If you could describe the whole feelings that Vinyl Scratch, the famous DJ of Pony Ville and maybe the best one in Equestria had right now you could put it into one word:

Monday.
Bucking Monday.
Who was the ‘brilliant’ pony that invented Monday anyway? It was the most useless and horrible day in the world, heck even the word ‘Monday’ was dumb, it was hard to pronounce and sounded SO unnatural for any being’s throat.
These thoughts filled our favorite DJ’s head as she woke up to admire the gloriousness of Celestia’s sun; everypony could guess that Vinyl hated Mondays, mainly because it was the only day she had to wake up an hour earlier to organize her plans for the week, however she wouldn’t let her eternal battle against Monday’s mess up in the way of loving every single being for the fact that she and Octavia were now mothers.
“Windblow! Wake up! You’re gonna be late for school!” shouted Octavia as Vinyl greeted her in the kitchen with a half-eaten bowl of cereal.
“OH BUCK! IT’S MONDAY!?” shouted the boy causing Octavia to facehoof and Vinyl to chuckle, it seemed that now her son had joined her in her battle against Mondays
“That kit, I’m gonna have a serious conversation with Windblow about that mouth of his when he gets home” Vinyl shivered at Octavia’s treat to sermon Windblow the poor kid would have to get a chat of 4 hours if he had luck
After a rather normal breakfast, ignoring the fact that Windblow and Vinyl had a deep conversation about the mysterious flavor of their cereal, Windblow stood outside the door with his clothes on and the feeling that Monday’s nightmare had only began
“Are you sure you can do it Vinyl?” asked Octavia with her cello in her back
“No problem Octavia, the stallion that made the appointment got sick so today I’m free, I’m gonna leave Windblow to school, don’t worry” Vinyl answered earning a smile from Octavia as she and her son went to the school
‘I think it had got bigger’ thought Vinyl as she and Windblow wandered to the school entrance, it was indeed truth, in the past years after the several reconstructions of Ponyville, Mayor Mare put extra effort in making the schoolhouse bigger, the playground’s terrain had been doubled and the main building too, it was easier to move the students on it and because of that it had more ponies than before
“Hello Miss Scratch” greeted Cheerilee “I might guess this is Windblow right?” Windblow nodded
“Are you gonna be my teacher miss?” asked Windblow with a tiny voice, sounding like a pacific angel, a total opposite of the reality but hey, he was a good actor
“Yes Windblow, my name’s Cheerilee and I’d appreciate if you call me teacher in class” she said earning a nod from Windblow “now why don’t you wait on the hall while I chat a little with your mom?”
“Okay, see you later mom” Windblow gave Vinyl a hug and a peck on the cheek before running his way to the hall
“Now Vinyl, I must guess you’re aware of your son’s peculiar appearance” asked Cheerilee as Vinyl showed her an adoption certificate with Celestia’s sign on it
“I am aware Cheerilee but as you can see we’ve got the princess permission, if it makes you feel better she said she’ll visit him today after school, you can come too if you’re still not sure” Vinyl said before Cheerilee bowed
“I’m sorry if I sounded rude but I just wanted to make sure everything was okay with Windblow, he seems like a good colt” said the teacher as Vinyl smiled at her
“Yeah, he’s a cute little troublemaker just like his mother” Vinyl smiled to the teacher
Time Skip
“Listen class!” said Cheerilee as the large group of ponies sat down “since today we’re going to have a new student in the class” this of course caused a huge explosion of questions to the teacher
“Is he a filly or a colt?”
“What is he?”
“Is she cute?”
Cheerilee snickered at her student’s curiosity “why don’t you ask him yourselves? Come on sweetie!”
After a minute or so Windblow entered the classroom causing all the looks of the ponies to lock on him
“Well hello everypony” greeted Windblow as he waved his hand to the ponies who watched him silently, although it wasn’t unheard the existence of hands because of the griffons, it was still quite a shock to see one
“My name’s Windblow Scratch, I don’t have a cutie mark or whatsoever but I’m good with music thanks to my momma” he spoke to the fillies and colts, unconscious that the class little troublemakers aka CMC shared a single thought in their minds ‘New recruit’
“And as for what I am…” everypony in the room muted waiting Windblow’s answer “I dunno!” If this was an anime everypony would have fallen comically on the floor, but since this isn’t one all of them stared silently at Windblow, the silence prevailed until one of the fillies broke the silence with a statement, causing Cheerilee to mentally sigh knowing that this’d lead to a further headache
“Then you’re just another freak!” said/yelled the light pink earth pony known as Diamond Tiara, daughter of Filthy Rich and known as the unofficial bully of the class
Windblow however seemed to be unaffected by Diamond Tiara’s insult causing her to become confused
“Didn’t you heard me freak? I’m talking to you!” she now yelled as she approached Windblow alongside Silver Spoon
“As if you were in any position to call me a freak, toothpaste hair” everypony in the class laughed loudly at Windblow’s remark, even Cheerilee started to chuckle a bit, it was a brilliant remark to the little pony; Diamond Tiara was outraged as expected but decided to let it pass as she and Silver Spoon ‘huff’ed at Windblow and went back to their seats
“Okay Windblow you can go sit in an empty desk” said Cheerilee as Windblow did so and sat in the only empty space, which conveniently was in a cross like place to Sweetie Bell, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo.
Windblow sighed as he reached his seat and turned to the fillies
“Before you ask, yes I don’t have a cutie mark, yes I know about the Cutie Mark Crusaders and yeah you’ve got me in”
“How did you-” Applebloom started but was interrupted by Windblow
“I’ve heard about you and three pairs of eyes staring at you ain’t easy to not notice y’know?” the fillies blushed slightly at Windblow’s remark, had they been THAT obvious?
“Well students, as you know we’re going to have a talent contest in three days” said Cheerilee receiving a collective ‘YAY’ from her energetic students “I’ll allow teams of three people so you can start preparing since tomorrow” Windblow quickly raised his hand “Yes, Windblow?”
“Miss Cheerilee, can we do it alone?” This question took Cheerilee by surprise, usually everypony wanted to do this things with their friends, but since Windblow was new she thought it might be interesting to let Vinyl’s child work by himself
“Why of course Windblow” Windblow nodded at his teacher’s response and focused in the rest of the day
The next days passed by pretty normal, Windblow found himself spending pretty much all of his time with the CMC, if you took apart their almost never ending excitement, they were pretty cool to be with, Windblow would sometimes help them with their theories of cutie mark getting some others camping with them and helping with non-girl related stuff, and some tiny others just making stuff, it was nice to behave like a kid, with friends like them and two mothers like Vinyl and Octavia, Windblow decided that his life was good
The days passed by quickly and the talent show occurred, all the parents in Ponyville went to the center of the village to watch the spectacle, the CMC repeated their musical show, succeeding this time, it ended terrific as Sweetie Bell finally obtained her cutie mark, a microphone with a shiny diamond beside it, it wasn’t a surprise to anypony since she had a wonderful singing voice and the outfits of the three were designed by her alone, after a frenetic hug with Rarity and her parents, Sweetie Bell returned to her friends, after all, the CMC would stay until everyone of them obtained their cutie marks; Diamond Tiara presented a theater scene with Silver Spoon, although the filly was annoying as hell, Windblow had to admit that she was a good actress, Silver Spoon was the one that organized the entire scene, she and Diamond Tiara made all the characters, earning a loud applause from the audience, finally it was Windblow’s turn to show up
The announcing pony took the microphone and presented Windblow to the public
“And last but not least, the new student, Windblow Scratch!” suddenly a white unicorn walked to the announcer and whispered to his ear
“Oh”
“Aha”
“Okay”
“Well mares and gentle colts it seems that our young Windblow will not do his act alone, everypony say hello too to Double Scratch and Crashing Melody” a brown unicorn and a gray earth pony came to the scenario, the earth pony pulling a set of drums and the unicorn levitating a red bass
“How’s that! No one said that you can ask your family!” protested Diamond Tiara from behind
“Well miss Diamond, no one forbid it neither, actually this is the first time that someone actually USED the rule, so it isn’t technically against the rules, now come on, Windblow Scratch!”
Windblow walked to the center of the stage with a white guitar on his hand
“Oh! A musical performance! Let’s see how the son of two of the best musicians does!”
Windblow said nothing as he plugged his guitar to a small amplifier
“What will you do mister Scratch?” asked the announcer
“‘Soothsayer’” said Windblow quickly
“Not very talkative are we?” Windblow simply nodded to the announcer earning a laugh from the public
After the instruments were set Windblow gave the signal to Double and Crashing and then they started to play
The public was completely shocked by Windblow’s performance, the notes of the guitar complemented perfectly to the bass and drums, even though the song didn’t had lyrics at all it felt powerful, it was as if the melody told a story itself; behind the scenario Cheerilee was smiling as the rest of her class stood dumbfound at Windblow’s performance, Diamond Tiara stood shocked while Silver Spoon was fainted in the ground; if Windblow would get a cutie mark it had to be music
After 8 or so minutes the guitar muted as the audience went crazy, cheers, compliments, it all caused a small blush in Windblow’s smiling face
“Amazing! Terrific! But what else can we expect from the son of our two best musicians?” as the announcer pony continued with his description, the ponies continued cheering, however the little moment was interrupted as a gray pegasus with a mail backpack flew and crashed in the scenario followed by a huge growl coming from beneath the woods
“HELP HELP ME PLEASE!!” shouted Derpy Hooves as Cheerilee walked to her
“Calm down Derpy, what’s going on?” asked the teacher to the shivering mare
“I-I was delivering a l-letter to Fluttershy in her house but I crashed with a tree and fell to the ground, I t-tried to go back but I got trapped by a hu-huge”
“TIMBERWOLF!!!!” shouted a pony from the audience as a humongous timberwolf jumped and growled at everypony
“WINDBLOW!!!” shouted Vinyl and Octavia as they went to the scrubs only to find Windblow standing up and giving the timberwolf the angriest glare they’ve ever seen
“You foul beast” Windblow said as he started walking towards the creature, behind him a red shadow of a huge dragon started to glow causing everypony to gasp in surprise
“It had been a lot since I had a good time, I was playing for my mothers, for my friends, and for everypony in Ponyville; SO WHO THE HAY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO BLOW IT UP!?” after the shout the Timberwolf roared at him as he launched himself to Windblow
Windblow backed his fist as the dragon shadow glowed brighter than ever, a trail of flames started to grow in Windblow’s arm as he charged his punch
“BLAZING STRIKE!!!” Windblow launched his flaming fist at the timberwolf in mid-air impacting full in his stomach, the creature let out a roar of pain as a giant trail of golden flames emerged from his back, right in the opposite place to Windblow’s punch
The ponies stood silent as Windblow landed and the huge timberwolf crashed in the dirt and quickly ran away with a faint trail of light gray smoke on him
“Windblow!!” yelled Vinyl as she ran to embrace her son in a hug
“How did you do it!? What was that?” yelled the CMC simultaneously
“What are you talking about? I just remember being very angry at the timberwolf and then… nothing, did I do something to him?” asked Windblow surprising the mares around him
“Indeed you did young Windblow” said a voice as a tall white alicorn approached Windblow
“Princess Celestia!” yelled everypony as they bowed to her, Windblow in his confusion just stood up
“Who are you?” he asked earning a sight of confusion from everypony beside his mothers
“I believe we haven’t being introduced yet, I’m princess Celestia, goddess of the sun and co-ruler of Equestria” Windblow immediately bowed to the princess but was stopped
“No need to bow young Windblow, what you did, although somewhat bizarre was one of the most bravest things I’ve ever saw, I’ve already talked to your mothers and I proudly declare you the newest citizen of Ponyville, however I’d like to talk to you about this ‘peculiar’ situation you’ve just had, I’ll wait for you in my castle in Canterlot in a week or so, if you have any doubts you can ask my student for it”
“I’ll be my pleasure princess” Windblow said as he bowed and everypony else chuckled for him acting so formal, he was the most care free individual in the world!
“Well dear audience” said the announcer pony appearing from beneath the scrums “It seems that since Windblow saved everypony today and did a wonderful performance with ‘Soothsayer’ It is my pleasure to declare the young Windblow Scratch the winner of this talent contest!”
As everypony cheered Windblow he mentally sighed as a lavender alicorn walked to him with an enormous smile on her face, he could swear he saw some sparkles in her eyes

The unlikely adventures of Windblow Scratch
Windblow silently wondered how Twilight was able to ask so many questions at the same time and not realizing he wasn’t actually giving her an answer.
Since they had entered Twilight’s library/house (Windblow was marveled by how the hay did Twilight managed to hold a baby dragon and not burning down the whole thing) the mare started to ask him questions, in the beginning he did answered them but she then apparently got too excited and asked them so quickly that now Windblow just gave up and waited for her to run out of saliva.
“Twilight” asked Windblow but Twilight continued with her rambling.
“Twilight!”
“TWILIGHT!”
“And what it- Yes?” asked Twilight not noticing a pulsing vein in Windblow’s forehead.
“I asked you to ask questions in an AVERAGE speed!” yelled Wind causing Twilight to blush in embarrassment.
“Oh sorry, I guess I went a bit overload” replied the mare “So, can you tell me exactly what happened during your performance?”
“I already told you guys! I don’t know! One moment I was playing music, then that huge wooden thing destroys the freaking scenario and then nothing, I just remember being really angry at that thing” said Windblow as he still tried to remember the events of yesterday.
Suddenly a knock was heard as Princess Celestia entered in the library.
“Good evening, Windblow, Twilight” said the ruler of the sun as Twilight immediately panicked and bowed.
“Good evening princess, err... I mean Celestia” said Twilight while blushing at her mistake as Celestia just laughed.
“What’s up miss ruler?” asked Windblow earning an angry glare from Twilight for his manners.
“Windblow, I’d like to see your magic abilities alongside Twilight, it still amuses me the sudden outburst you had with the giant Timberwolf incident; that magic wasn’t like anything we have seen in Equestria and I’d like to see where did it come from” explained Celestia as Windblow only nodded and smiled not understanding practically anything of what she said.
“So what am I supposed to do? I already told Twilight that I have no idea what magic she was talking about” said Wind as Celestia’s horn started to flow in magic.
“I will try and access your subconscious to unlock your magic, this process was actually created for unicorns with magic problems but since in a unicorn the magic flows naturally, we ponies almost never used it, but in your case I’m sure it will do” said the princess as she touched Windblow’s forehead with her shinning horn and Wind’s eyes started to lose their glow, he seemed to be in a deep trance.
‘This is strange, I should be able to find his magic system already’ thought Celestia as her astral figure advanced further and further into Windblow’s subconscious ‘What’s that? Is that a… lock?’ she thought as she sent a magical beam to the lock trying to break it, suddenly she found an explosion of energy liberating itself as the lock was broken, in less than one minute she suddenly found herself forcefully out of Windblow’s mind, Celestia stood dumbfound at what just had happened, this wasn’t supposed to occur “Windblow, are you okay?” she asked but received no answer from Windblow.
“Wind-” Twilight started but was interrupted by a sudden beam of light that came directly from Windblow’s forehead, the same site where Celestia entered his mind, the beam went straight forward to the sky making a hole through all the clouds, when it was about to disappear from the sight… it impacted into something, a stele of a rainbow field-force could be seen in the sky as the beam of light started to break it little by little, when it finally broke it revealed something that would make everypony in Equestria shocked, a planet.
A huge planet about the same size of the planet where Equestria was located suddenly could be seen hovering several miles, for what it could be seen it was located even farther than the moon yet it had to be as the same size of Terra to be seen faintly in the sky, barely covered by the Equestrian clouds.
Celestia stood shocked at this, in no less than 5 seconds Vinyl and Octavia burst through the door only to find Windblow with the light fading away from his forehead just before he fell to the floor.
“What the hay happened here!?” shouted Vinyl as she immediately ran to check on her son alongside Octavia.
“I’m not exactly sure” replied the princess “But I’m pretty sure we’ll know in a little while” she replied as Windblow’s hair started to turn yellow and the golden tattoos in his arms disappeared, suddenly he stood up with his hair now in a bright golden color.
“I believe I can explain that” replied Windblow as he opened his eyes, however, his voice sounded completely different, this one was calm and a little grave, instead of his usual quick and rambling like way of speak, the most major change apart from this were his eyes, which now were a deep blue instead of their ‘usual’ left red eye and green right eye, all the mares stood shocked at Windblow as he brushed the dirt out of his clothes, HAY! He looked different; he even looked as if he was older! His golden eyes showed an air of maturity that wasn’t anywhere that high a couple of minutes ago.
“Who are you and what did you do to my son!?” yelled Octavia surprising everypony in the scene, however, it was Vinyl the one that stopped her from doing anything harsh.
“Who are you and where is our son?” asked Vinyl in a more calmed tone of voice as ‘Windblow’ sighed “Let’s go to a more comfortable place” he said as all the mares nodded and walked back to the library.
-A complex explanation later-
“So let me get this straight” says Octavia as she manages to calm down, with a little help of Vinyl “You are one of Windblow’s personalities”
“Exactly”
“And his personalities have the ability to change his physical appearance when they manifest themselves?” asked Twilight taking notes of what ‘Windblow’ was telling them.
“Yep”
“But the question remains, who are you and could you give us a brief explanation of the current situation?” asks Celestia as ‘Windblow’ nods and stands up.
“First off, ‘Windblow’s name isn’t actually Windblow, when he was a resident of Alternia aka the planet above your heads, he was called Joshua, and due to the mysterious trip he had to here he can’t remember anything of his first 12 years, as for me, my name is Gio, I am one of Joshua’s personalities; what happened was that when you unlocked Windblow’s power, you also unlocked the memories of his life as Joshua that for some reason were forcefully locked away were also unlocked, for that reason I could ‘get out’ as well as his other personalities will do once he starts to assimilate his past memories, for now Windblow still doesn’t know what I’ve told you, what he will know once he wakes up is that he isn’t from here, and will be aware of my existence” Gio then looks and walks up to Vinyl and Octavia.
“Miss Scratch, miss Melody, I have something to say to you” he said before bowing in front of both mares earning a surprised face from them “I thank you deeply for all the care you’ve given to Windblow, you really acted like a pair of mothers for him and in all the time I watched through his mind I couldn’t find a single little bad detail about you, thank you for taking care of my ‘little brother’” Gio then stood up and looked at Celestia, this amused the mares but they smiled at the formality of the boy.
“So what happens now?” asked a calmed down Octavia.
“Well since Alternia has literally been discovered a couple of minutes ago I believe the residents of both Equestria and Alternia will go nuts, also, I don’t think there will happen anything bad, yet. But I ask permission to train my otouto*, well actually re-train him, because of the memory loss he has forgotten how to fight at all” said Gio, Celestia and Luna’s eyes narrowed at the thought of an extremely powerful fighter with such a young age wandering through Equestria, Gio seemed to notice this as he quickly continued “But don’t worry, he has enough common sense to know when and where to use his powers”
“What do you mean about powers?” asked Twilight Sparkle.
“Back in Alternia Joshua received martial arts training from an old hermit since he was 4 years old, master Gobaransu, Gobaransu trained him under the arts of Ansatsuken**, no offense princess but if Wind had his memory back, that timber wolf wouldn't have lasted 5 seconds, he wasn't called 'sama' sometimes for no reason" said Gio shocking every mare and Spike.
"The dragon attack you saw was because Wind's lock broke temporarily unlocking his 'Monkey Trick' ability, that abilities makes him able to use an attack of one of the most powerful razes near the area randomly, while alicorns are quite powerful, the wrath of a dragon is something that we all fear, that's the why that attack was selected" he explained
"Can't you stay a little longer?" pleaded Twilight not wanting for this new and more mature young one to left already.
"Who said I would go away?" he said as Wind's body began to glow a golden aura, the aura floated outside of his body to the space next to him as a light gray furred earth pony with a bright golden mane and silver stripes flowing through it like a river, from his looks he couldn't had more than 20 years***, his mane was just the perfect length, not too long yet not too short, stylized in a semi wild way as his tail, both of them which would definitely just get better once their length incremented, a magnificent pair of sapphire eyes stared at the mares accompanied with a gentle smile, lastly a cutie mark with the form of the outline of a crown with a pen-feather and a pair of swords swiftly crossing it in an 'X' like form "What? Do I have something on my face?" asked the earth pony in a voice that the mares immediately recognized.
"Gio?" asked Celestia as the earth pony nodded gracefully.
"Indeed I am, I figured it would have been more comfortable of I took the form of one of your species" replied as the mares continued to stare at his new appearance.
"It is quite amusing..." replied Rarity almost drooling at the stunning appearance of Gio, Celestia however, was actually drooling, what? If you lived over 1000 years and found a stallion like him you'd be drooling too! Goddess of the sun or not.
"Hey Gio" said Vinyl "You think you can do that trick in somepony else?"
"I get it, wait a bit please" he said as a another aura surrounded Windblow’s body, after it faded away in Windblow’s place was now a light brown furred Pegasus, he appeared to be like 12-13 years old, the same as Wind, he had a long white spiked mane with black stripes on it giving it a zebra like appearance, a tail that followed the same style as his mane and hair grew from his still flank.
"Uh?" said the pegasus as he woke up, his voice sounding EXACTLY like Windblow’s, a ruby eye and an emerald one demonstrated what everypony already assumed, this Pegasus was Windblow.
"What happened? Oh hi Gio what's up? Since when you are a pony?" asked Windblow still feeling a little dizzy.
Gio snickered at his younger brother's antics "Since about five or ten minutes Wind, its a surprise you remember everything"
"Yah somehow right now I remember... Da hay? Since when everypony got taller?" he said as he tried to touch Vinyl with his... "... Gio... What in Equestria happened to my hand?" he asked quite in shock as he stated at his recently acquired hoof.
"Um Windblow, i think you'd like to look at yourself in a mirror" said Spike as he put a body size mirror in front of him.
"What do you mea- ..." said Windblow as he now examined his pegasus-self "Holy Scratch! What happened to me!?" he asked in awe as he tried out his new body.
"I thought you'd like to feel being a pony as your mothers, talking about that, miss Octavia, you said that you experimented something unusual while playing your instruments during the orchestra?" asked Gio as Octavia nodded.
"Yes indeed, none of the instruments managed to emit a sound" explained the still confused mare.
"About that... I was so excited about meeting my other new mother that i think I accidentally casted something on them" said an embarrassed Windblow.
'Void techniques? He shouldn't be able to remember that yet, it seems that his memories are returning in a random order' "I think i have the solution, would you please take out your instrument miss Octavia?" she nodded as she handed her chelo to Gio, he grabbed the enchanted chelo... And slammed it against the floor... And against the walls... And threw it downstairs... And out of the window... As a buffalo stampede passed by...
...
-Several minutes later after Octavia chased Gio frenetically with a frying pan as Celestia flew to them to make sure the mare didn't murder the stallion-
"There all done" said Gio as he played a bit Octavia's chelo before handing it to her.
"What an... Interesting way to break a spell..." said Twilight as she and Celestia tried yet to figure how several hits and damage to something could break a powerful spell and return said object to a perfect state.
"So what will happen now?" asked Luna finally taking part of the subject.
"Well I suggest let Wind rest a but and adapt himself to his pegasus body, as for the other matter I believe I should have a little talk alongside you princess Celestia to your council, I think they'll be extremely confused of the sudden apparition of Alternia, also princess Luna, I'd like to have a talk with you" replied Gio while looking at the princess of the night.
"And why is that if I may ask?" asked Luna kinda confused as to why the Alternian pony would like to speak to her privately.
"It's because it has a direct relation with 'The Moon'" replied Gio as Luna's eyes widened and she smiled at Gio but with an air of seriousness around her.
Before anypony could say anything three known high pitched voices were heard outside the door as our favorite triplets by anything but blood were outside the door with a BIG grin in their young faces.
"Horseapp-"
"CUTIEMARK CRUSADERS STRANGERS INVESTIGATORS YAY!" yelled the three over enthusiasm fillies as everypony in Ponyville started to gather around wondering what made the infamous CMC even more excited than usual.
Wandering around, the now reformed spirit of chaos and disharmony known as Discord sneezed "I felt as if the balance of the universe was twisted again" said the dracoonequs as he rubbed his beard with his griffon hand "What a wonderful day then!" exclaimed the spirit as he continued to wander around creating more of his new and reformed 'Good Chaos'
*It’s a Japanese term for little brother
Author's Note
First off I'd like to apologize with you guys, I seriously wanted to upload this story a whole sooner but after I analyzed it's plot I found it... plain, it needed something else so I had to re-make the plot from scratch, which took me most of this time because I wanted to give you people a good story like you deserve, my other stories will remain in hiatus as I want to repay the huge wait I had to put you in, again I'm sorry and I hope you can still enjoy this story.
The unlikely adventures of Windblow Scratch
Windblow was currently running through the streets of Ponyville being chased by Pinkie Pie and the infamous CMC: Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle and Applebloom, the reason? After the big party that Pinkie Pie threw at both Gio and Windblow to welcome them to Ponyville, Gio had the ‘brilliant idea’ to tell the CMC that if they managed to capture Windblow they could recruit him, needless to say the CMC were overjoyed for the idea of having a new member and the fact that they already knew Windblow from school didn’t help at all, still the reason of why our favorite party mare did not met Windblow and Gio before this… remains a mystery, but one way or another Windblow would take revenge on his older brother figure, maybe flooding his room with gummy bears… yeah that would be the perfect plan.
‘If I manage to get out of this in one piece that is’ thought Windblow as he continued to run the hay off as fast as his legs allowed him, since he has been living as a pegasus for approximately 4 or so hours he wasn’t used to fly, so he was stuck to what he knew, in other words, run as fast as buck.
“CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS NEW MEMBER RECRUITERS YAY!!!!” yelled the three fillies as they continued to pursue Windblow who screamed hysterically while cursing at his surrogate older brother.
‘Where is he by the way?’ thought Wind as he avoided a magical rope and a dozen of apples while trying to not get caught by Scootaloo’s scooter, the girls were capable Wind could only ponder as to why they hadn’t their cutie mark yet ‘Whatever at least it’ll be a more cool cutie mark than toothpaste hair's and metal glasses’
-Meanwhile in Twilight’s library-
“Princes- I mean Luna are you sure it is fine for us to be here?” asked Twilight as she and her 5 friends shifted their vision between Luna, Celestia and Gio.
“I am positive Twilight Sparkle, since you six are the wielders of the Elements of Harmony and so the guardians of Equestria I believe that you should be informed to a major issue such as this” replied Luna as she looked back at Gio “Gio, would you elaborate what you meant back there?”
“With pleasure your highness” replied Gio with a little bow “Back in Alternia as I already told you, Joshua had some people that opposed completely with his ideals and his family’s, the most powerful of them was a man called Kagero, Kagero was an individual with a very peculiar ability, he was capable of producing energy like Joshua but he canalized said ability in creation and manipulation of shadows, Kagero was a prodigy in said ability and it took an immense effort of Joshua and his family alongside his friends of Alternia to be able to defeat him, in the time that Joshua became Windblow here, Kagero took advantage that his biggest treat was gone and attacked once again with his forces, we do not knew his plans until recently and what we discovered has to do with your celestial” he said while pointing at the sky.
“Long ago Alternia and Gea, the name our ancestors gave to this planet, used to be ‘twin’ sisters, they passed each of their energies to each other and that medium was the moon that you see nowadays, it is unnecessary to show that Gea is a planet that bursts out of magic, all of that energy was canalized and passed by the moon, if someone was able to control the energy of both Alternia and Gea that passed through the moon he or she would become virtually invincible, the most powerful creature in this plain of existence powerful enough to break any law existent; this fact became a serious topic to both the people of Gea and Alternia, so they decided to canalize their magic or energy as we call it in Alternia and put an illusionary spell on the moon, said spell would act as a barrier that would hide the prescience of the other planet and limit the passage of energy that located in the moon, making it like a ‘battery’, guarding energy and liberating it slowly and swiftly” he said as he turned to Luna.
“Princess if I may ask, during your time at the moon didn’t you feel as if your magic capacity suddenly began to grow in a very fast way?” asked Gio earning a nod from the princess of the night.
“Indeed, now that you mention it I don’t recall ever feeling my magic grow as fast as those thousand years I spent at the moon; it was as if something else was helping me, though I always thought that it was the nightmare instead of the moon itself” replied the princess as Gio shook his head.
“Pardon my abruptness princess but that idea sounds plainly illogical, if my knowledge is accurate the ‘nightmare’ wanted you to be mentally weak enough in order to assume control of your emotions, if so, why would it want to make you feel confident? It would first want to destroy you and make you feel as if you were nothing without it, like a parasite” said Gio earning an understanding nod from Luna.
“Kagero intends to control the power of the moon, maximize the power suction from both Alternia and Terra in order to overload it, this of course would cause great catastrophes to both planets, as the constant flow of energy is what allows the planets to exist correctly, his intentions are yet unknown to us but as his actions affect both of our planets” he says as he bows at the three princesses and 4 of the 6 elemental holders “In the name of the Resistance of Alternia, I, Gio Kuromiya, would like to request your assistance in this battle” says the stallion as he feels two hooves in his fore-legs and see two smiling princesses.
“It will be an honor for Equestria to help you out in this mission, Alternian, you can rest assured as you will have all of our support” said Celestia as Gio stood up and gave a smile to all the mares in the room.
“You will have my eternal gratitude” said Gio when suddenly the sound of a crash was heard coming from near the library “And you will have either more if you help me out to make sure my surrogate little brother hasn’t killed himself yet” he replied as all the ponies plus dragon ran out of the library…
-Few moments earlier-
“Umm girls?” asked Windblow from the bottom of a… canon?
“What is it Wind?” asked Sweetie Belle as Pinkie Pie was finishing instructing her and Applebloom how to fire her party canon.
“Are you sure this will help us get our cutie-marks?” asked Windblow again as he gulped nervously, he initially didn’t want to participate at all, but hay, he may be still a young colt but he was a stallion, and no stallion could ever resist the sickly adorable puppy eyes look of the CMC asking him to help them, that and the fact that Pinkie Pie promised him to teach him to bake, and if there was something that Wind learned in his days on Ponyville, was that Pinkie Pie baked like a goddess and he would be learning from her apart from the fact that Pinkie also tied him up so that he couldn’t escape at all.
“Relax Windy! This is our 100’987,265th attempt of cutie-mark getting, I’m sure we’ll get it this time, and if you and me don’t get our ‘bullet-pony’ cutie-mark from this then I’ll say that Diamond Tiara is the humblest pony ever!” said Scootaloo from another canon, she and the girls (plus Pinkie) had somehow convinced Windblow into helping them (minus Pinkie) into their attempt of getting their cutie-mark.
“Wait a sec’ Scootaloo ain’t this our attempt number 100’988,156?” asked Applebloom as she put on two helmets on Windblow and Scootaloo’s heads.
“You’re both wrong I recall this is our attempt number 100’988,714, the 100’987,265 was for the ‘pudding makers’ cutie-mark and the 100’988,156 was for the ‘rocket-builders’ cutie-mark” explained Sweetie Belle.
“Oh! Oh! You remember when you girls helped me build a house out of cake mix?” asked Pinkie Pie as she bounced around excited about firing two ponies from her party canons, she had helped the CMC from time to time in their attempts as it was always funny to see and most of the time become part of their shenanigans.
“Oh yeah attempt number 99’846,483 that was a delicious plan!” exclaimed Scootaloo as she licked her lips of the memory, that house have been one of the most delicious things they had ever eaten “Okay Wind are you ready?” asked Scootaloo from the bottom of the canon.
“Um I’m not quite sure Scoota-”
“Okay! PUSH THAT THING APPLEBLOOM!” she yelled interrupting Windblow as Applebloom pushed both of the buttons of the canons firing Scootaloo and Windblow through the air.
“ISN’T THIS AWESOME WIND!?” asked Scootaloo as she flew through the air, her wings enjoying the sense of the wind passing through her wings at a very fast pace, while it was true that she couldn’t fly yet it wasn’t an issue to her anymore, after the Equestria Games and the talk with Rainbow Dash she understood that her wings would grow with time, several months had passed since that day so it was only a matter of time until she was able to fly, her wings had grown so she would only need, much to her pouts, patience and practice, she highly suggested that some radioactive uranium WOULD have helped them but Twilight got it back before she could use them, Scootaloo read too much comics for her own good, and apparently ‘The incredible KOLT’ or Kolt (I know I suck for some names) as some ponies called him, was one of her favorites I mean how in Equestria couldn’t you love seeing a colossal green super-pony smashing up stuff and evading the rulers called ‘government’? It was just too awesome to not like
“WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!”
Oh right, yelled Windblow as he passed flying beside Scootaloo, however their trajectories were TOO close, causing our brown/greenish furred pegasi to crash against our orange furred mare and spin wildly before crashing against the floor near the library in a… *cough* very peculiar pose.
-Present time-
“Wind/Windblow” said Vinyl and Octavia as they both slowly walked up towards Windblow and Scootaloo as the two pegasi stared at them nervously while the rest of the ponies struggled not to laugh at their position.
“Would you care to explain were you in a crater” started Octavia “under Scootaloo, with your lips against each other, in public?” finished Vinyl as the two mares smiled calmly at them, though if you were Windblow you would have known that that kind of smile promised tortures and pain beyond Tartarus if they weren’t convinced with his answer, though it didn’t that Scootaloo apparently lost some control of her tail, which was getting in the way of Wind’s mouth.
“Hmmpff Hmmpffmmf Hmmffp Hmmpf Hm Hmmfpf Hmhmp Hmmpfmmpffmpfmhmpf hmpfhmppfhmp hmpfhmp hmp hhmmphmfhmfpf” explained Windblow as everypony stared blankly at him as Scootaloo removed her tail from his mouth.
“Oh so that was it” replied Twilight as everypony turned to her.
“How could you understood him?” asked Rainbow Dash as she chuckled slightly at the situation her adopted younger sister, in the last couple of months Scootaloo was finally adopted by Rainbow Dash as her younger sister, needless to say that Scootaloo fainted when she heard it that time, but as Michael Ende said:
That’s another story and shall be told at another time.
“What? I have a degree in pillow speech thank you very much, and Shining Armor thought that it was a useless study” she said with sarcasm happy for being able to prove wrong his brother, despite the fact that he wasn’t even there at all, but oh well.
“So what actually happened?” asked Octavia as Windblow removed the remains of Scootaloo’s hair from his mouth awkwardly.
“Apparently they were at another attempt of getting their cutie-mark at, what was it again?” asked Twilight while turning to the remaining CMC.
“You see Miss Twilight this was attempt number 100’988,714 ‘n apparently didn’t work out as we expected, Scootaloo and Windy were fired from the canon but somehow crashed ‘gainst each other and ending in the position y’all are seein’” replied Applebloom.
“It was an accident we all saw them flying and colliding here and besides we know Scootaloo wouldn’t do something like that at will” replied Sweetie Belle unaware that said filly felt a LITTLE strange after accidentally kissing Windblow.
“What did you think we were doing moms? I mean I’m only 13 what exactly could I have been doing” asked Windblow innocently as Vinyl gave a nervous laugh and Octavia sweat nervously.
“Probably something not appropriated from the kind of rating of this fic” replied Pinkie Pie as everypony stared blankly at her.
“Pinkie Pie… you’re so ran-” started RD before being interrupted by Windblow.
“I guess you’re right Pinkie” replied Wind as he found being the center of all the looks this time.
“Son, you understood what Pinkie Pie said?” asked Octavia as Windblow nodded.
“Of course, I mean if there was a situation like that the moderators would notice and could give us an alert or worse” he said as he gulped “Ban us, and we don’t want that, right?” said Windblow as everypony now stared at him.
“… if my kit could understand her, I guess Pinkster isn’t as nuts as we think” said Vinyl as she bumped her son’s head earning a ‘HEY!’ from him “That’s for getting yourself fired and not telling me”
“Though I really would have wanted to be able to fly or at least hover, I think I heard a couple of cracks back there” said Windblow with a chuckle.
“Patience Wind, trust me on this one” replied Scootaloo as everypony laughed at the irony, one of the most inpatient of the ponies telling somepony to be patient was quite the show.
“What’d you guys talked about anyway?” asked Windblow as he incorporated himself.
“Stuff, you know, like how the moon is in trouble alongside Equestria and Alternia, you know the usual” said Gio.
“One of this days you’ll have to tell me just how the hay was my life before having amnesia” said Windblow with a shrug.
“Umm excuse me” said Fluttershy “didn’t Cheerilee left some kind of homework for you four? I happened to meet her mumbling about ‘troublesome assignments’ but I didn’t want to interrupt her, she seemed rather busy” continued Fluttershy as Windblow’s eyes widened.
“HOLY BUCK! SO THAT’S WHAT I WAS FORGETTING!” yelled Windblow aloud as Octavia put on a tape on his mouth.
“What have I told you about swearing my son?” asked Octy in a serious tone.
“Hmmp HmpffHmffpf hmps” said Windblow as Twilight translated “He says he’s sorry for swearing”
“Mom can I use your studio today? I really really REALLY need to make a song” pleaded Windblow as Vinyl could only nod before Windblow bolted away running to his house.
“That kid has some darn legs, bet he could help us a lot in the farm, Vinyl, if that Sugarcube ever needs a pair of bits send him to our farm” said Applejack as Vinyl chuckled.
“Sure thing AJ, what was the subject anyway?” she asked while turning to the CMC.
“Miss Cheerilee asked us to make something that could represent how our lives with our families in any particular way we wish” replied Sweetie Belle.
“So free-style huh? That sure sounds like my kit” replied Vinyl as all the mares nodded.
“I am anxious to see what young Windblow is capable from” said Celestia as she and Luna turned to Gio “Gio, we shall meet again” she said before turning to Vinyl and Octavia “Vinyl Scratch, Octavia Melody, you two and your family are all welcome to our castle in Canterlot whenever you wish to”
“It sometimes gets boring of all the diplomacy so feel free to just pass by to say hi” replied Luna as Celestia chuckled even now she still didn’t like politics very much.
“As well as here, the library shall be open anytime for all of you” replied Twilight as Spike nodded.
“Yeah please come often I need help convincing Twilight to do something other than reading or studying, hay I once heard her muttering about marrying a book while she was sleeping” said the young dragon as Twilight blushed in embarrassment.
“Well since apparently my studio is occupied today, who wants to go for some apples? My threat” said Vinyl as all the mares present, including the princesses, nodded, hey they may be royalty but who doesn’t accept a free meal?
“Music for mah ears Sugarcube, music for mah ears” said Applejack happily as everypony walked their way to Sweet Apple Acres.
-An apple lunch later-
“I’m stuffed~” said Vinyl happily as she and Octavia walked their way to their home, it wasn’t a terrific idea leaving Windblow with all the equip but after all Gio was there to watch him, and apparently Gio’s payment was an apple pie, yeah Gio was a good reasonable caretaker.
As they entered their home it was surprisingly silent ‘Strange, isn’t Windblow supposed to be working on his assignment?’ thought Octavia as she and Vinyl walked up to Vinyl’s studio only to end up smiling at the sight.
Lying lazily in the main board was their sleeping son Windblow, the track record off and with a blanket over him, most likely put on by Gio, above him laid a CD and a sheet of paper; Windblow was sleeping soundlessly so it seemed that he tired himself up composing whatever he did.
“Like mother like son” said Octavia causing Vinyl to chuckle slightly, tons of times had Octavia need to put on a blanket on Vinyl and drag her to bed due to several nights she stayed sleepless until late, or the other way around, the two of them were extremely stubborn with work related issues and apparently their adopted son adopted that trait from them.
“So what do you say Octy, wanna hear what our little kit made?” asked Vinyl as she levitated Windblow to his room and put him in his bed, she noticed that the couch apparently was occupied by Gio’s sleeping and snoring form, before going back to the studio a little smile appeared on Windblow’s face as his mom gave him a quick peck on the forehead before leaving him to sleep.
“My life as an alien” said Octavia aloud as Vinyl gave a slight laugh.
“What an adequate tittle” said Vinyl as she grabbed two pair of headphones and passed one to Octavia, the music started after a couple of seconds as Vinyl and Octavia read the sheet of paper that Windblow wrote:
‘My life as an alien by Windblow ScratchI am an alien that’s what I say I landed somewhere one of these days Mother and mom found me in the ground And decided to adopt me, which is where I’m now I am an alien I’m not from here Which is probably easy to see But I don’t care if I’m different If with my mothers I get to live I do think I’m an alien And I do may be a freak But what the hay I love my moms! And I love living here! ’
As the song ended Vinyl and Octavia smiled warmly at Windblow’s letter, it wasn’t the lyrics of the song, it was a strange poem alongside the song but it served as a good metaphor of how Windblow came to their life, as an alien as he said, appearing out of nowhere and changing their lives, adding that little spark of uncertainty alongside with a bratty attitude and the look of a troublemaker that you couldn’t help but like, but he was their troublemaker, and they knew that they would only grow closer even more.
After exchanging a good night kiss both mares walked to their rooms, things would turn strange from now on with Gio’s appearance and Windblow’s change, but trade this adventure for a boring simple life? Not even a chance.
