Descension
"But how can one be a Hero through mere suffering and paltry acts of kindness?"
With the death of his friend and confidant, Patroclus, Achilles is left to ponder his own heroic ascension whilst battling upon the gore-soaked fields of Troy. With his predicted death by Paris' arrow, his spirit is thrust down into the Underworld, down into the deepest pits where no light can reach him. By the kindness of his favoring mother, he is granted passage to another world, a place where he can flourish in a reincarnated body and have his Heroism still intact, along with his dear Patroclus.
Equestria, however, has its own definition of what a 'Hero' truly is.
