Sketch has always been teased for his looks. He looks like an alicorn, but he isn't royal. He's a half-life hybrid from a marrige between an Earth pony and an alicorn. He isn't a pure alicorn; he has wings, and can use magic, but he is a weak flyer and his magic is as basic as a unicorn in kindergarten. As if his hybrid body wasn't enough, something that happened when he was only a foal has been haunting him ever since.

When Sketch arrives in Ponyville, he is looking for a fresh start. And he has certainly found it. He eventually becomes friends with the Elements of Harnony and many others. Friendship is never easy, but worth it.
Everything seems to be going along fine for the recent arrival. But when his past comes back to haunt him, will his new found friendship survive? Or is acceptance another wasted dream?
