For the sake of this story we shall assume that there was a short interval in between Discord being reanimated and the start of his full-blown reign of chaos. It is in this brief interval that the story is set. If this slight liberty with the timeline of the main canon upsets or annoys you, then I can assure you that this story is not for you, because it will surely be the least upsetting and horrible part of the story to come.
We were shown how Discord dealt with the main cast, and with the town of Ponyville in general, but what of a certain trio of youngsters who set him loose in the first place? How would the Lord of Chaos and Strife show his gratitude?

As we shall see, getting on some people's good sides is hardly better than being their enemy.
