"Legends of the begining"
Prolog
Ages ago, a couple of decades before the Era of Ponies, the world we now know in its bigger part as Equestria, was a giant deserted wasteland. The rustling leafs and the splashing of water, were nowhere to be heard and the sun did not rise and set as the night never ended.
The whole planet was in a terrifying state, and there was no hope of change.
It was then, that our God on High looked mercifully on this forsaken land.
In a distant, unknown world, one soul faded away. It committed its life to the flourishing of goodness, but lost it for someone it tried to defend. It was a significant loss for that place, and the further story of those lands is far from happy.
But in return for its good deeds, this soul was brought into the wasteland, which was to become Equestria. On one word spoken by our Maker, it has become the most spectacular place you could ever imagine. The sun had finally risen for these lands. Our Creator gave the chosen soul skills beyond imagination. He also made him immortal, untouched by age and death he could last for centuries, but still be killed. This soul had taken the name of Sagitarius, the shooter, in memory of his previous life. He swore he will now only be obedient to his Lord and Maker.
As years passed, trees grew and died and rivers flowed. Sagitarius spent his each day on exploring lands he was given and training his skills. He managed to recreate the arsenal from the past, from the world he came from, and improved it. Every ability he had, he soon mastered, and when all he could do was done, he was finally able to finish his plans. For what he desired above all, was revenge. Knowing he could no longer return to the world he was born in, all of the anger hidden within his soul flooded this new world. World, he named Terra Pro Ultione. The Planet of Revenge. But he allways used the name “Terra”, just as they used to call their world.
Deep underground he created the Ruby Keep. The only place, where he felt safe and the only place, where, he believed, no one will ever discover the truth. This mythical building was placed underneath Canterlot we know today.
Once on the surface again, he created his accomplice. The Spirit of Chaos – Discord. Then he created new beings, beings which were meant to live just like creatures from the Old World. He created Ponies. Little horses, which were to live, just like he did in his time. He divided them into three groups. The first to be created were the Pegasi, then the Unicorns and in the end came a third group, which did not receive a special name. From the very beginning these three races couldn’t live together in peace, and Discord made sure they could never unite.
It did not take the ponies long, to create three separate kingdoms, ready to slay each other in never ending battles. Sagitarius made sure, everyone would suffer, and no one could ever gain advantage over the rest. Only the standard ponies could produce food, and others had to steal. He taught the Pegasi how to fly fast and how to produce weaponry. The Unicorns, in turn, received the ability to use magic. And only they, could master it, which gave them a distinct advantage.
This world, though still turning, was full of anger, hate, jealousy and death. Blood dripped from walls, children lost families, and fathers lost sons. Cities burned and Ponies were slain. Sagitarius made sure, none who wronged him and opposed him, would survive. This is how the world looked for generations.
But even Sagitarius had to get bored of that; in time.
