Twilight and Trixie wandered the streets until they found an abandon apartment complex overtaken by vegetation. Eager to enter and rest from the long arduous journey that would ensure their survival. Upon entering, they were met with a glimpse of the world they had once known; the main hall almost untouched by nature and undamaged by the vandalism of ponies of the outside world. The artwork of Equestria in the main hall was one to be marveled. But the two were much too tired to take in the sight.

Taking the flight of stairs to one of the upper apartments, the two entered an apartment and blocked the door with the biggest, useless items in the whole apartment and allowed themselves to relax. Trixie fell asleep within the first hour of arrival. Twilight did as well, but has found her dreams to be plagued with nightmares of what had happened before the world became what did.
