Fallout: Rainbows?

Chapter 3: Welcome to the dam.

Celestia slowly gazed at the mysterious creature that called itself "The Courier". Upon meeting his eyes, the "hoo-man" give her a weird gesture with one of its bigger...appendages on its hoof rising up. The creature opened its mouth, and said "Your the princess, i suppose." Celestia nodded, then said "So, "human", why are you here?" The creature responded by saying "Well, ma'am, i just helped some of my other allies, a group called the NCR, run out their enemies from Hoover Dam. While hunting down some stragglers, a portal opened up and that small purple unicorn was looking through it." To emphasize its point, it waved back behind it towards a portal. The portal appeared to lead to a brown sky, with some rusted metal things clustered around it. It appeared there was....blood....scattered around the cars. Celestia then snapped back to the human. "Why is the blood there?", she said. The human rubbed the back of his head and said "It's a long story...."

25 MINUTES LATER

"That sounds terrible....", Celestia said. "How do you go on?". Richards merely sighed, then said "To know that one day we might be able to rebuild...". Celestia knew what he meant, but suddenly saw a twinkle in his eyes. "Wait...Isn't the land clean here, and aren't there a lot of resources here?", Richards said. Celestia saw where he was going, and quickly said "Of course, i might be able to provide land for some of your people." Richards smiled, then suddenly gasped as he realized something. "I still have to report back to the NPR!", he shouted. Running to the portal, he stopped and looked back. "You coming?", he said, making Celestia gasp. "Co-com-coming? On such short notice?". Richards merely smiled, then said "Don't worry, I will keep 'ya safe.".

As the group walked on, Celestia and the mane 6 looked around themselves with shock and awe. To see such a large civilization to fall to such ruin...one shudders to think of it. In the distance, a giant monolithic stone structure spanned the entire river. Never in her entire immortal life has Celestia seen such a feat of engineering. To make it strong enough to hold the entire river from flowing away. As they approached the dam, Celestia noticed more of the humans wearing what appeared to be armor, holding strange metal sticks. As she walked in, the group was promptly greeted with a chorus of "God damn!'s, "Holy shit!"s, and stares. Richard waved everyone off, stating "Il answer you all later...", then led the group to a cement building. As Richard walked in, he noticed a large crowd growing, and he shook his head in mock annoyance and closed the door.
