A Real Dragon, Someday
“Spike was just an ordinary dragon; living in Canterlot he was the number one assistant to Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia herself.
Until that fateful day, when Twilight Sparkle was sent to Ponyville. What would stop her faithful assistant from following her anywhere she went? Spike is a loyal friend, I wish more ponies would give him credit for that.

“Sweetie Belle!” Rarity called from outside her door.
The filly quickly put down her quill and stuffed her diary under her blanket.
“Yes, sis?” She called to the door
The white mare let her self in the room
“Sweetie, I told you to be packed an hour ago! I can’t watch after you tonight, I am simply too busy! Mother and Father are waiting for you downstairs.” She said with a huff
Sweetie only hid her snout in the blanket, saying
“Oh... Sorry, sis. I-I’ll be down in a minute”
Rarity let out a sigh.
“It’s quite alright, darling sister. Just hurry down. Oh, and Applebloom asked me if she could stay the night while I was in town today. I told her to ask our parents, as you’d be staying back with them. So do expect her company sometime today” She said before turning to leave the filly to pack.
As the door closed, Sweetie Belle retrieved her diary and quill from under her blanket. Quickly, she began writing again.
“When he fell in love with a mare who didn’t love him. I love you, Spike. And one day I will save you from this evil mare, and you will be mine XOXO”
