Allergy Season

Dappled yellow-pink-orange colors against the clouds made for a beautiful sight for Rainbow Dash to wake up to.

  "Oh yeah! A beautiful sunrise. Today is gonna be awesome!" Rainbow zoomed outside and dived down to the ground. She flew across the lush green valley out to the spot where her mailbox was. "Wow, that wind must have blown my house around a bit. The mailbox is further away then I thought."

  Dash opened the mailbox and pulled out a letter emblazoned with the Wonderbolts stamp. "Oooh! Cool!" She ripped open the letter and read it. "Dear Rainbow Dash, you have been selected by the Wonderbolts, fastest fliers in Equestria, to put on a show and become considered for joining. Please come to Canterlot for the show by 1/32/ALR (After Luna's Return). Ohmygosh yes yes yes yes!"

  Rainbow grinned from ear to ear and flew around the meadow. All of a sudden, she sneezed and ended up doing an accidental loop dee loop into a cloud. "What just happened?"  She sneezed again.  "Am I sick or something?" Rainbow stopped and zoomed off in the direction of Twilight's library.

   "Spike, fetch me a copy of The Encyclopedia Of Equestrian Ailments, please!" Spike walked up holding the book in question. "Hmm, let's look for the entries that have symptoms the same as Rainbow's. Okay..." Rainbow started pulling her mane. "Hurry up, Twi!" Rainbow's sentence was punctuated with a sniffle. Twilight frowned. "It sounds like you're suffering from spring allergies." Rainbow frowned. "Well, these 'spring allergies' are stopping me from being able to fly straight!" Twilight put her arm around Dash, who sneezed in return. "Zecora probably has a cure, but she's gone collecting ingredients from that new apothecary that opened in the next town."
