Once Upon A Normal Day

It Was Only A Dream, Right?

Previous Chapter

A white horizon was all I could see when I opened my eyes. Everything around me started to fade in with color. Town square. Ponies started walking around, minding their own. But it was when Twilight walked by me that I tried to call out to her. My words were silent. My mouth moving, I signaled her, and she looked at me in a frightening face. The purple unicorn walked right up to me.

"You don't belong here, human." her voice rang out. Rarity came up from behind me, ripping apart the dress I had made her into shreds.

"You ruffian!" she screamed. Fluttershy didn't even come near me at all, she was running away.

Her face streaming with tears, she said, "This can't be true..."

Applejack lassoed my hooves together with a rope, leaving me helplessly on my back.

"Ah' can't believe Ah' trusted you." she glared into my eyes. Pinkie came up to me, as I was attempting to scream to her to help me, but I was still forbidden to speak. I stopped trying when I saw her mane and tail. Deflated and dark, along with her coat, as if she were discolored.

"You don't even deserve a goodbye party." The tone in her voice didn't sound sad. It was pure anger and regret making her this way. Rainbow Dash flew behind Twilight, her face holding an expression that I couldn't describe.

"I told you. I told you all. She's no good. Let's get out of here." The cyan pony flew away, the others following her. I tried once more to call out, to tell them that it's all a misunderstanding. To tell them what really happened. But still, my words were silent, as my tears hit the ground. Hearing hoofsteps on the ground behind me made my heart both jump and sink. I turned my head to see Princess Celestia towering over me. A fierce look on her face.

"You have betrayed those who were once your friends, you have betrayed my subjects, you have betrayed the Elements of Harmony, and you have betrayed me. What do you have to say for yourself." As if by magic, I was able to speak again. But it felt very weak, I only had enough energy in my vocal chords for a few words before they snapped.

"I'm sorry..." I tried to call out. It was so faint not even I could hear it very clearly. Her horn began to glow a deathly black. That of King Sombra's hatred. She shot a glob of her magic at me, almost engulfing my whole body in the dark mass. Her voice sounded like that of a demon, pure anger and hatred in her now black eyes. The glob slowly sealing itself around me, I started to try to get out. With my hooves tied together, it wasn't very easy. At the last few moments, before my sight was gone completely, the tall princess was walking away.

"I should have banished you a long time ago when I first sensed something was wrong." The black, sludgy magic creeped over the last remaining parts of my face, coat, mane, and tail. After about a minute or so, I didn't feel the slime around me. I felt as if I were floating. The faces of the Elements' bearers faded into sight, out of what was originally black nothingness. Soon enough, their voices faded in as well.

"You're not one of us!"

"You shouldn't even be alive still!"

"I'm disgusted just at the sight of you!"

Then a last remark from Twilight. "You don't belong here, human."

That comment hit me in the face as hard as a punch would. The ponies' faces disappeared in half the time that they appeared there. I began to fall. I was finally able to use my vocals to call for help, for forgiveness, for something before I die, but all I could do was scream. When I hit something Incredibly hard.
