When will it end?

Twilight looked towards the hospital door, which opened to reveal Artorias clutching a sword hilt. He was followed by Luna, who was carrying a sleeping stallion on her back. Celestia walked over to Luna and began to inquire what happened. "All in good time sister. First we must give him a bed. "Artorias, Twilight, Celestia and the others all followed her to a new hospital room, where she put the stallion into the covers. Artorias stood by her side, and the Questioning begun.

First was Artorias. "Who are all of you?"

"I'm Celestia, princess of the sun. I control its position and rotation, and I can also harness its power. I have lived for over a thousand years."

"What do you now, those sunlight warriors weren't wrong."

"What?"

"Oh, nothing. Now who are you six?"

"I'm Twilight Sparkle, and personal protege to Celestia." Said the purple unicorn. "I'm Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in Equestria!" Said the rainbow pegasus clothed in shadow. "Ah, I'm Applejack. Nice to meet ya, partner." Said the blond pony in a stetson. "HelloI'mPinkiePienicetomeetyou!" Artorias found himself being spun around by a pink blur. He expertly reached out and grabbed her by her mane. He held her up, gave her a once over and a nice to meet you, then set her on the ground. "I'm F-Fluttershy." said a small voice. Artorias looked for the source and saw a flash of pink in the door. He walked over and held out his hand. A small yellow hoof came out and shook his hand then hid itself. He turned around and looked to the last of the six. "And who are you, my lady?"

"Oh I'm so flattered. My name is Rarity darling." Responded the purple maned fashionista. Artorias looked towards the adventure mare, who was toying with her head bandage. "Who are you?" He asked.

"Oh, my name is Daring, Daring Doo. I'm an adventure, and I travel around the world looking for treasures."

"Alright, just don't take an arrow to the knee."

"Um, okay?"

"Also, who are you?" Artorias directed this question to the midnight princess, who was sitting on a stool by the sleeping stallion.

"I'm Luna, the goddess of the night. I control the moon, and watch over the world of dreams."

"I see."

"Who are you?" Asked Celestia.

"I am Artorias of the Abyss. I am one of the four knights of lord Gwyn."

"Where do you come from?" Asked Twilight.

"I come from Lordran, the realm of lords. It was there where I served lord Gwyn and protected the flame."

"The flame? What's that?" Asked Luna.

"The flame is the light of the world. It is our warmth, and our safety. Without it, the world would be plunged into the Dark."

"What were you doing last?" Rainbow asked.

"I was with my companion Sif, and we were challenging the Abyss."

"W-who is S-Sif?" Inquired Fluttershy.

"Sif was my best friend, and a wolf."

"What happened?"

"We were swarmed by monsters in the Abyss. As we neared a cliff edge, I used my shield to surround Sif in a magical barrier to protect him till help came. The monsters then pushed me off the cliff and to my death, or so I thought."

"I'm sorry." Said Fluttershy.

"It's ok. Really. I'll find a way back and save him."

"What's the Abyss?" asked Celestia.

"The Abyss was a poison that corrupted the land of Oolacile. It poisoned the landscape, and killed the world. I traveled there to defeat he source of the poison, Manus."

"Manus?"

"A fiend who unleashed the Abyss. He was once a simple Mage, but dabbled in the arts of black magic, growing corrupted and becoming a fiend."

"Did you have any friends?" asked Pinkie.

" I had Sif, but I also had another by the name of Ciaran. She was one of the Lords Blades, assassins of Gwyn. We worked together from time to time. But it is a bad omen to see the Darksign in a peaceful place such as this."

"Darksign?" Inquired Luna.

"Yes. The Darksign is a symbol of the undead. Those marked with the Darlsign can never truly be killed. They will just die, come back to life as a hollow, and then attack anyone on sight."

"Hollow?"

"It's a condition where they lose their mind and go insane. This can only be cured with humanity, a mysterious black sprite found on corpses."

"Oh."

"Yes."

"Actually, I have a question for miss Doo." said Twilight.

"Shoot."

"Why are you so close to Ponyville?"

"I came here to see a sister of mine who lives here. She keeps me in-touch with the world, and publishes my stories."

"What! Who is she!?" shouted Rainbow.

"Her name is—" Daring never got to finish because a certain gray mare crashed through the window, slamming into Daring.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. My muffins blew off and I chased them, but I didn't see the hospital." The gray mare pulled herself off the floor, and turned around to help up the mare she knocked over. "I'm really sor— sis!" The gray mare grabbed Daring in a hug.

"Everyone," said Daring, "I want you to meet my sister, Ditzy Doo."

"WHAT!!!" shouted Rainbow. "I can't believe it!"

"Then don't." said Ditzy. She looked around the room, her gaze finally resting on Artorias. "Hey."

"Yes?"

"Want a Muffin?"

"What's a Muffin?" "There was a very audible smack as Ditzy's jaw hit the floor.

"What! You've never had a Muffin!? Here, eat one now." Ditzy flew up and shoved a muffin into Artorias' mouth. He simply chewed the muffin, his face thoughtful.

"It's...good?"

"Alright then." said Ditzy, a smile on her face. "Oh sis, Did you have a new story for me to publish?"

"Yup, I sure do." Daring pulled out a leather-bound book, and put it in Ditzy's satchel. As this was happening, Artorias saw a compass rose on the flank of Daring.

"What's that?" He inquired, pointing to the mark.

"What, don't you have cutie marks where come from?" Asked Twilight.

"No, and what do these marks symbolize?"

"They symbolize your special talent."

"I see." As Artorias opened his mouth to speak, a huge explosion came from the center of town. He snapped his mouth shut, and walked out the door. Most of them followed him, eager to see the commotion. Luna stayed behind to watch Equinox, whose eyes began to flutter.
