The letter, the truth and three weapons of mass destruction
the wind blew in celestia's mane as she looked up to the thunder clouds surrounding ponyville, it was time.
meanwhile in Golden oaks library...
Twilight was sleeping quietly in her bed ,despite it was nearly 11am and the library had open two hours ago she was still fast asleep. Intill now that is that is.
"twilight a letter arrived from the princess!"
The lavender unicorn Shot out of bed and was down the stairs in seconds along With her hair brush and most of the bed sheets in her wake .
"Where is it ?!"
Spike's claw slowly pointed to a small scroll on the desk in the middle of the room as it was coated in Twilight's telekinesis and floated towards her. But as she started to read the letter her jaw moved closer and closer to the floor and as soon as she had finished the last line she bolted out the door leaving the letter to glide to the library floor as spike watched in shock.

Dear twilight,
Please gather your friends and meet me at golden oaks library as soon as possible ,I will arrive at 11:30 please could you make sure that all the elements of harmony are present at that time as this is a matter of great importance !

Even from the barn you could see the purple streak shooting down the dirt road at speeds that could match rainbow dash's yet still twilight wanted to go faster ,not for any personal gain but simply to have her friends in the library in half an hour ( which would have been possible at walking pace.) due to her fear of being tardy and disappointing the princess. So by the time twilight had reached sweat apple acres applejack was ready for the insanity that is twilight sparkle and was surprised by the the fact twilight wasn't, crazy so much so that she even offered to find rainbow dash and fluttershy for her.
Rainbow dash didn't hear applejack approach the cloud she was on nor did she notice when applejack lassoed rainbow dash, why? You may ask ,well rainbow was having a nap and NOTHING not even a lasso would wake rainbow dash from her nap ,leaving AJ to pull the cloud to the library ,park the cloud and go and find fluttershy all in ten minutes. In other words Applejack was dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed!!!
Finding rarity was an easy task for twi it was pinkie that seemed to think she was playing hide and seek, but even so rarity was determined to find the evil villain that was pink and could break the 4th wall with ease. It took twilight ten minutes to persuade the fancy unicorn to head to the library instead of running off to find pinkie.
As AJ galloped she slowly put together a plan to get fluttershy at the library in a couple of seconds but it wasn't intill she crossed a stone bridge that she came up with a plan even twilight would be proud of .......
5 minutes later...
"Hello applejack "
"Fluttershy help , peewee's hurt himself at golden oaks!"
Fluttershy was out of the door at a speed not even a wonder bolt could match and Applejack was quick to follow.
Pinkie pie was confused ,her pinkie sence had told her that twilight was looking for her and yet the bookworm was nowhere to be seen. This led the pink pony to the one way that allowed someone to find pinkie......singing.
"Come every pony smile smile smile ........."
2 seconds later....
Twilight flung a singing pinkie pie through the library door just as applejack began to read the letter, once she had finish there was a rapid amount of talking:
"what the hay is that meant to mean?!"
"i'm sure will find out when when celestia gets here ,darling"
"ah wonder whats so important ,Ah mean it's not like it's gonna be discord!"
"be quiet i'm trying to read!"
"EGGHEAD!"
"meep."
"can i go bake cupcakes please"
"no pinkie i need to speak to all of you"
"will i need to pack, theres so much to do!"
"wait who said the 8th sentence!"
"celestia!!!!!"
"yes i arrived early to write a poem, i mean trolling is fun but i felt like writing a poem!" celestia replied ,not noticing that 6 jaws had hit the floor.
"ok now on to the important stuff, you are all daughters of the gods of Olympus and will be sent to camp half-breed to find out who your parents are and before you ask I'm not crazy. Oh and monsters will attack you a lot but you will be able to see your family though it will be dangous ."
Five jaws went through the floor as the princess of the sun finish and a certain pink pony passed each element and lifted their jaw in to the right position.
"I would also like you to bring the cutie mark crusaders but do not under any circumstance tell them why ,as if they know you will only attract monsters quicker."
And six jaws hit the floor once again as celestia started to wonder if she'd find a sister among the nine ponies who would travel to camp half-breed the next day and probably faint a couple of times in the process.
As rainbow dash and her friends left the library she spotted a small ,blank flanked filly zoom off towards the cutie mark crusaders clubhouse before turning back to her friends to discuss what had just happened to them.
Scootaloo speeded her way to the CMC clubhouse after what she had seen at the library ,not noticing the rainbow streak following her in till she was yanked of her scooter and in to the sky by a pair of cyan blue hooves.
"Rainbow dash what's going on, why did you just pull me my scooter?!!"
"Sorry squirt but I can't tell you anything other than this :get packing and meet me at the library in two hours!"
" what about my scooter!"
Rainbow pointed to the road that scoots had been racing down as a small scooter stopped in front of a huge orange hydra.
Applejack dashed to the cutie mark crusaders just in time to see a blur of rainbow pick up a small orange coated filly before the young pony ran straight into a ten metre high hydra .the rainbow streak flew over to Applejack and rarity before telling the two wingless ponies that they would get scootaloo and her best friends to safety, as soon as this had been made clear Rainbow Dash went straight up to the monster and bucked the first of its many heads to the ground .
Crack!
Dash heard the first of the hydras skulls spilt in two before she saw it hit the ground yet this did not help in her fight to defend her friends, if anything it only made the hydra more ferocious. As one hydra head chose to strike ,rainbow dash dogjed the attack and shot straight into the sky with the sound barrier slowly Falling apart around her.
BOOM!!!
A sonic rainboom echoed in the sky destroying the passing clouds in it's blinding light but Rainbow Dash wasn't interested in the rainboom, no she needed the vibrant rainbow that came after and with a series of twists and turns her message shone bright for all to see.
Meanwhile at canterlot ......
"LUNA!!!" Shouted Celestia in the canterlot voice,
"Yes sister what is wrong ?"spoke Luna ;who was still struggling with modern day language.
"Have you been reading my mail, because all of my scrolls from spike have have the seals broken and I've not opened them."
Luna entered the room at this remark and started to stare out the window before asking why it had been opened from the outside, this caused the white alicorn to turn to the window as a worried expression adorned her face.
"The curtain has been burnt with changeling flame as well, were you writing any important letters to twilight and her friends?!"
Celestia looked up at Luna with a scared look on her face
"I was writing the letter to organise meeting the element bearers to explain about their parents..."mumbled the sun princess
"WHAT!!!, celestia that was changeling fire on the curtain!"
"I know, we've got to find out what's going on this seems to be a little to much to be a coincidence ."
BOOM!!!
Rainbows flashed across the sky in the form of a rainboom followed by a vibrant rainbow spelling help bright in the sky for all to see: rainbow dash was in trouble!

By the time twilight had got to the road that lead up to the cutie mark crusaders club house three hydra heads where lying on the ground and only one was left standing. Yet as the lavender unicorn started to reach the danger zone Apple jack, Rarity, Apple bloom, Scootaloo and sweetie belle ran out of the trees on the side of the dirt path that lead to the chaotic battleground.
"Hydra run!!!" Shouted scootaloo; who for some reason seemed to leading the party away from the beast that rainbow dash was battling further down the road.

While in the distance two dots, one white with a pink area at the top and the other was two shades of navy blue shot away from canterlot unknown to the group in ponyville.

Back in ponyville celestia was cantering over to twilight and the group that had escaped the hydra with pinkie in front showing the way, fluttershy behind and spike floating in her green magic as they reached twilight , the lavender mare turned round her horn glowing in preparation for a spell.
"Put down spike or I fire!" Shouted Twilight
Celestia dropped spike in shock and her magic faded.
"What, why, what have I done?" Celestia tried to ask but the spell had all ready hit her. The transformation started as the alicorns legs turned black and Holy, next her feathery white wings changed to those of an insect, a changeling now stood before them.
"How did you know my true form?" The changeling asked with both anger and curiosity
" first, no pony writes the most serious letter possible and then just drops the bombshell like that , i mean you didn't even sound like Celestia! And second the real celestia has a light yellow magic colour not the green colour that you use plus I knew you were a changeling due to this and the fact that all the changelings in canterlot had the same colour magic as you." Twilight finished triumphantly. This was quickly follow by a "yeah!!!" Coming from a beefy, white Pegasus stallion that poked out from behind a tree causing every pony to wear a confused expression including the hydra down the road in fact the only pony in ponyville who hadn't gone in to shock was Rainbow dash, who promptly struck the hydra down before joining the others.

"Luna, go warn camp about 9 new half bloods and don't forget to mention that 3 of them have yet to acquire a cutie mark!" Celestia shouted over the howling wind as they descended towards ponyville
Luna quickly wave goodbye to her sister as she sped into the everfree forest and towards camp.

"Okay, let me get this straight celestia was a changeling, had nothing to do with the hydra I defeated via pure coolness and isn't trying to kill us while we wait for the real celestia to arrive even though that was its goal?" Rainbow dash asked after every pony had recovered from the shock of the white stallion.
"Tails twitching" pinkie shouted
The group of friends looked at each other before grabbing the crusaders and rush for cover, leaving the changeling to stand and wonder what these strange ponies were talking about. However the changeling was not there for long as a light yellow beam hit it on the back of the neck and banishing it to the moon.
Scootaloo jumped up and started trotting out of the trees and towards the path they had stood on moments ago, only to be pulled back by her idol. Yet the orange Pegasus understood why rainbow had been so worried about staying under the trees when princess celestia landed where she was hoping to stand.
