My Humanized Pony: High School is Magic
Chapter 1
Disclaimer: I do not own any Friendship is Magic. This is my first fanfic, as you probably skipped in the giant ass description. I am really bad at writing, so I will be going back and editing like everything over and over again. Alot of this chapter will me rambling on about people and character development but it will slowly get to alot of good dialogue. We're going to start with Fluttershy's side of the story.
Birds chirp outside of Flutterhy's window as she wakes, and turns to look out the window, only to see the group of songbirds that had woke her with their simple melody. This was going to start being a regular thing, now that school is starting up. Today was her first day at Ponyville High School. She was a 9th grader and was not only excited but also nervous about going to a new, bigger building, with new, bigger people. Her arms fly up in the air, and her wings stretched out taut, she sighs deeply as she stretches her way out of bed."Good morning birds," she smiles out as she pulls the cover off of her body and walks over to her dresser. When she approaches the cabinet, her attention is caught by a small rustling sound at the bottom of her shelves. "Hello Angel Bunny!" Fluttershy smiled and dropped some celery in between the white rabbit's metal cage bars. She had already prepared her outfit for the day. It was a pair of cute white shorts and a soft pink sweater that was obviously 2 sizes to big for her. She liked the extra room though. She looked at herself in the mirror. Fluttershy, you actually look cute today! Guess those workouts really helped then huh. "Yeah you do look really cute Flutters!" Her self-assuring thoughts were abruptly cut off by the sound of her best friend, Derpy Hooves, flying in the window she had just run in to a few seconds before. Derpy may be a little clumsy, but she could be a very smart person. Derpy and Fluttershy have been friends their whole life. Her real name was Ditzy Doo Hooves, but everyone including her family called her Derpy. This was because of her lazy eyes. She wasn't offended by this though, as she wasn't offended easily. It set her apart from the other kids, made her different, and she was fine with it. Although one didn't exactly always go the right way, her eyes were a beautiful golden, along with her long, gorgeous hair. Fluttershy used to be jealous of Derpy's looks, but lately she has been working on being " more self confident. This was hard for Fluttershy, even being the pretty young girl that she is. She really was cute, she just didn't really believe so."Thanks Derpy. You look really pretty too." Fluttershy happily responded. "Thanks, I just kind of threw something together." Fluttershy put on her makeup and gathered her school supplies. She was nearly ready for school, but her stomach was starving. "Man Flutters, I mean it. Looking like that, you'll get yourself your first boyfriend in no time. Just watch. All those high school boys won't be able to keep their hands off of you!" This comment made Fluttershy happy, yet kind of scared for all of that attention. " I guess we'll see" is all Fluttershy could think to respond with. "C'mon Derpy, we don't want to be late for out first day!" They rushed downstairs to see Fluttershy's parents greeting them with smiles and hugs. "Oh my, look at you. Can you believe how fast she's grown up, honey?" Fluttershy's mother half-rhetorically asked her husband. "Yes, she really has. It seems like just yesterday we were getting you ready for your first day of kindergarten. Just remember to get something to eat before you go, so you're not too hungry at school, ok?" Fluttershy reassured him by opening the fridge and grabbing a glass of orange juice. "Do you want anything Derpy? Help yourself sweetie." Fluttershy's parents offered. "No, thank you, it's ok. I had a few banana nut muffins before I came over." They nodded in understanding. Fluttershy ran into the bathroom to brush her teeth, as she heard a familiar noise outside. "The bus! C'mon Derpy, it's here!" She said her goodbyes to her parents, and ran out to the bus, on her way for the first day of the next big step in her life.

Hey you guys i'm thinking I am going to do most of my chapters from Fluttershy's perspective. So if it changes to someone else's i'll tell you, and i'll tell you when it changes back to Flutters.
After a not too long and rather quiet bus ride, Fluttershy stepped off the bus and stared at her school. "So this is Ponyville High?" Her thoughts were cut off by a unfamiliar voice somewhere behind her. "Kinda lame if you ask me." She saw now where the voice was coming from, as a young girl with jeans and a white tank top, and long hair dyed almost in the color of a rainbow. It didn't look bad though, Fluttershy thought. Not bad at all. Fluttershy knew this girl. It was Rainbow Dash, one of the most popular, or should I say infamous girls in school. She was always causing trouble, pulling pranks and slacking off. She didn't have bad intentions, rather was just not too fond of school. She was very nice though. In the 4th grade, Fluttershy was getting picked on by two other boys in her grade during recess. She was trying to race with all of the other kids, but she tripped and fell. However, Rainbow Dash cut in and not only told the boys to lay off, but helped her back up. They hadn't really talked much other than that, but Fluttershy still was quite fond of Rainbow.
Derpy interrupted her off trailed thoughts. "What's your first period, Flutters?" Fluttershy looked down at her paper. Geometry Was in bold letters across the paper. "Oh I have gym." They both were let down that they didn't share first period. They checked their schedules to reveal that they shared no classes. "I've heard the geometry teacher's a pain in the ass." the Rainbow haired girl added in. "Oh well." Fluttershy responded. "She definitely wont be in a good mood if i'm late the first day. Let's get going." They walked in through the big maroon doors to reveal what seemed like a whole different universe. They looked to their schedule to find the room number for their first period. They made their way across the school until something caught Derpy's eye. "Ooooh! Flutters, they sell muffins in the cafeteria! C'mon we have time lets go get one!" Fluttershy wasn't too excited about this idea though. "No, i'm good Derpy, but you go grab one for yourself ok?" Derpy nodded in understanding and rushed off to buy herself some more breakfast. Not really knowing what to do, Fluttershy decided she would wait for her to get done buying a muffin. She sat down on one of the chairs in the commons and waited for her friend's arrival.
" HI HI HI HI HI HI HI HELLLLOOOO!!!" Fluttershy screamed and jumped out of her chair. She looked up to see a cute, smiling girl with fluffy pink hair and an extremely colorful outfit (although mostly composed of pink) bouncing up and down. "Hi i'm Pinkamena Pie. But you can just call me Pinkie Pie. Or Pinkie. Or Pinks. Or P. Whatever you prefer, really. I saw you sitting over here and I thought you looked lonely but then you were smiling and then I realized I didn't know who you are and then I thought well I need to be friends with everyone in the school and then I thought well maybe I shouldnt bug you but then I decided I would come say hi. So hi!" After politely letting the pink ball of energy finish, she replied "Hi Pinkie. I'm Fluttershy, nice to meet you." "Oh it IS nice isn't it? So who's your friend? Is it a boy? Or a girl? Or a alligator? Or a-" Her voice was cut off by one much softer and slower.
" Pinkie, I think that's enough. Hi. I'm Twilight Sparkle." Fluttershy was happy that people were introducing themselves. Maybe making more friends wouldn't be as hard as she thought. "Hi, i'm Fluttershy." Twilight responded "That's a very pretty name. I like your sweater too." This made Fluttershy smile. She could spot Derpy approaching them. "So me and Pinkie came over here to ask, well, if you wanted to sit with us at lunch today. In high school, I think it should be best if we stick in groups." Fluttershy liked the sound of this idea. "We also have my cousin, Rarity, and her friend Applejack. They are 9th graders too, and both very nice. What do you say?" Fluttershy was overjoyed with all of this. And before first period! "Oh why yes! Yes I really would." Twilight and Pinkie were both happy to hear that news. "Well then, we should probably get to class." They exchanged phone numbers and left Fluttershy to her friend.
Just soon after, Derpy arrived. "Who was that Flutters?" Fluttershy couldn't wait to tell Derpy all about it. She explained to her the situation, and offered her a seat. Derpy however, also had a story to share. While she was buying a muffin, she was greeted by a few kind ponies with the same offer. She accepted, and wanted Fluttershy to join them. Instead, they both agreed to join their respective groups of friends during lunch. The first bell rung, which told them that in 5 minutes the late bell will ring. "I am gonna go ahead and go to 1st period. See ya later Fluttershy! Text me!" And fluttershy left for her first class.
