thing come out of it that goes in? If you have no clue, watch this.

'Found anything yet Twilight?" asked Cadence.
"No. Not yet." Twilight responded. The girls kept searching more quickly. 'We would have to go super fast to get to that wedding or else it will bye bye Equestria.' Twilight thought. They kept searching. "I just can't find it. Got any ideas Cadence?" she asked.
"We could just use a spell to see if it is hidden inside a rock. I've seen those tricks all the time." Cadence replied.
'Good idea." said Twilight. She scanned the room for a good place to start. When she found a big rock, she gasped. She ran straight toward it charging up the spell. She charged it up. She was excited that she and Cadence-
"HEY TWILIGHT!" Cadence yelled. Twilight tripped at the surprise yell. The spell released off her horn. It ricocheted off a rock, off the ceiling, and into the water. Twilight gave Cadence a mad look.
"What was that for?" Twilight asked angrily.
"I found a frog." she said.
"Well, thanks to somepony for startling me, I nearly had one of us killed by that spell........." Twilight drifted off as she looked at the ceiling. There, up on the ceiling, was a shine. This shine came from a blade. "Oh my gosh. The sword is on the ceiling! We can get out of here. Cadence, go get it."
"Way ahead of you." she replied almost at the sword already. She grabbed it and yanked. It would not come out. She pulled harder and harder. Eventually, it came out. "Yes! I got it. Where does it go?"
"It goes in the slit on that rock on the top of the ramp thing, I think." said Twilight already pointing at it as she stood beside it. She was looking for where it goes while Cadence was pulling it out. Cadence put the blade in the rock and it instantly moved up and out. The girls felt a great feeling of accomplishment within them. They crawled out and found themselves in a wooded area.
"Where are we?" asked Cadence.
"I think we are in the Everfree Forest." replied Twilight. "That does not matter. How fast can you fly?' she asked as she pulled the sword out of the rock again.
"Pretty fast. Do you have a spell to make me go faster?" Cadence replied.
"Yep."
"Lets go then! Hop on my back." Twilight got on Cadence's back and flew along with a speed spell. They flew straight for Canterlot.
Author's Note
I noticed that i have not posted any chapters in a while, so i just decided to stick with this for my free time. I will try to post at least one chapter a month. Maybe more. No promises though. I also made it so the way out was a rock, but they forgot to put it back. This is how Pinkie Pie fell into the Mirror Pool.
