The long fought war between Autobots and Decepticons came to a close on Cybertron, when the planet’s core was corrupted and the Ark, destroyed. Those who were not beyond repair were fixed by Primus and stored deep within Cybertron, in a vault that only a Prime could unlock. None remained after the conflict. Megatron fell at the hands of Optimus Prime, who in turn succombed to his wounds from the battle. Any who remained, ran out of energon. Primus began a new era. He forged a new race, the Ponytronians, modeled as a hybrid of equine creatures from a distant planet and his former creations. These Ponytronians rebuilt Cybertron with the help of Primus, who then renamed the planet after the new inhabitants. After a many years of peace, the conflict arose once more when one known as Luna, took on the mantle of Nightmare Moon, and became leader of the Lunarcons. The other side following no leader, but simply fighting for their freedom. The Council soon deemed that a certain Ponytronian by the name of Celestia, would be the one to lead their cause. With that decision, Celestion Prime was born, and began leading the Solarbots.
