Vacations with Granny Fire Fly
I think many of you, want to know my secret of Sonic Rainboom, well I'll tell you, before I met Gilda, before I fly ...This happened when I was a filly, my first Sonic Rainboom, but happened remarkable things, my meeting with my grandma ..... Firefly,Thanks to my grandmother, and my childhood friend
And Thanks to my Family,and Fluttershy,and others ponies
Well I will, tell the beautiful story:
I and my family were going to Ponyland, a place located in Dream Valley, a land near Equestria was pretty much there, there were beautiful spaces, magic greenery, and many old ponies lived, there,I did not want to leave the comfort of my home, but had to travel, My mother was a pegasus pony called Patch, and my father was a purple pegasus stallion with a colored mane like mine called Bifröst
We were getting there, a little big house,My grandmother was there to receive us, I was not happy, I was kind of upset, and then I asked my mother:
"Oh, mom! why we have to come here every month? For me it's an Bore thing"
"Dash,we need to visit relatives at least once a year" Mommy awsered
"The elderly know fend for themselves!"
But this make my mother angry
"Dashie, do not make I cancel your flight lessons!"
And i was scared:
"Okay, okay?"
I was the age of Scoots at that time, as she I could not fly.
My parents put the luggage in the room, so I went out, and then Grandma Firefly appeared in front of me:
"Hello, Dashie, as it was in Cloudsdale?
I was not to speak, but I said:
"Fine, fine. Was Fine until we got here.
"But Dashie, visiting relatives is important!"Granny speak again
I was angry ,so I changed the subject angrily:
"Just .. just stay away from me! I hate you! Mom forced me to come here!Out of my way!"
She felt offended:
"Dashie..."
"Shut you mouth!"And I left hooves pounding hard, and went in the backyard to calm myself

I sat under a tree, I was angry and crying at the same time, I covered the tears with my hoof, suddenly ...
"Hiya!" a pegasus colt went underneath the leaves
"Haahh" I almost fainted with fright
"I'm sorry I scared you, huh?"The colt saw my scared face, I would scream, but disguised with a bad-tempered talk:

"Well,yes,but for a small time,After this,I'll back to Cloudsdale
"You're from Cloudsdale?This is very awesome!Oh, how I'm bad mannered!Name's Golden Lining" he introduced himself, I also had to introduce myself:
"My name is Rainbow dash!But call me RD!What were you doing in the tree?"

"Cloudy field?"I asked confused
"Is that place of Clouds that i said."Golden awsered
Then we started to fly again, after a while we got a field full of clouds and had a cliff:
"Here we are then, let's fly!" Golden pointed to the field
"And how make that?"
"Jumping, of the cliff" Golden looked down without fear:
I was scared:
"You, crazy? It's the same thing that die!"
"Please, please Rainbow, do it for your family, your life, for .... you!"Golden Lining begged, he then encouraged me: "Just, do it." So I took courage and jumped the hill, I was falling, I closed my eyes, and then started to open, and then I was ...... ....... Flying!
"Yahoo! Flying is the coolest thing there!" My wings beating high, I went back up safely
"Rainbow, You did it!" Golden congratulated me and soon after I returned home:
"Mommy,Daddy!I did it!I can fly now!"I was jumping
Dad approached me and said cheerfully:
"That's my girl! Congratulations Dashie!"
"Yeah Dashie!You did it!"
Mom also was pleased
We had dinner and went to sleep
Next Day.....
I was having breakfast and then my Grandma came toward me:
"Good morning, Dash!"
"Good Morning" I was not angry, I was happy
And then I looked at her, she had already made a Sonic Rainboom, and asked
"Grandma, can you teach me Sonic Rainboom?"
"What?" She almost choked on the milk
"Yes, I be popular!" I was excited
But Grandma firefly looked at me seriously
"Rainbow, make a Sonic Rainboom not mean to be popular, it is a sign of glory"
I was not interested, I begged and then she said:
"Fine, Rainbow I teach you."
We go for a house,a house of iron,there was kinda cold
"Grandma, why is it so cold here?"
"If you want to learn the Sonic Rainboom, need to combat the weather."

Before I could say another word, Grandma Fire Fly pulled a lever,Then somehow I got to fly in that room was so cold even colder, then became a polar gallery,I was almost frozen, then my wings beat faster than ever,so when I almost fired up to the ceiling, the cold went away.Then Grandma flew up to me and said:
"It's time to stop, Dash."
"But,why?"I Asked.
" Enough for Today . Tomorrow you will learn more."
So I and my grandmother went away from that cold room. We set up up camp near a waterfall:
"Dashie,you want hear a story?"Grandma Fire Fly said putting the hoof on my mane
"Hmmm .... Okay!Tell the story!"I said with joy
"I will tell .... The origin of pegasus. The old pink pegasus pony wear a smile.
"The origin of pegasus?"I said with a strange look.
"Yes, before the founding of Equestria, there were only unicorns and earth ponies, so there was a mare who always wanted to fly but never did, every night she looked at the sky with teary eyes and went to sleep. But the next day something inexplicable happened: The mare won wings, she could step into the clouds, and control the time she married and the pegasus populace began to expand."

"Yeah,but it's time to sleep, goodnight Dashie."Grandma and I turned out the fire and went into the tent.
The Sun Cleared our tent then Grandma woke me up:
"Get up Dashie, time to train."
"But this morning? I hoped that was afternoon. Just five more minutes."
"Dude, it's time to train! Do you want to be popular between Cloudsdale?"
"Okay, okay."I was still sleepy,but Grandma insisted and then ..... I accepted.
We went up a canyon, he was full of sharp stones. The chances of getting hurt were high there .My hooves were shaking with fear then the old pink pony said a thing in my ear:
"Just .... Do not give up. You will not be able to get your wish with fear. You can Dash, I know I you can. Just do not give up."
This phrase thing echoed in my ear,I took courage and flew, I almost hurt myself in the end and had a very fine passage, I thought I could not, so I closed my eyes and said to myself:
"I can. .. I CAN!" And I miraculously passed,and I returned, and Firefly Grandma hugged me and said:
"You did it! His Sonic Rainboom is guaranteed!"
I was crying,but very happy

The Vacations, had already finished, and it was time to return to Cloudsdale, I was sad, however mom came to me and said:
"Dashie, I have a surprise! Her grandmother and your little friend will go with you!"
"Are you serious?" I asked really excited
"Yeah!"
"YAY!"and the next day we left.

Epilogue:
We were at Flight Camp, I and my Grandmother Golden Lining, and then the two clans, Hoops and Dumb-Bell came in front of me:
"Well, Well, is not our friend Rainbow Crash, which was you is an ostrich?"Hoops laugh
So Golden, came to defend:
"Leave her alone! You two are a bunch of idiots"
Dumb-Bell laugh and talk:
"Ah, Rainbow Crash, what is the problem? You're too afraid to defend yourself?" Both both laughed and left
I was not calling them, then I saw them mocking Fluttershy:
"Nice going, "Klutzershy"! They outta ground you permanently."
"HA! My baby brother can fly better than you!"
I was so angry, so Golden Lining said:
"Bunch of idiots!" I agreed and went to defend Fluttershy:
"Leave her alone!"I came up in front of Flutteshy
"Ooh, what are you gonna do," Rainbow Crash? "
"Keep making fun of her and find out!"I was so angry
"You think you're such a big shot? Why don't you prove it?"
"Whaddya have in mind?" I was a bit confident
And then we did the race, then one of two idiots came looked at me and said:
"You're going down!"
"In history, maybe. Boys See you at the finish line!" I was bragging, and then Fluttershy gave the start, we were so fast and she fell, I was going so fast it was going to win, however Hoops pushed me:
"Ha! Later, Rainbow Crash!"
"He's Asking!"Golden Lining would try to attack Hoops, but he was detained by Grandma Firefly:
"Golden,this is Dash's Race,let her finish!
"Hey"I then overtook Hoops, I was going as fast as the light, I was about to perform the Sonic Rainboom, then came voices in my head:
"Just .... Do not give up. You will not be able to get your wish with fear. You can Dash, I know I you can. Just do not give up.
"Please, please Rainbow, do it for your family, your life, for .... you!"
"DASH!!"The voices disappeared, and then I trusted myself and .. BOOM .. I performed the Sonic Rainboom, I climbed into the clouds and everyone applauded
"She.. did it! SHE DID IT!"Golden jumped too high, and that old pink pegasus smiled:
"You did,it Dash."

I went back to camp and Golden Flight approached me:
"Dash,you did it!"Golden jumped again
"Yeah, I got Golden" I approached Golden Lining and gave him a kiss and he started to blush:
"That .. was .. Awesome!"
And I went to my grandmother, and I hugged her. And then she was astonished
"Dash! You have your cutie mark!" I looked and there it was, I was crying with emotion, I thank my grandmother for it all, and so ends my story
