It is a sunny day in Ponyville, Fluttershy have just been at the grocery shop to pick up food to her animals. Especially Angel could await a nice surprise because she is going to make his favorite Salad dish with a cherry on top.
And yet what she did not expect was that a light brown Unicorn stallion, stood at her main door and Arguing? "Ow ow hey! look bunny, I have already told you I am leaving after I have asked!" Angel was apparently not very fond of him, Angel kept stammering on his hoof.
"E-excuse me, c-can I help you?" Both Angel and the Stallion looked up on Fluttershy who slowly passed the bridge to her home, she was quite nervous even though she was not as shy as when she met Twillight for the first time. But there was a Stallion at her front door, and Fluttershy is not used be around Stallions when she is alone. "Well that depends" said the Stallion, "do you know to calm down this little guy?" He looked at Angel who was giving him a look that could scare nightmare moon away.
"Angel come here please, I got some Salad leafs for you to chew on." The bunny slowly jumped over to Flutter shy who was wavering a salad leaf, Fluttershy continued. "W-what I actually meant, why are you standing at my front door?
That is if you don´t mind" Now that she had gone a good look on the unicorn stallion, she could see he have a little unusual build, he was quite small for a stallion a little shorter than her, he had red pupils and yellow hoofs, a spiky untamed mane white as snow, and a quite short horn a little shorter than Twillights and Raritys.
And atlast his cutie mark, It was three Bright flashes on greater than the next. The largest was on the bottom, the medium sized was a little higher up to the right, and the smallest was on top to the left for the medium sized.
"Oh thank goodness he sighed, I was hoping somepony would come sooner or later, you see I am lost. I am looking for the small town named Ponyville and I can't seem to find the way."
his voice was a gentlecolts, a young, charming, and full of energy. "Oh?" Flutter shy expressed, "w-well I guess your luck just turned all you have to do is follow the forest line on the road," she pointed her hoof along the road as she spoke.
"C-can I ask you a question? That is, if it is okay." The Stallion Raised an eyebrow and smiled "ofcourse miss," Fluttershy blushed a little as she hid half her face under her mane, "how did you end up here?
Most ponies just take the train to Ponyville, and that is on the other side of town."
Fluttershy looked up through her mane to see that the stallion was blushing a little, "I, I," he let out a sight. "I walked through the everfree forrest From Phillydephia, to spare the ticket, but before I knew it I was attacked by the wild life so I lost my map and compass. I guess it was a pretty dumb idea after all aheh heh."
"You WALKED! through the everfree forrest?" Flutter shy had raised her head completely as she made her surprised answer.
"Yes it was quite the walk, so all and all I ended up here seeing your house I was hoping the owner, that makes you" as he pointed at her, "to lead me to Ponyville that is my final destination. And close to I guess." There was a moment of silent only broken by Angels chewing, " when he broke the silence, "oh will I better get going then." He took one step while Fluttershy slowly nodded.
As the next step however landed wrong on the ground making him fall down the little hill the tree hut was placed on right down in the little river, splash it sounded as Fluttershy got some water on her, Angel was rolling on the ground making a bunny laughter.
"Oh my goodness are you all right?" Fluttershy found herself speaking, as she took off to help the stallion out of the water, "what just happened?" She asked nervously. "I guess I am more exhausted than I thought" he spoke as he accepted Flutteshys help, when he got up he shook the worst water off, Accidently hitting Fluttershy, he looked at Fluttershy and began to make a innocent smile, "ops sorry" he quick said, Fluttershy just said "i-it's okay, But how about you?
Will you be okay? I mean it was quite a fall, " Well said the Stallion," with a shy look on his face "to be honest it would be nice if I could rest here for a couple of hours."
Fluttershy Stared at the stallions shy yet hopefull expression with her aqua blue eyes, he had no IDEA! how many thoughts that sentence brought to her head.
"I should not" thought Fluttershy to herself "but the poor guy can barely walk, but even so it is only an half hours walk to Ponyville from here. Oooh what do I do? What do I do?"
In the end she found herself stammering, "O-okay y-you can r-rest on the sofa," she could not believe herself she is letting a complete stranger inside her house.
"OH thank you" he let out in a nervous sight, "I will be gone in three hours four hours top! So after you miss," at that moment his eyes became small and he face hoofed,
"I am SO sorry he laughed I should have told you my name ALOT sooner, I am Cid, Cid Droc" he reached out his hoof to a hoofshake. Fluttershy blushed a little and squeaked "I am Fluttershy" as she accepted the hoofshake.
"Well then miss Fluttershy, after you" he smiled as Fluttershy unlocked and opened her door letting her new guest in first. Cid walked in and looked around, "By Celestias mane there is many Bird houses in here, quite impressive" "Oh" said Fluttershy as she was heading to the kitchen,
"T-thank you, I-I will be with you in a moment," she heard Cid as she had entered the kitchen, "of course, I will just place myself on the sofa."
Fluttershy stood still for an entire minute before she placed herself on a chair sweating and shivering, she began unpacking her grocery while many alarming thoughts runs through her head. "It is just for a few hours, she thought to herself "nothing can go wrong, oh sweet Celestia there is a stallion in my living room! what do I do?
He have to leave, I Just can't have him here, I must build up the courage and tell him to leave," As she put the last carrot in its place she nervously walked to the living room she Stammered "C-Cid I am s-sorry but I-I canno. . ."
she halted with a hoof to her mouth, Cid was asleep, he just laid there innocent and helpless. "He really was exhausted" she thought to herself, "I guess there will be no harm by letting sleep it out." she let out a sight, "I better get him a blanket before he catch a cold."
As the day went on Fluttershy cared for her animals as she usual do, Cid was still asleep when the sun begun to reach the horizon, Fluttershy sat in her reading chair reading a book she had borrowed from Rarity, "Dying your mane 101" Fluttershy had just begun when she got interrupted,
"knock knock knock." Her heart Skipped a beat, she never thought someone would visit her at this hour.
"who is it?" she spoke, A familiar voice answered, "ey' Fluttershy ya' got a min?" AppleJacks voice came from the other side of the door, Fluttershy was panicking, what would she do?
She can't let AppleJack see Cid what would she think if she saw a stranger sleeping on her sofa? "Justamoment" Fluttershy almost screamed in panic, she galloped to find another blanket to cover Cid with.
"Ya all'aigh Sugercupe? Ya sound a bit o' stressed," as Fluttershy rushly covered Cid with the second blanket she answered, "what? Oh it - it's fine I'll be there in 10 seconds." And as spoken she was at the door 10 second later opening the upper half slowly only letting her head be seen "oh hi AppleJack oh and Rainbow dash?
What brings you here so late?" "hey there shy, what took ya?" The blue Pegasus asked " Fluttershy felt like her heart had stopped AppleJack was Easy enough to fool, but Rainbow Dash always had a hunch for when something is wrong. Hiding Cid might have been more Challenging than Fluttershy thought, she answered,
"I had to calm mister mouse, he had nightmares again," and with that Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes as AppleJack begun, "ahm'a sorry ta bother ya this late sugarcube , but a need some medicine fer Wynona, it jus caint wait,"
"thats why you should let ME get it, I am Way faster than you" Rainbow Dash said, Fluttershy just stood and watched "My dog My Responsibility, an' when Ma dog have cant bark because of pain in tha throat I! am tha one to make sure she get tha proper medicine!
Rainbow" "But we were in the middle of our final hoofwresling match!" And with that Fluttershy knew Those two mares would be on each other for a moment, a moment she took to slowly close the door, and thud over to her medicine closet.
Normally Fluttershy don't mind Rainbow and AJ's arguing, but they did make a lot of sound, "But you are SO SLOW even at your full run speed."
She heard dash say through the door, when she got the medicine she gave Cid a look, he was still sound asleep under the two blankets, "hey shy! why did you close the door?" Rainbow Dash had apparently snapped out of the argument and returned focus to Fluttershy who was not there.
She opened the upper door slightly again, "oh I'm sorry" she said with a shy smile, "here AppleJack Just give her a spoon twice a day, then she will be cured in two days," Rainbow Dash gave her a suspicious look. "A thank ya kindly Fluttershy, this ould' help Wynona resting,"
Rainbow dash looked at Fluttershy with narrow eyes "say Fluttershy can I quickly use the bathroom?"
"no" Fluttershy just said quick with a plain face. Both ponies looked at her surprised. "well if there if no more I can help you with, I need to get my sleep now."
And with that Fluttershy just closed calmly, AppelJack and Rainbow dash stood at the door for thirty seconds then Rainbow dash spoke.
Did Fluttershy just kindly tell us to get lost?" "Looks a like it" AppleJack responded as she turns around and begin to walk, "are ya commin? We still got a hoofwrestling compatition ta finish,"
"But AJ," "Rainbow dash objectively boasted, "didn't you see how she was acting? She is definitely hiding something!" "it aint polite to snoof in'ta ponies secrets RD! Leave it be, if ya want a explanation you ask her tomorrow, when she is NOT under pressure as she is now." AppleJack said Stubbornly, "ach fine!" rainbow Groaned.
Meanwhile Fluttershy stood at the door, ashamed because she just told two of her best friends to walk away. "oh AppleJack, Rainbow dash I am so, so, sorry but if you see him I would have gotten in to total panic."
Fluttershy turned around, Cid looks like he haven't moved a muscle under the blankets.
She walked silently over to him and removed the second blanket again, he looked kinda like a big foal when he's sleep. She put the blanket back in its place, and decided to go to bed herself.
Next morning Fluttershy awakened as the first sunbeams warmed her face, she yawned and got up from bed. "I wonder if Cid is awake she thought to herself," she went downstairs to find Cid still was sleeping as a little boy on the Sofa. Angel had also just awakened and was pulling in Fluttershys mane, "yes angel?"
The little bunny was pointing at its open mouth with his paw, "oh of course Angel I will feed you as soon I have awaken him" she said smiling, she quietly walkes over to Cid, begun raise her hoof to poke him. Then she put it down with a unsecure face, then took a lightly deep breath was about to talk, then just sighted calmly.
Angel began stomp on Fluttershys hoof, as she looked down she could see the bunnys face just had the "What are you waiting for?" expression angry manifested.
"what if he get mad over I awaked him so rudely?" Fluttershy whispered "I don't want to be rude," the bunny face palmed and begun walking grumpy over to his little sleeping nest.
After five minutes Fluttershy began poke Cid to awake him, "Uhm Cid? You need to get up now," Cid began to groan softly and open his eye. "I don't mean to be rude but I cannot let you be alone in my house,"
Fluttershy said with a nervous smile. Cid sat up and rubbed his eyes, he looked around, then froze when he spotted the window.
"how long was I asleep ?" Cid quickly stated, "a-about twelve hours" Fluttershy answered. Cid sighed and begun to look down and spoke, "I am so, so, sorry miss Fluttershy, it was only the meaning I should rest for a couple of hours. Not fall asleep in your living room, I hope I wasn't much trouble."
He Looked at her with eyes that was full of guilt. Fluttershy just stood speechless watching those big red eyes that looked like they could burst out in tears, "w-well Cid I-I-" she was interrupted by an angry tapping from Angels bed.
He pointed angry at his empty food box. "Oh right coming right now Angel" she said calm, she turned her head to Cid again. "I am sorry I need to feed the animals," she said with a little blush.
Cid took a deep breath and then said, "so the charming little guys name is angel?" "Oh yes" Fluttershy replied as she was walking to the kitchen, "he's my favorite, he might be a little. . . Rough from time to time, but believe me he can really be adorable when he is in his good mood."
Cid looked at Angel, who still gave him a look that could make the pinkiesense go silent. "So miss Fluttershy, I am truly greatfull I could sleep here, even though it was not the intention, so I am thinking.
To repay you how about I treat you breakfast somewhere in Ponywille?" There was a little moment of silence. Then Fluttershy came out from the kitchen with a very surprised look in her eyes, she looked like she would like to answer but because of a carrot packed in salad leafs in her mouth she couldn't.
Cid begun smile nervously as Fluttershy walked over to Angel with the carrot and placed it front of him, as Angel almost assaulted the carrot and began to eat, Fluttershy gulped as she turned to Cid who looked a little silly with that wide unsecure smile.
"I-I would love to b-b-but I can't, I have to get to my weekly get together with my friend Rarity today, and I kinda promised her to share breakfast with her."
Cid stared at her for around thirty seconds, then smiled and said "of course Miss Fluttershy I shall not come between you and your friend." Those words made Fluttershys body a whole lot lighter, she replied "I am glad you understand, But if you don't mind taking a longer road to Ponywille I can lead you to it."
Cids smile became even wider, "Now why would I mind that? You just finish up here then I will wait outside." And with those words Cid walked through Fluttershys main door.
