For what felt like the fiftieth time, Rarity checked the door to her shop. Locked. Opal occupied with catnip? Check. Making sure the sign in the window did indeed read “closed,” the white unicorn breathed a sigh of relief. She was really, truly, alone. Giddily, she retreated to her own room, locking the door to that as an extra precaution. With a nervous giggle she opened her dresser and dug deep into the back, eventually pulling out a thick, white garment: a cloth diaper. The indigo-maned pony felt a bit guilty as she folded the diaper around her abdomen and securely pinned it (using custom-made pins shaped like her cutie mark, of course). The garment did feel wonderful: warm, thick, fluffy, snug. However, the fashionista had to admit this was very much a guilty pleasure. A full-grown mare, wearing diapers at her age? And one so refined as her, no less! Rarity couldn’t explain just why she liked it; for as long as she could remember, she for some reason had a fascination with the absorbent underpants. Perhaps she was toilet-trained too early? Maybe she simply wanted a piece of her childhood back?
She shook her head. Perhaps she’d never figure it out. Regardless, the mare enjoyed this, even if she was embarrassed by it. The unicorn went back to the drawer and retrieved a waterproof diaper cover and put it on over her padded bottom, taking care to thread the laces and tie the thing securely. The cover was a light blue, with indigo trim, being secured with a string that was also indigo. The unicorn sat on her bed and brought her hind legs together, enjoying the soft bulk between them. She got up and paced around the room, delighting in the feel of the diaper. It was so soft, so comfortable. It made her feel like a foal again, waddling around in the thick garment.
Now Rarity stood where she was—in the center of the room—and let her breath out nervously, her heartbeat starting to quicken. This was it, the moment she had waited all day for. She spread her legs apart, then hesitated. Was she really going to do this? She normally hated getting the slightest bit dirty, and peeing herself would certainly not leave her clean. On the other hoof, she did enjoy the warmth and moisture of a wet diaper, along with the naughty thrill it brought…
The mare stood back up. Perhaps she’d wait after all…Then again, though it was tempting to just wear the diaper and use it while she made her dresses, she couldn’t work like this; it would be too distracting to her artistic vision. She would just have to use it here. She shook her head, then squatted again. She didn’t get free time too often, not with all the dress orders coming in as of late. Add in the almost constant threat of having to babysit her little sister, Sweetie Belle, and it was all too clear she shouldn’t squander an opportunity like this to unwind.
The white pony relaxed her bladder, and pushed. Her face flushed with both embarrassment and excitement as she felt her privates become wet, the fabric between her legs growing warm and heavy as it soaked up her urine. It was a bit hard to hear, but to the trained ear like Rarity’s, a muffled hissing sound was audible. She felt so naughty doing this! It felt so bad…but at the same time, it felt so good! There was a certain thrill to the whole affair, of doing something so vulgar yet so satisfying. The unicorn had to admit, this was some pretty effective stress relief. Rarity was disappointed when her stream began to die down; she pushed a bit more in the hopes of keeping things going a little while longer. Delighted that her efforts yielded a spurt of urine, she pushed again. Another spurt; she guessed her bladder wasn’t quite empty after all.
With the next push, the fashion expert felt something else move. Her already pale face blanched as she realized she had pushed too hard, and now her diaper felt very warm and heavy in the back. She nearly fainted right there, but somehow she managed to retain consciousness. How could she end up doing something like this? She didn’t mean to mess in the garment! Peeing was one thing, but defecating? That was certainly taking things too far. Now, not only was she wet, but she was also sitting in…in…pure filth! Any enjoyment the pony was getting from her strange hobby was certainly gone by now. How could things possibly get any worse?
A white unicorn filly with curly pink-and-purple hair sat up in her bed and blearily rubbed her eyes. “Big Sis, what are you doing?”
Rarity was still trying to process the words that Sweetie just said. "How did she...but...but..I...how.." she said in her mind. She was staring off into space, in deep thought, with her jaw still dropped from disbelief. She went over the possibilities in her mind: "Did she see it? No. Of course not. I made sure to hide it as best as I could, and why was she so joking and not disgusted or curious in her last remark? This just doesn't make sense!" Rarity went over all the possible options and questions she could think of in her mind, until her thought process was cut off by a familiar voice.
"Um, Rarity?" Sweetie asked. "You've been standing in the same spot for like 20 minutes."
"Wai...what?" Rarity said regaining her consciousness.
"I said: You've been standing up here in the same spot staring at the wall for like 20 minutes! It's starting to freak me out!" Sweetie said louder to make sure she had her sisters attention.
"Sorry Sweetie, I'm just confused. How did you know about..." Rarity said as her cheeks turned a bright red.
"I'll tell you when we eat breakfast! Also, really you need to change it's really starting to smell. Seriously hurry up, I'm hungry!" Sweetie protested.
"Alright, fine." Rarity said with a sigh. "Go back into the kitchen and I will hopefully have...freshened up in 5 minutes."
"Fine..." replied Sweetie Belle as she slowly walked away back into the kitchen.
Rarity rushed into her bathroom. She then realized that she was wearing an expensive dress and sighed when she realized that it probably smells like her diapered rear in its current state. she carefully took the dress off and gently folded it and set it on the bathtub. She then looked down at her soiled diaper. "Now, how am I going to do this?" Rarity said to herself. She opened up a cabinet full of miscellaneous bottles and jars that have accumulated over the years. "I really need to clean this thing out more.." She told herself. What she was looking for was a bottle of perfume to cover up any odor after she had cleaned herself, but what she found was even better. She grabbed the unfamiliar bottle and examined it. "Foal powder?" She questioned. On closer examination she realized the date was marked with a date from 16 years ago. "I must have accidentally grabbed this when I was cleaning out the bathroom at mom's house when I moved here." However before she decided to put the bottle back in, she thought to herself: "Well..I don't want to get a rash, and it would probably be better than perfume to cover up the scent." She wouldn't be so lucky when looking for the next item on her mental list though. She needed something to actually clean her flank with. Toilet paper was not strong enough and she didn't have any baby wipes. With a sigh Rarity got out a clean washcloth and soaked it with water. "I'm going to have to do the laundry anyway..." she said as she thought about the mess that lies underneath that plastic shell and soft thick diaper. She then laid down a newspaper that was sitting next to the toilet (for something to read as you use it) onto the ground just in case. She then started to remove the plastic pants, feeling that she is probably going to regret this. The smell was even more pungent now. She then proceeded to lie down on the newspaper on her back, and undid the snaps to the cloth diaper. She opened it, and looked away, fearing the worst. She could definitely smell it now, however when she looked down at the diaper she was quite relieved . To her surprise she hadn't made nearly as big of a mess as she thought. However the diaper was soaking wet. "Did I wet it a second time?" She questioned. She then realized that she was so paralyzed by fear and embarrassment when her sister awoke that she had unintentionally wet herself a second time! Her cheeks changed into a now familiar bright red as she realized what she had done. After the thought had subsided she removed the diaper from underneath her flank and then proceeded to wipe down all of her privates that her "accident" had come in contact with. As she suspected the smell was still remnant. She grabbed the bottle of foal powder and shook it over her diaper-area. It smelled quite good actually! It didn't smell like a high-class perfume but more of a reassuring and relaxing smelling scent. Because of this fact she added a really good amount, most likely a lot more than what was needed. When she was finally done, she smelled of the pungent smell of foal powder. She crumpled up the newspaper and threw it in the trash-bin. She then took her diaper and plastic pants and put them in the shower. She spread a little foal powder on them to hopefully mask the smell. She decided that she would wash her diaper and shower after breakfast.
Rarity panicked. "Why is Sweetie Belle here?!" she thought to herself. As the filly started to awake Rarity was in full panic mode, so without thinking she grabbed a newly designed dress that was gently set on a nearby chair and without hesitation, sloppily put it on. The filly was sitting up now, rubbing her eyes.
Sweetie Belle repeated herself: "Um, Rarity, what are you doing?" she said half-awake.
"Oh I'm just...seeing if this new dress fits me! Yeah, that's what I'm doing!" Rarity said trying not to look embarrassed. "Sweetie, I'm not trying to sound rude or anything, but why are you here?" She added.
"Well you see, Scootaloo, Applebloom, and I were helping Pinkie set up decorations for Raindrops' birthday party, and she asked us if we want to stay for the party. Of course we said 'yes' because we had nothing better to do, so we stayed and it got pretty late" A now fully-awake Sweetie Belle said. "So I used the key under the mat and slept here!"
"Oh, well then" Rarity added trying not to clench her nose at the smell coming from her rear. She was at a loss of words at the moment and completley changed the subject. "So, how about some breakfast Sweetie?" She said nervously.
"Breakfast sounds great, I'm starving!" Sweetie said. She stuck her nose up "I can smell the bacon alr....." Her words instantly came to a halt and she covered up her nose. "EW! That doesn't smell like bacon! It smells like one of the cake twins' need a diaper change" The little white filly said.
Beads of sweat started to run down Rarity's face. "I..um don't know what you are on about Sweetie." She said nervously. Sweetie glanced at Rarity suspiciously.
"Riiiiight." She said. "anyway...let's get out of this room and go get some breakfast. This room smells funny." She said with a small devious smile. She headed for the door and tried to open it to find it locked. "Rarity why won't this stupid door open?" Sweetie said as she hesitated with it.
"Oh, it's locked, Sweetie." The white unicorn replied.
"Oh, okay!" Sweetie unlatched the lock and opened the door. "Why was it locked anyway?" she said curiously.
"Oh..um" Rarity searched her mind to find a believable excuse. "Well you see Sweeitie, I..." She hesitated. "I...don't want anyone barging in here when I am putting on a new dress, it helps me...to stay concentrated so I can find any flaws in it. Yeah, that's exactly why I locked the door!"
"Oh, that makes sense!" Sweetie said as she started to walk into the kitchen. She noticed Rarity not coming and peaked her head around the door. "Rarity, are you coming?" She said anxiously.
"Just, hang on a minute Sweetie Belle, I have to..use the little filly's room." She smiled as her excuse-making skills were starting to improve.
"Alright." Sweetie said. "Oh, and Rarity?"
"Yes, Sweetie?"
"You might want to change your diaper while you're in there, 'little' sister." Sweetie giggled and galloped away. While Rarity stood there in shock.
