The School Election

Sweetie Belle smiled, Her favorite teacher Cheerilee was teaching the class. Diamond Tiara was mouthing the words blank flank over and over again and her best friend Silver Spoon was dead asleep drooling across the table. Sweetie Belle was learning on how to get a cutie mark.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders were a group of three filly's exploring and have adventures while trying to get there cutie mark. They never succeeded yet, but they are still hoping. The classroom had pictures on the desk of their adventures, and Cheerilee was always happy to accept it.

There was an apple on the desk that Apple Bloom gave to her and Snails was taking notes a passing notes with his best friend Snips. They were best friends forever, but instead of each other they love someone else too.....

She was the greatest unicorn of all time to them. Even they know she is a fake they are known as her biggest fan.

Sweetie Belle knew these two can never get separated.

Apple blooms eyes glowed and her ears listened to every single detail hearing on how to get the cutie marks with Scootaloo beside her. The classroom was painted with a bright red color with suns and moons all over it.

Cheerilee turned to the chalkboard with her back facing the class and Diamond Tiara turned to Sweetie Belle knowing this was the time to strike. Her mouth gained a smirk and her eyes were as evil looking as Night Mare Moon. Diamond Tiara slammed her Hooves on her desk right next to Snails and passed him a note a whispered to him. Diamond Tiara pointed to Apple Bloom and giggled.

Snails face lightened up with red cheeks and Diamond Tiara sneaked a glare at Sweetie Belle and mouthed Blank Flank over and over again. Cheerilee turned around and shook her head with despair.

"Excuse me Miss Spoon how is cutie marks obtained?"

Cheerilee tapped her foot impatiently and gave a cold mean stare at the sleeping body of Silver Spoon. Diamond Tiara Quickly turned to her best friend and saw the lifeless body of Silver Spoon sleeping in her desk drooling. Diamond Tiara was embarrassed, she kicked her leg under the seat and she was startled awake. Her glasses were crooked and her drool ran from her mouth to the desk. She didn't know what was going on. Her face turned red while she looked at all the class mates laughing their tails off. She straightened her glasses and squinted towards Cheerilee who was tapping her hoof impatiently.

Diamond Tiara kicked Silver Spoon under the desk again and Silver Spoon wiped the drool off her mouth quickly and blurted the answer quickly. She put her head on the desk and covered her face with her hooves. The class was a laughing festival, everyone was laughing. Snails and Sips was laughing and holding each other trying to calm themselves. Cheerilee tried to calm them down and it helped so much. Sweetie Belle saw Scootaloo and Apple Bloom laughing and Sweetie Belle almost felt bad for Silver Spoon. Scootaloo turned to Sweetie Belle still laughing

"This is comedy gold!" Scootaloo stopped to catch her breath and slapped her knee hard which left a big red mark on it. "RainbowDash would be laughing too!" RainbowDash was her idol, She would do anything for her, do her chores, help her with anything she wanted. She only hoped doing this will give her a chance of her giving her flying lessons. Scootaloo thought RainbowDash as incredibly cool. So when or if RainbowDash gives her lessons she would brag about all school year.

"Ok class enough of this nonsense." Cheerilee demanded. She stopped her foot and looked at Silver Spoon with a stern glare. "And you, why were you sleeping in class Miss. Spoon!" Cheerilee scolded. Silver Spoon slumped in her chair embarrassed still not talking. She was scared on what Cheerilee punishment had for her and this was her first time in trouble.

"I..I..I don't know." She whispered quietly hoping no one else heard but Cheerilee. Cheerilee sighed and shook her head.

"Ok you have a warning." Cheerilee looked around the class focusing on Diamond Tiara. "But if this happens again, you will be in big trouble." Silver Spoon felt relieved but knew better. She sat up in her chair ears perked and eyes on the teacher ready to learn.

  Snails turned to Snips and gave him a white piece of paper and whispered to him and Snips giggled with Snails but was quickly hushed by Cheerilee. They sat in there chair looking down on their desk. Cheerilee turned and showed pictures of her without her cutie mark. Everyone complained, Diamond Tiara rolled her eyes and looked at Silver Spoon. Her hooves were on the table and she had a fake smile on hoping Cheerilee wouldn't get mad again.

This lesson was taught almost every single day and everyone was sick of it except the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Snips leaned over to Sweetie Belle.

"Past it to Apple Bloom" Snips whispered and leaned back to his chair. Knowing Diamond Tiara Sweetie Belle looked at the noted cautiously hoping something mean isn't on there. Luck was against her

The word Blank Flank was written all over it with a picture of Diamond Tiaras cutie mark. It said at the top of the paper The Cutie Mark Blank Flanks. Sweetie Belle was shocked on the rudeness that Diamond Tiara wrote.

She looked at Apple Bloom who was happier than ever listening to the lesson. She knew she shouldn't give it to her, Sweetie Belle sneaked a glance at Diamond Tiara who was looking and talking to Silver Spoon giggling. They both looked at Sweetie Belle and laughed. Sweetie Belles ears perked down and she felt bad and crumpled up the note.

Sweetie Belle felt sad that Diamond Tiara was this mean and expected her to give this to Apple Bloom.

Cheerilee turned to Sweetie Belle and smiled gently and looked among the class and got startled.

The bell rung.

Everyone got up grabbing there bags and started to stand up when they were stopped by Cheerilees voice.

"Before you guys leave I have a special announcement for everyone." Everyone stopped and looked at her with questioning glances. "The student council will be holding an election for a new school body president." everyone looked at each other with excitement whispering to each other and getting excited. "If anyone would like to be in it please put your name in the ballad. Put it there by tomorrow." Sweetie Belle faced Apple Bloom excited and Apple Blooms face lit up.

Everyone then left the classroom still excited by the announcement in the classroom.  Sweetie Belle walked out of the door seeing Apple Bloom and Scootaloo talking. Sweetie Belle walked over to them and they hugged each other.

"Hey guys!" Apple Bloom blurted "You guys want to be the president?" Apple bloom said with a smile across her face. Her red mane blew across her face and she blew it away.

"We totally should RainbowDash could help us!" Scootaloo said interrupting Apple Blooms thoughts

"But which one of us should?" Sweetie Belle said. They all looked at each other for a moment. Sweetie Belle looked at Apple Bloom who looked at Scootaloo. They honestly didn't know the answer.

"Oh looks it's the Cutie Mark Blank Flanks!" Apple Bloom looked to her left and saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon walking down giggling. Apple Bloom was furious, she would of walked over to her and wiped the smile off her face but she knew violence wasn't the answer. Not knowing what to say she looked down on the grass.

"What's wrong?" Diamond Tiara said with a pouted lip. "Cat got your tongue." Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon laughed. Apple Bloom got even madder but Scootaloo interrupted her.

"Why don't you bother someone else for a change?" Scootaloo rushed to Diamond Tiara's face and put a mean look into her face. Diamond Tiara backed off like nothing happened.

"I.” She stumbled on words not knowing what to say next. "I'm not scared of you." She finished and they started to blank flank chant again.

"You won’t win the competition!" Scootaloo snapped back. They both giggled.

''Really, you can't beat me, richest pony in PonyVille." Diamond Tiara snapped back convincing herself that was good for a comeback. Sweetie Belle stepped aside avoiding the violence. There was a dirt path leading home. She was very tempted to take it, The sky was clear and the wind was just right. The flowers bloomed of all colors. But she knew she couldn't leave her friend so she stepped right back ready to strike.

"I will compete to be president!'' Sweetie Belle said before thinking. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon looked at each other with grins among there face. Sweetie Belle didn't know what she just got into. Competing against the popular mares.

"Yes she will!'' Apple Bloom snapped. Her eyes determined and focused on Diamond Tiara.

"And she will win and beat you!" Scootaloo snapped back too. They both stepped forward to Sweetie Belle with grins among their faces. Diamond Tiara looked almost nervous but her face went back to evil and mean. They both giggled at the thought.

"Really a blank flank will beat us." Diamond Tiara butted in. "She won’t have a chance!" Silver Spoon said with a giggle and smirk and they both left giggling.

"Why does she got to be so mean." Apple Bloom pouted. She crossed her hooves against her chest and sat on the ground.

"It does ok just ignore her." Sweetie Belle said calming down Apple Bloom. She helped Apple Bloom up and gave her a hug.

"Thanks Sweetie Belle." Apple Bloom replied quietly. "Well I got to go and do my chores." Apple Bloom walked away on the trail leaving only Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle behind.

"Well i gotta go to." Scootaloo said. She scratched the back of her head. "I got to impress RainbowDash with my skills.

She then ran to her scooter by the playground and headed off. Sweetie Belle didn't know what she just got herself into.

She put that thought at the back of her mind and walked home. She hoped Rarity will understand.
