Mocha Latte is a unicorn living in Canterlot, she owns and runs the cafe 'The Daily Grind'.

As she's visiting an old friend in the artisan district, she has a chance encounter with the mysterious stallion, Ironshod. Ironshod is an Iniltearian, a massive earth pony from the Frozen North. He is quiet, strong and rather handsome. After assisting Mocha with a little door problem, Ironshod discovers that there is more to the mare than meets the eye. Mocha has a mysterious power of her own and it may just help the shy stallion open up a bit.
