One - Having to pass an entrance exam
"Meteor, Meteor, get up." A concerned-looking mare stands over a bed, slowly rocking the pile of fabric as if expecting it to respond.
"Fiiive... minutes." Surprisingly, the pile of blankets responds in a slow, high-pitched and slightly muffled voice.
"Your entrance exam's today."
Suddenly the blankets move a lot quicker and a messed-up purple mane pops out, followed by a light blue face in which are set a pair of wide, dark pink eyes. She glanced over to the clock, screamed and raced away before the eyes of the mare left standing in the bedroom. The mare sighed; her daughter was so excited about this day, and yet she almost missed it for oversleeping. She was going to have a very bad year if she kept doing that. Maybe she should get her an alarm clock as a birthday present?
In the kitchen, the purple filly darts excitedly around the kitchen, flying up and down, opening and closing cupboards and generally flashing around the kitchen like one of the famous Wonderbolts.
