No matter where she looked she couldn’t seem to pinpoint the source of the noise though. The reflection of the clock on the wall suddenly caught her attention. It was only ten o’clock. She hadn't been asleep for very long. With a deep yawn she sleepily strode into the den where her ever-so-pretty tree twinkled from the corner. She, Spike, and Sweetie Belle had put up and decorated the whole thing together. A warm feeling radiated through her every time she was near it. She could also remember putting together each and every present that glistened beneath the tree, with Spike's help of course. Then she saw one she didn't recognize. It was rather large too. Had Spike made this one for her? Her curious hoofsteps echoed through the house as she carefully looked for a tag. Twilight nodded and the fashionista trotted off into the kitchen. Twilight glanced about the room and couldn’t help but remark on the tidiness of the place. Everything was so organized and pretty.

Rarity came back a few moments later with two cups of hot apple cinnamon tea which she promptly placed on the table next to the couch. The two mares sat eagerly sipping their tea before Rarity noticed that Twilight was being unusually quiet.
"So, what brings you here?" Rarity asked curiously.
