Adventuring with Class

Chapter 1 ~ casual acquaintances

Rainbow Dash had been preparing for this day all month long, getting her costume just right with a little help from Rarity of course, all for the sake of the premier of the new Daring Doo movie. She had checked her entire costume 3 times to make sure it was absolutely perfect for the movie. When giving the final approval she said a quick good bye to Tank, tipping her hat a little as she walked out the door.

Passing through town in adventuring gear, not many ponies were keen to her taste in fashion eyeing her, and some even avoiding Rainbow as she walked through the street. Simply ignoring the uncool crowd not having any good taste in anything, Dash nonchalantly keeps on walking making sure not to dirty her costume. As she approached the theatre, her eyes widened, grinning from ear to ear, rivaling even pinkies smiles. She quickly ran up to the line of ponies which were just as enthusiastic about watching Daring Doo cinematic.  As she’s hopping up and down excitedly a small tap on her shoulder draws her attention, turning around is this sophisticated, bow–tie wearing, black mane and tail, grey colored earth pony.

“Uh…. Yeah?” Dash said wondering why this pony is even here to begin with.

“Excuse me, would this be the Daring Doo movie premier?” the pony asked. Dash looked at her like she was insane.

“well I’m sorry, I don’t have much time to get out much, Dare I say this is probably the most excitement in… well…. Ever….” The pony said with much regret.

“Here… come sit with me during the movie, I’ll show you what it’s like to… ‘Get out’ after the movie; oh hey, the names Rainbow Dash! You can just call me Dash, or Rainbow, I don’t really care either way” giving a small smirk.

“Oh hello there Rainbow nice to make your acquaintance, my name is Octavia; ponies just call me Tavi though.”

“Cool nam- hey the lines moving forward! Come on; let’s hurry to grab front row seats” grabbing Tavi as she runs to the booth to buy tickets.

“wahh! Slow down!” Tavi protests as Dash zooms through the booth, paying for both tickets, and flying into the theater.

“Whew! Just in time the movies starting!” dash exclaimed.

“I just hope I can get this… recklessness out of my system…. I can’t afford this behavior back home…” Tavi sighed, not looking forward to her daily routine back in Canterlot.

“Tavi, I told you, come hang with me after this, I have some pretty cool plan- shh! It’s starting!” as the lights start dimming and the movie starts playing.
