dressmakers peace (part I)
Blood, blood everywhere, and the flames as they creep closer and closer with the charred corpse of all my best friends and my sister, all of them chanting,
"Why didn't you save us?" I turn to run but I cannot escape the burning environment, and soon I feel the heat of the burning corpses growing louder... "WHY DIDN’T YOU SAVE US?!" Soon it grows into shriek
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGG!!!!" I shriek as I wake from the nightmare, but that is not the important part. My name is Rarity and 3 years ago a monster named Hoity Toity burned down my home town, and murdered everyone in it. I managed to get enough explosives to blow the black hearted villain to hell, but it did not erase the pain of losing my friends, or Celestia's pain of losing Twilight. But, it was when Luna was murdered by an assassin four weeks after the funerals of my five friends that she was pushed over the edge... She snapped and became a heartless dictator, now ponies caught out at after curfew are instantly jailed for life, and those that resist are executed on the spot. Other such ridiculous rules and punishments were also established....
All is not lost however... I have found a unicorn with enough magical power to fuel a time machine that will send me back 4 weeks before the events that turned equestria into a living hell, so I am getting ready because today is the day that I will be sent back and be able to fix this terrible history that Hoity Toity has created.
"So, are you ready to go back and fix this terrible history once and for all?," she asked as I step out of the doorway into the twilight.
"Indeed. Why do you think I am wearing the same thing I crafted three years ago when I brought the bastard down?", I said with a smirk
"Still got the weapons?", Venom asked, but rather than answering her, I pulled out the weapons that I’d used to deliver the justice.
"Good, now lets get going, seeing as we don't have all twilight." She said, and that sparked a memory of the sleep over with Twilight and A.J.
"Ahh, good times...." I say, but I do not dwell because I will soon be heading back to fix this accursed present, and repair the damage not only to the future, but also to myself.
We start sprinting toward the docks that held the warehouse where the time machine was hidden, but we had to be careful there because even in twilight, we could still be jailed. The chance was slim though because the solaria guard did not patrol the docks, alleys and backstreets very often, so tonight would be no different. Or would it?
"Well I see you made it here in time, but I have one request."[e] said a mid dusk colored pony
"What would that be, Shade?" I asked him
"Take me with you to the past so I can see my sister and show her that she has another brother other than Shining Armor." he said emotionlessly.
"Then how come records state that Twilight had only one brother?" Venom asks.
"That story is something for another time..." he answers
"Then it can wait because we don't have much time and I won’t get another chance at this." I say, determined.
"Alright then, this is charged up and ready to go, but be warned should we fail to fix this, we will all die..." he says ominously
"Venom and I have already factored the risks, but have you?" I ask already, knowing his answer.
"I have and I've decided that I would rather die than live knowing I failed to save my sister who didn't even know I existed." he replied
"Good, now lets get this baby purring and let’s leave this behind!" I shouted.
"For better or worst!" Venom carried on.
"For life or for death!" Shade finished.
Shade walked over to the control console and started tapping buttons with the speed and accuracy that Twilight was capable of. All was going well until we heard the thump of hooves on the ground outside and voices echoing, and failing at being stealthy.
"Dammit! They found us!" I cursed
"Don't worry, I will be ready in a little bit." Shade said
A little bit wasn’t quick enough; soon huge cracks and fissures formed in the warehouse’s wooden doors, they would not hold up forever soon after, one of the unicorn guards yelled an order to step back and charged a big ball of energy which blew the door off the hinges.
"STOP IN THE NAME OF THE SOLARIA!!" Bellowed the captain
"Yeah right! I'll sooner piss on Luna's gravestone then stop for you morons!", Venom spat acidically.
"APPREHEND THES- OUCH!!!" The guard captain was interrupted as a lone pony dressed in old guards armor crashed into him and stamped on his head knocking him out, then turned and kicked the second in command in the head. The rest just ran off in fear of this new comer. Soon, the mysterious pony turned around and took off his helmet to reveal Twilight’s older brother, Shining Armor.
"Hello Shining, I'm afraid that we can’t stay long because they will be back with more to kills us." Shade said
"Hello brother, I guess we can skip the pleasantries because I'm just here to wish you guys luck and help drive off the Solaria Guard." Shining Armor stated
"Thank you, darling, but we must get going." I pressed
"Well, good luck." He waves as we step into the arch and into the past...
