Magic Mirror

Twilight Sparkle sat at a table reading up on alicorn spells. Since she was princess now she had many new tasks to take care of. One of them was to study spells to become a more powerful alicorn. It was getting late and she was tired. She was about to put the book up and go to bed when Spike ran in from the other room. "Twilight! TWILIGHT! I have a letter from the Princess!" he yelled. She turned towards him and levitated the scroll towards her. She read it aloud:

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

My dear student, I think it's time you and me had a discussion about your new responsibilities as a princess. I am writing you this letter to inform you that we must meet at the castle as soon as possible. I have to show you something very important that will change your view on the world of magic.

Your mentor, Princess Celestia.

She rolled the scroll up and turned to Spike. "Okay Spike, I need your help with packing. I want to make sure I have everything I can possibly need visiting the princess." she finished. Spike ran into another room and returned with a suitcase. He threw the suitcase onto the table. "Spike I am making a checklist." she said. Spike took out a quill and parchment. "Book on Enchanted Spells, Flashcards, quills," she named many more things and finally finished. "Check!" said Spike. He looked at her and handed her the list. She placed it in the suitcase and closed it shut. Twilight yawned, causing Spike to yawn as well. She walked up to her bed. "Goodnight, Spike." she said, pulling the covers over herself.
