How Rainbow Dash became my best friend

My name is Shadow Wings. I moved to Cloudsdale not too long after flight camp ended. That is when I met the most awesome pony ever! She lived next door. Her cutie mark was a cloud with a rainbow colored lightning bolt.

Her mane and tale where also rainbow colored. Her body was a nice cyan blue. She just got back from flight camp. At least that's what I think. She was wearing a uniform like the Wonderbolts.

The only diffrence was she was too young to be a Wonderbolt. She walked out of her house one day crying. “Hey, what's wrong?” I asked her. “Nothing.” She replied between sniffs. “Anyway I'm Shadow Wings.” I said trying to cheer her up. “I'm Rainbow Dash.” She said wiping away a tear.

“If you don't mind, what happened Rainbow Dash?” I asked. “My best friend moved.” Rainbow said choking back a sob. After that, we started hanging out more. This included, making our own Wonderbolts fan club! It was a lot of fun. Gilda came to visit her from time to time. Not too much.

She could get mean fast. It was actually quite funny. It seemed like everytime Rainbow left, she turned to complete hatred. Rainbow never noticed, but everypony else did. After a few weeks Gilda left.

“Rainbow Dash, want to go flying?” I asked. “Sure dude, race ya.” She replied with a smile. We took off into the sky. The nice breeze on our backs. We were neck and neck! Finally, she made it through and won the race.

It was a lot of fun.
