Chapter 1

The Big Secret

A light brown filly walked around the Canterlot castle with a book in the grasp of her magic. "Oh, why hello Leafoak."  Leafoak turned around and looked at a large shadow casted over herself. Her eyes widened in fear as the looked the pony down, the moonlight of the surprisingly warm night did not help her identify the pony that was standing in front of her. The pony stepped forward into the lights above the light Leafoak was currently under. Leafoak squinted as a bright light flashed in front of her, as if the dim light was reflecting off of something. "h-hello?" Leafoak squeaked in a soft and frightened voice

"No need to be afraid, for its just me, Celestia"  Celestia said in a soft, but reassuring tone. Leafoak eyed down celestia, just to make sure there wasn't a spell behind the pony in front of her.

"oh, uh, hello celestia" Said Leafoak while bowing slightly to one of the royal pony sisters "what brings you out at this time of night?" She slightly exaggerated, joking also to the princess.

"I need to talk to you now" Celestia said nervously, looking around to see if anypony else was around to hear. Leafoak blinked at the princesses nervousness as if she was worried about something.

"o-ok" Leafoak said softly, she quickly glanced around to see anypony around also. She looked up at celestia, and smiled lightly as the princesses horn stared to glow and spit out magic and she disappeared. A simple spell was casted, the teleportation spell. Leafoak took in a deep breath an closed her eyes tightly, concentrating. Her horn spraked and glowed just as celestia's horn has glowed. Soon, she could feel under her hoof wasn't dirt anymore, there were marble floors. She popped open and eye and looked around and then the other and she looked to her left and right then right in front of her. Princess luna and Princess Celestia were in their throne seats and Leafoak could feel both of the princesses displeasure.

"we have to speak with you" Said Luna. Leafoak's calm face had disappeared and a frown appeared in its place. "Do not worry, its not about your studying" Reassured Luna. Leafoak let out a relieved sigh.

"We have to tell you something" said Celestia said this time. Leafoak stayed silent, watching the two princesses.

"we've figured out that celestia isn't immortal anymore and she will die, but not now and if we told other ponies that Celestia isn't immortal anymore, they would probably kill her and take control over Eqestria." Said luna, in a slight whisper. Leafoak looked over to Celestia clowly, noticing her mane baking away and her normally white flank was now slightly grey. She nodded "please continue" she said politely.

"oh, yes, you can not tell anyone, even people you trust greatly, we hope you understand, and now that you know this, please be more careful and keep yourself safe." Luna said with her eyes closed as if in regret and Celesia teleported Leafoak back to her spot with her book. She looked up at the sky then at the castle "I promise ill be extra careful to protect myself, but against what?" Suddenly, some bushes around a tree nearest to Leafoak rustled and moved and she could make out a light pink horn and a pink mane. The pony in the bushes quietly chuckled and grinned as she leapt out at Leafoak.
