Why did she have to do that? "I told you Mom, its not a date, we're  just going to a show" "Whatever you say." I was on my way to a Ska show.There to meed my friend, Jen. We were both into ska, and this was one of her favorite bands playing, Since i was the only other person She knew that liked Ska. It wasn't that I particularly like this girl, but the place I jam at is free for couples. I figured i could get some good practice in, and anyway, the girl was cute. "Were here, grab your stuff, and I can get to my yoga session" "Alright, thanks for the ride mom. see ya later" I said, pulling my guitar and amp out of the back. "I'll pick you up 'round 5:45, ok?" "yep, sound good" I shut the door, and walked over to the burger mart. "Hey Jen! Whats up?" I nearly shouted when I saw her "Not much, you ready to jam?" She replied after getting the initial shock of my shouts "Yeah! You wanna get a bite to eat first?" okay... It was a date. "I'm ok, I just ate, and I don't want to make you spend your money. You can get something if you're hungry though." "Ok. Well lets get over there!" I said with enthusiasm. The next few minutes got Fuzzy. I remember walking over to The building we were building in, and then I remember the sun going dark. "Look, the moon!" I seem to remember Jenny shouting. I looked down and I saw a circle surrounding us, glowing intensely Orange. "Jen, we should move" "I Agree!" She said. I calmly walked over to the edge of the circle, only to be stopped by a glowing orange force field. "I can't get out!" I shouted, pounding on the field. "Neither can I!" I looked down. Another ring was appearing, a grayish midnight blue color, just ever so slightly smaller than the orange one. I remember running to the center of the circle, a flash, and then nothing. I woke. The first thing I noticed was the sound of trees, birds singing, and distant wind. The next thing I noticed was the smooth rock I was laying on, some sort of igneous rock. Remembering my survivalist training, I stood up and began to observe my surroundings. the structure I had been laying in was simply strange, consisting of two black Marbled pillars, two white, resting on half black marble, and half white. this entire structure rested on the cliff of a very large, rocky mountain. lower in what appeared to be a vast valley, a forest rested quietly, and most importantly, far off in the distance I could make out a small village, smoke and everything. Suddenly, I jumped nearly out of my pants as I heard a groan emanating from the far side of the structure. Turning around, I noticed a figure, resting similarly to how I had been resting. "Jenny! Are you ok?" I rushed over "no, really, I'm full" She muttered "Jen, you gotta wake up something happened!" I yelled Finally she began to wake up, I sighed in relief. However nobody could be prepared for the seemingly bottomless spring of questions that came next "What? Where am I? What happened? What did you do to me? What is this place? why is it so cold? are we in CANADA?" She stopped for a moment to catch her breath, and looked at me as if I would know all of the answers. "I don't know what happened. after the rings, I woke up here, I only got a minute or so before you came around" I fired off as quickly as I could, hoping to avoid more stress. "Ok, I believe you. You've never been one to lie.What do we do next?" "I saw a village sort of thing down in the valley, should we try to make it there?" "A village? Sounds good to me. Lets get going" Before we even got to start going, were stopped, by a very, very large noise I looked up, and much to my shock, I saw two, for lack of a better description, Unicorns. with wings, flying towards me. One a dark midnight blue, one almost pure white "Wha.." I Mumbled "I don't... why..." I heard Jen Murmur Before I got to process what i was seeing, the dark one landed. Expecting some sort of attack, I took a defensive stance "HALT! THOU HAST LAID ASSAULT TO MY LAND, AND SHALL NOT LEAVE BEFORE THY EXPLANATIONS OF THY PRESENCE!" "Calm down sister, you might kill the things, however I do agree." The white one said as it landed on the opposide end of the structure I watched In awe as the two horses proceeded to light up their horns, creating a sort of pink bubble. The white one approached, and with the most threatening, mother like voice, she smiled at me and said "I am Celestia, Co-Ruler of Equestria, and master of the Sun." Ruler of the sun? How did that work? "Now, explain yourself"
