Candy Muffins

Pinkamena explained the best she could."You see, I'v seen potential in you since you were put in the orphanage." Pinkamena said , smiling." I thought that maybe you join in on the buisness when you get older. But, for now you can help in the kitchen." Derpy was curious about the buisness Pinkamena had mentioned."What do you do, Pinkamena?" Derpy asked." Cupcakes. And you can call me mom.You don't happen to like cupcakes, do ya?" Pinkamena asked. "No. I like muffins, though." Derpy said, smiling."Oh...Well were here." Pinkamena said, stopping in front of a gingerbread house-shaped building.

Derpy thought it looked like any other house.Pinkamena showed Derpy to her room.It had a matress laying on the floor and a dirty bathroom. "This is where my old apprentice slept. She was a orange filly about your age." Pinkamena said smiling slightly.Derpy sat down on the filthy matress. "There's only one rule: Don't go down to the basement.Are we clear?" Pinkamena said. "Yes, Mom." Derpy said almost giggling. "This is no joke, Ok Derpy?". "Okay fine." Derpy said, wanting to know what was in the basement."Now, let's go make cupcakes." Pinkamena said."Can we make muffins?" Derpy asked."Its not the tradition but why not?" Pinkamena said.

Pinkamena put on her apron, which had dark red stains on it. Pinkamena got out a bowl and looked in her baren fridge."I'm going to have to go to the store to get some ingredients" Pinkamena said "Don't get into any trouble while im gone, okay?"."I'll try not to" Derpy said smiling. Pinkamena looked worried but relutantly walked out the door, leaving Derpy alone.

Derpy had nightmares that night. She kept imagining what she saw earlier that day. Pinkamena had just left when Derpy became curious about the basement. She opened the creaky door and saw a horrific sight. Blood covered the walls. Derpy walked down the stairs to a table with some tools on it. Derpy tried to stand on her hind legs so she could get a better view but, she knocked the table over. Tools layed everywhere on the floor. Derpy noticed she was bleeding. She started looking around for a bandage. She bumped into a table,yelled, and quickly ran back up stairs into her bedroom.

The next day Pinkamena noticed a scab on Derpy's hoof.Derpy claimed that it came from a papercut, but Pinkamena didn't believe her.Pinkamena raised an eyebrow and went into the basement, telling Derpy not to move. Pinkamena found a table knocked over and tools all over the floor. One of the tools had fresh blood on it. Pinkamena's worst fears had been confirmed.
