2 years before Applejack left for Manhattan...

"Come on please..."

"I'm sorry but no."

"Come on dad let us go with you."

"At least this once. It could be a family trip to our house in Ponyvill. It could be so much fun."

"We could meet a whole bunch of new people."

"And neighbors."

"And see new places."

"You really want to come visit your mother?"

"Oh yeah!" We both say spreading our wings in anticipation.

"Ok fine you can come. But NO, under any  circumstances can you visit our neighbors. NO going to the apple orchard, got that?"

"Yes sir dad person." We solute him. He laughs at us. No one notices my fingers crossed behind my back though.

When we get to Ponyvill...

"This our house here do you like it?"

"I do how bout you Dash?"

"Yeah, it's awesome. Hay Silver want to look around?"

"Yeah!"

We take off. I just love flying. We both do, but you would kind of expect us to have a little something in common. I mean we're twins aren't we? Well we are, and we do. "Hey Silver?"

"Yeah Dash?"

"You had your fingers crossed didn't you?"

"Yep, you?"

"Oh yeah, I mean it's a apple orchard, what harm can be done at least flying over it?"

"I know right... Come on let's go." I node and we fly towards the vast expanse known as Sweet Apple Acres.

When we finally get there both of our mouths are agape at the sight. Acres and acres of apple trees each one spotted with delicious red apples. "Wow!" We say in unison.

"Those trees sure look comfy and those apples look tasty."

"Rainbow, is the only thing you can think of food and sleep?" I node. She laughs at me.

"Hey, at least I'm not ALWAYS thinking about... What do you always think about again?" She laughs at me again.

"Finding a special somebody."

"Right... At least I don't obsess over that..." My voice trails of when I see her.

It's always been this thing that my dad really hates about me, I'm just not attracted to boys. He try's to keep me away from girls because of it. He says its wrong and that I'm broken, he thinks he can fix me.

"That's her!" I've been having dreams about this 'girl' all I know is that before mom was put in the hospital, for reasons unknown to me, she told me that only true love you know before even meet them. I had a dream about a girl, she was blonde (I remember this dream crystal clear) and had beautiful green eyes. She was waving at me. I remember the smell and taste of apples and her smile. The most beautiful sight ever, this girl.

"The one from your dream?" I node. "Do you think dad put it together when he met her or something and that's why he didn't want us to come here?"

"Yeah, now I need to meet her..." I'm about to start flying down when she stops me.

"Wait, Rainbow you should wear a disguise or something just in case."

"Yeah ok, where am I going to get one?" She smiles widely.

"Follow me..." She takes off towards Ponyvill with me in her wake. She leads us to the sugar shop called Sugar cube Corner.

"Why are we here of all places?"

"Because I heard every once in a while a little pink pony comes and lives with the Cakes while collecting stuff for her family's rock farm out side of town. She loves to be weird. She might have something."

"Yeah ok, so is she here?"

"I don't know but we should ask." Then we walk in to see no one there.

"Hello is somebody here?" I call out to get a sound from the kitchen in return. Then a tall man with orange hair green eyes and a striped tie walked out of the kitchen with a huge smile on his face.

"Yes, would you like something?" He says in a cheery voice that's super happy but not creepy.

"Yes actually, we were wondering if Pinkie was here?"

"Oh, yes she is she just up the stairs. Her door is furthest to the right." We thank him and head up the stairs and to the room he directed us to.

Knock knock knock. "You can come in!" Comes a sing song voice from inside. We enter and she doesn't seem confused at all to have to identical strangers just come into her room.

"Hi are you Pinkie Pie?" Oh Silver stupid question much.

"We'll duh, who are you?"

"I'm Silverbloom, this is my sister Rainbow Dash. We came to ask you a favor."

"Ask away." She sits on her bed and just stares at us.

"Well, actually Dash wants to ask it." I glare at her as I step forward.

"I need a disguise."

"Really... Ok!" Then she goes into her closet and comes out with a big box. "What kind?" I just stare, she's a natural prankster.

"To look like someone else, like a spy, kinda... You know what I mean right?"

"Not to be yourself?" She gasps.

"Well just to hide my real identity so I can go undercover."

"Oh... Wait! Let me look at you." She walks up and scans me up and down then flips over my hand to look at my wrist. "Sorry Dashie can't happen yet... She's not ready." Then she hands us a cupcake and shows us the door before adding. "Her names Applejack by the way and you have to wait for her to come to you or very baddy bad stuff will happen. Not only to the two of you but to your family and me and people you don't even know yet. So stay away from her you got that? Stay. Away. From. Applejack." Then were out the door and she's gone.

"That's a really pretty name."

"What?"

"Applejack, I have got to meet her."

"Didn't you hear Pinkie, you can't Dash. You will put people you love and don't even know in danger you just can't ok."

"Ok." Fingers crossed.

"Put both hands up where I can see them and promise."

"No, I have to meet her." I take off towards the orchard and land at the front gate.

"Dash don't! Please, I'm begging you, don't!"

"I'm sorry Silver I just have to. I see her even when I'm not dreaming now. She's invading my life and I haven't even said 'hi' to her."

"If you go in there I'm gone. You hear me. I'll just fly away. You go in there and you won't hear from me ever again."

"You can't put this on me Silver. You don't know what it's like to go every waking and sleeping moment with this person who isn't even there. I just have to."

"Yes I do Dash!" Then a tear slides down her face. "I'm obsessed with finding that special somebody because they haunt me everywhere the only difference between you and me is that someone told you to wait. They told you to wait because if you don't then others will get hurt. I haven't found them and you have so just wait and protect them from the side lines. She will wait for you."

"I'm not the patient type." Then I take a step into the gates and more towards a blonde farm pony.

"I will find you when she remembers you."

Then I realize, sometimes you do have to wait. But it WAS to late she saw me. Our eyes locked. I took off to see her stare at me. A chain of events happen because she stared at me.

A fire at the out skirts of the orchard isn't put out in time and our house is set to flames. My mom had just come home and now her and my dad were burning alive. My sister is long gone and I'm the reason they died.

A few months before Applejack leaves for Manhattan...

"MAC!!!!" I hear her scream. I've been watching her for a while to see what else goes wrong and to try and prevent it. "PA!!!! IT'S COMIN GET IN HERE MA NEEDS YA!"

"Applejack run as fast as ya can ta tha hospital and tell them ta get over here as fast o' possible. Got that?"

"Yes sir dad sir." She solutes him then starts her run to the hospital with me hiding behind a cloud while following her. She stops and looks up at me."Your Rainbow aren't ya?"

I peak over the edge. "Yep... How do you know my name?"

"Ah have dreams."

I look over further. "Really, I thought I was the only one... Weren't you going somewhere?"

Her eyes go wide and she takes off again. She's really fast. I mean super fast. She is actually a small challenge to keep up with.

Back at the farm after the screams die down...

I'm just waiting, then the front door swings open and a teary eyed Applejack runs out. She runs to the back of the orchard and follows a path to discover 'a place'. I land in front and peak in. "Are you ok?" Stupid question time for me now.

"Do ah look ok?"

"Ok it was a stupid question. Do you want to talk about it?"

"I don't even know you. I don't know why your in my head. My mom just left mah family. GO AWAY, please." I walk in kiss her on the forehead and then I 'go away'.

2 months before she leaves...

"Mac, wake up, Mac." She was shaking him and tears were rolling down her face.

"What is it AJ?"

"He's gone. He just left." Then she falls to the ground in tears.

"Who left? AJ what are ya talkin bout?"

"Dad. Ah woke up from... Dreams. And I heard somethin, ah looked out the window and there he was walkin down the road. He just left."

"Oh." Is all he got out before he picked her up and held her close. "We'll get through this. Ok we'll get through this."

1 week before she left...

"Ah'm gonna go." She's sitting a the dinner table. "In a week. Ah'm all packed ta go. Ah will miss ya guys." Then she stands up yawns and goes to bed.

"Only a week left Granny."

"Ah know Mac, ah know."

She opens her window and I fly in. "Your really leaving aren't you?"

"Ah'm sorry Rainbow but ah have ta."

"No you don't. Your just telling yourself that but you don't have to go."

"Yeah ah do." Then she leans over and whispers something in my ear and kisses my cheek. "Good bye Rainbow. Ah will come back, ah promise."

"Tell me that with both hand where I can see them." I repeat my sisters words.

"Sorry ah cant so that."

The day of the surgery in Manhattan...

I burst into the room. "You better come back you hear me, you better come back."

She puts both hands in the air. "Ah promise. Just stay with meh."

I put both hands up. "I promise." We smile at each other.

"Surgery starting. Everyone clear the room."

"Can some stay with her for moral support?"

"Miss it's your pick." He says turning to AJ while pointing at us.

"Stay with meh, please?" She says locking eyes with me. I node and sit down next to her.

The door swings open and a nurse walks in with a worried look on her face. She whispers something in the doctors ear and her looks worried too. "We have to try. Give her all we got." They do and the surgery starts. I'm with her the whole time.

When she wakes from her coma she has no memory of me. I guess that's a good thing. I head back to Ponyvill to wait for her to return home.
