Celestia and Luna narrowly avoid disaster in Canterlot only to find themselves in possession of a changeling with a disturbing horn mutation. He's obviously crazy with all his talk about being "human" and "America", but his appearance has earned him the attention of an ancient and mysterious Order. Each of their members posses strange powers that they plan on using to destroy Equestria and everything it represents!

The changeling, Max, may be the key to uncovering the truth behind the founding of Equestria and the greatest cover-up in history! Not to mention, he is the best chance Equus has to defeat the bad guys' leader, Skull.
