"The others are going back to their home to pack up for the trip, we will have to leave first thing tomorrow." Twilight said, "But we still have today to go look around the town.".

That sounded great, in the midst of all this terror, there was still some room for fun. "Yeah, let's do that." I replied.

Twilight opened the door, I was blinded by the sunlight. I stepped on to the soft Equestrian soil. The air around me was cool and had a slight breeze along with it. It sure was a busy day around Ponyville, ponies were everywhere. I began to recognize some of them, Derpy, Lyra, Dr. Whooves, Bon Bon. "I know this really good restaurant near the town square." Twilight said, "You'll love it.". I continued to walk with her. "Why does no one here seem to care that the Chrystalite king is returning?" I asked. Twilight answered me without even looking away from the road, "We didn't want to start a panic, as far as they know, it's just a meteorite that will make landfall tomorrow.". Twilight extended her hoof in front of me, "We're here." she said. We took a seat on some hay (wich felt strange compared to the chairs of the human world). A navy blue mare stepped up to the table, "Welcome, what can I get for the star crossed lovers today?". Twilight blushed, "Oh, no, he's just a friend." she said, clearly embarrassed. After we had ordered she turned to me, "By the way, when we talk about the whole Vargas thing, don't call Vargas by name, just call it V-14b." she said. I finished drinking the carrot-flavored cola that I had ordered, "What the hell does V-14b mean?" I asked. Twilight looked at me, "V obviously stands for Vargas, the rest we just came up with ourselves." she answered. After we finished eating, a question came to my mind, "Where will I be sleeping?" I asked. Twilight smiled at me, "In my bed of course, I have a sleeping bag so I'll sleep on the floor." she replied. I smiled back, "Come on now, I'm the guest here, I should sleep in the sleeping bag." I said. "Oh don't humble yourself," she said "a great hero needs a rest.". I was shocked at Twilight's hospitality, no one in the human world was this nice hell, she barely knew me. But hey, I'm not arguing.
