We have a problem in the past two years you have faced many dangers but now comes’ the strongest. This enemy is stronger than Discord, King Sombra, and Queen Chrysalis combined. His name is Dent Death he is an alicorn himself.” “Golly princess sounds very dangerous but what does he want rule Equestria?” “That’s just it Applejack he could care less about being the ruler he wants anypony that had any involvement with his capture 1000 years ago and anypony who got rid of his friends such as Discord which includes you six in a how do I say it? A death battle between you six me and Princess Luna. Only one winner may be crowned. I Luna and other members from the royal party had a 12 hour talk the other day and we came up with a solution.” “Celestia you cannot at all say what I think you’re about to say that’s impossible none of us could do that.” “Twilight I’m very sorry this has to happen but after 12 hours and only two 10 minute breaks we have come to a terrible decision. Because none of are magic combined can destroy him and he will only go back when 1 pony is crowned the winner we are going into a death match this was the hardest thing to do and it has been set to begin in less than 24 hours The matches for the first round have already been decided.” All the ponies Luna and the main six started to cry all hugging each other tightly knowing that in a matter of hours most of them would be dead. It all happened in the blink of an eye one second they were heading to Canterlot happy as can be next figuring out they have to kill each other. FlutterShy took it the worst and she knew deep down she was dead already no matter who she would go against too shy not knowing how to fight little lone pick up a weapon. “Here are the first round line ups battle 1 will be between Applejack and Pinkie Pie. They looked at each other in tears and hugged so tight. “Battle 2 between Me and Oh no…. me and Cadence.” They all stood in place shocked with a lifeless expression on their face princess versus princess. It was hard to know this Celestia grew more tears in her eyes but continued to read off the matches. “Battle 3 is between Twilight and Rainbow Dash.” Twilight looked scared and sad but knowing she wanted to live. Rainbow Dash cried also but was determined to win this and end it all she could hope for was not ever to face Fluttershy or Applejack. “Finally battle 4 is between Rarity and Fluttershy.” Fluttershy burst out crying and heavy breathing. Rarity was no different but she was not exactly to worried about that she was facing Fluttershy but that she would probably kill her in the end she never had much control of her greediness. This was not a good thing. “Applejack and Pinkie Pie please report to the garden at the back castle at 10:00 AM tomorrow.” “This is not good no not one bit nope nope nope! Not one little bit I can’t kill anypony little lone my best best friends. Pinkie and Applejack were worried the most. The others also were scared shit less and worried. Killing each other, they would never even hurt one another. Just so you will know to end this whole thing quicker and less sad weapons will be placed around the battle field.” In some ways this calmed the ponies down by maybe 10% since the wouldn’t have to slowly beat them up hoof to hoof a weapon could end this all quicker. Some would say that is not as bad as hoof-to-hoof, which it is not but still heartbreaking for the pony killing that pony even with a weapon. “Hey Twilight I want you to know that I think you are an awesome friend and a good person and that I’m scared.” “Me too Rainbow Dash please lay with me knowing these maybe are final hours together.” Throughout the entire night, some ponies woke up crying and hugging each other others having nightmares of what would happen tomorrow on the field where for some it will become their final resting place. Death a word of a person that is not living anymore that is not possible to talk to or hear someone who’s body has completely shut down no movement no twitch not even a breath. Soon a lot of them would face death and their friends would have to deal with it the death of their best friends. They have to win some thought to themselves that they would not let some creature take them over. Princess Celestia and Cadance had similar thoughts. That they wouldn’t let Luna have to handle everything. Cadance also knew she couldn’t leave her husband. Shining Armor would be devastated. Knowing she would be gone would drive him insane and have some dark thoughts. In just a few hours the morning sun would rise and the day of death will begin. Most days are planned and go good in a somewhat predictable way. But tomorrow hold surprises and be unpredictable. Who will be dead by the end of the day? By Midnight Applejack relized. Fluttershy was too scared and worried to eat anything. 20 minutes later Cadence and Celestia walked into the cafeteria, sat down, and ate. Luna woke up, came in, and sat next to Celestia. She whispered to her that she believed in her. After almost half, an hour of eating Twilight finale broke the silence and started to speak. “Friends I just wanted to say as are finale hours together that I love you girls and that I wish you all the best of luck.” “I can’t believe this happened to us how can somepony be so strong.” “Rainbow Dash I know this is crazy but it’s the only way unless we want all of us dead. Oh no hey um Applejack Pinkie Pie its 9:30 you have to go to the Battle field and get pre pared the battle begins at 10. Applejack gulped and hugged Pinkie Pie and they headed down stairs. All the others wished them luck as they headed down now tears ran down all their eyes most of their eye sockets were dry from all the crying they have been doing the past two days. The ponies looked out the window to see other ponies from around Equestria coming to watch the brutal games. Everypony knew they were not forced to be their but some came for the show the entertainment to watch best friends kill each other. Those sick bastards Applejack thought to herself coming to watch for entertainment that is crazy somepony would do that. That’s less of the problem right now thought because in a matter of minutes she would be in a death battle with her best friend. They entered on the battlefield and were welcomed by two royal guards who had read them rules. “Rule 1 No biting rule 2 do not kill any spec tatters if you do you will be automatically disqualified which means death rule 3 if you do not kill each other in 30 minutes you both will be killed.” “Only 30 minutes I guess he has no care for feelings that mean mean pony.” “He is an enemy Pinkie Pie he doesn’t care about feelings he just wants most of us dead and his one winner it’s the only way to send him back to where he belongs. In hell he should burn in hell for what he is doing I can’t believe someone like that was blessed not only as an alicorn but so darn strong.” Both ponies looked at the weapons for a bit and started picking them up and practicing Applejack was good with a pegged mace Pinkie Pie seemed to do good with a spear. After almost 10 minutes of practice ponies started filling the stands then Pinkie Pie saw them and showed Applejack they both dropped their weapons and started to cry again they saw there other four friends loading into the front of the seating stands crying and waving. Both of them waved back knowing this may be the last time they may see them. The guards let them come down for only a minute and say what they want to but what Applejack heard shocked her. Rarity said to her “You have to win this match I know you can do it.” Applejack stood stunned that one of her friends was wishing her luck to kill one of their friends why she asked she had no response she walked back to the stands with the rest of them. Then they saw him fly in Dent Death he landed at the top in a huge box. He was huge his wings had a span of at least 10 feet his horn 5 feet he was 2x as large as Celestia. He had a dark grey coat and his mane was a very bloody red. He was a very scary sight to see. His eyes were a menacing shade of yellow they looked strait though you and made you blood run as cold as a frozen pond. The speakers came on and announced that the battle will begin in 5 minutes. That’s when something Applejack never thought she would hear came out of Pinkie Pie’s mouth by this point she thought she was dreaming. Nobody would believe what she had said. “Look Applejack I know we are super-duper best friends am not going to lose looks like I’ll do what I have to sorry it came to this but I really really don’t feel like dying today or the next day. Plus I can’t leave Mr. and Mrs. Cake.” “Pinkie you give in that quick just to win I can’t believe you would say something like to me your best friend. I know you don’t want to lose neither do I but you gave in so fast I can’t believe that.” The intercom came back on and said the following words “Welcome everypony to the first round of death battle are first round is between Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Count down from 30 seconds begins now at 0 you may grab weapons and begin.” At first Applejack was mad that the announcer said it so normally but then realized Dent Death was probably making her say it that way. 10 .9.8.7.6.5.4.3.2. 1 the match began the most tears ever ran down the other ponies faces Pinkie Pie was determined to win she grabbed 10 shurikens’ and a helmet. She raced towards Applejack had a shuriken in her hoof ready. Applejack took her time to put armor on first and put much more on then pinkie she put on a chest plate, a helmet, hoof protectors, and flank protectors. Lucky she did a shuriken kit one of her food protectors deflected off and just missed Pinkie Pie. Twilight started crying more realizing Pinkie was somewhat ok with killing Applejack just to win. Applejack grabbed a spear and ran she had no idea of what to do some times she was ready to kill pinkie but then she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Pinkie didn’t give up though she kept running with Applejack. Applejack was hoping to eventually tire out Pinkie. It took a while but after almost 7 minutes of running Pinkie Pie was starting to slow down. Therefore, she threw two shurikens at Applejack she dodged one but the other hit her neck it was not a serious injury but some blood started to slowly come out of her neck Applejack gave out a little scream in pain and saw where some of the supplies were was Band-Aids and pain killers. She raced for the medicine. Pinkie knew that she would be heading for it. But what she didn’t know is that Applejack knew pinkie would think she would run strait for the medicine so she ran past the supplies took a shuriken and threw it at Pinkie It hit her mask Pinkie realized she needed more armor that she was lucky it hit the helmet. While pinkie was distracted Applejack was able to get the medicine she needed and get ready for when Pinkie was done. Now she could have just run up to pinkie and finish this battle but pinkie would be alerted by the roaring cheers of the crowd. Therefore, she stood for a minute or two waiting for Pinkie Pie. “Applejack that really hurt me a whole bunch what you just did why do that to your best friend in the whole entire world.” “Pinkie I know what you’re trying to do make me feel bad and sorry for you and make me to chicken and upset to kill you your deserving to die knowing you would do that to me just 40 minutes ago we were very great friends and that quickly you turn on me fuck you AHH!!!!!!!!!!!” She ran up to her with spear in one hoof and ready to do this no holding back she thought to herself no holdin- she stopped and broke out crying. “Why does it have to come to this why must I kill you how come there is no other way?” Pinkie Pie was still not giving up another weapon was thrown not a shuriken but a knife. A survival knife flew past Applejack hitting and sticking to the wall. Applejack had her spear ready for what came next. Pinkie made another move moving right left right left trying to throw Applejacks vision off balance. It didn’t one bit Applejack moved to her far right then Pinkie Pie tried stabbing her with a knife but Applejack blocked it with her spear then pushed pinkie off of her. She fell to the ground and held her back in pain it was a rocky terrain to be fighting on. Applejack looked up at the clock and saw 10 minutes remained before they both would be killed. Applejack bucked Pinkie right as she was about to get up. Pinkie was slowly losing the will to battle AJ she was seriously injured a buck from Applejack is as powerful as Twilights tree house falling on you. Not that anypony knew what that fell like but hey, it’s a metaphor. Pinkie got up and buckshot from AJ pinkie hit the wall and fell to the ground now holding her neck in pain she had a broken collar bone. AJ started to cry again but quickly stopped because that’s what pinkie wants her to do. AJ did not at all see it coming another shuriken this time hit one of her unprotected areas on her leg. Blood started to leak out this gave pinkie time to recover from her wounds and get medicine. Silence fell in the crowd as Applejack screamed out in pain and crying she realized a few pain pills and other stuff to stop the pain and heal the wound. Once more crying came from the other four friends. “That’s it Applejack let me end it quick for you.” Pinkie was about to stab Applejack when AJ got a hold of it and continually stabbed pinkie while crying after almost 20 stabs AJ fell back and curled up crying and breathing heavily. A guard came on this field and checked Pinkie Pie’s pulse no response she was dead. The speaker came on and announced Applejack as the winner of Battle 1 and that we had a 30 minute rest and break before Twilight went up against Rainbow dash. They went to grab a snack when Rainbow dash came up behind her and said. “You did what you had to AJ it’s not your fault.” “ I know dash I am still upset about it she was my friend she was all of ours I wish you luck for what happens on the field with you and Twilight.” Only people who watched the fight talked during the intermission some asked AJ what it felt like she kept saying no comment but everyone kept asking and asking her finally, she spoke up. “YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT WAS LIKE IT WAS A TERIABLE EXPERIENCE IMAGINE ONE NIGHT YOUR HAVING FUN AND LAUGHS THEN THE NEXT DAY YOU HAVE TO KILL HER AND HOW DARE YOU COME FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT YOU SHOULD BE FORCED TO KILL YOU FRIENDS SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SICK FUCKS I SAID IT! SICK FUCKS!” Everyone stood in shock of was she said nopony asked any more question after that and some even left the field because they knew AJ was right that they were sick and wrong to ask question about her killing her friend. Applejack did not have a big apatite after the battle she only hap Apple slices and a small sandwich. Rainbow dash took her time to get prepared for her fight after all Twilight was a magical pony, which could be a very tough challenge for anypony. Applejack was then informed she would sit in one of the boxes near Dent Death. For a while, she was really worried. However, in a way she would have his respect for being a winner. In her head she wanted Twilight to win because she could never have the will and strength to fight Rainbow dash who was her best best friend out of all of them they were both sporty people and liked a lot of things. Then she realized if either one of them won she would lose Rainbow dash could fly and Twilight was a great magic pony. Her heart started pumping faster than ever. So many questions and no answers there had to be something up with the Dent Death character he came out of nowhere. How could somepony be so much stronger than Celestia stronger than all the enemies combined she had about 10 minutes before the match would begin so she went to find Celestia maybe she had answers. Meanwhile Twilight studied the meaning of fighting and how too. Even after the worst came to Equestria she was still an egghead at heart. “Celestia I had a question.” “What is it Rainbow?” “What made that Dent Death guy so strong and why is he back?” “You see Rainbow 1000 years ago when Luna and I were ruling together we had a Student named Den which is where Dent comes from. He was one of our greatest students we ever had. Better than Twilight even he was one spell away from becoming an alicorn and a prince but after almost two months and many attempts he couldn’t do it and learned some other magic spells never taught at the school he then asked us if he could now be a prince. We of course said no that he needed to learn what we did. He argued that he learned even more magic and that because we did not make him a ruler he would teach himself new spells and make new magic after 2 years he became an alicorn on his own and vowed to make not just us all of Equestria pay. “My goodness but why is he back?” “Well Rainbow how do I say this w-“ The speakers came on and said for Rainbow dash and Twilight sparkle to report to the battlefield and everyone else would be able to come back to their seats in five minutes. Rainbow dash flew up and dashed for Twilight. Twilight thought she could doge it by moving left but Rainbow dash took a sharp turn and hit Twilight right in the chest. The crowd cheered and whistled for their favorite pony. But Applejack and the others sat there with sadness covering their faces as once more another 2 friends were forced to face each other. Twilight got back up but once more was hit with Rainbow’s tale, which left a big gash on the side of her face. She moaned in pane but used a spell to heal it. Rainbow dash came for another sweep at Twilight but actually missed. It sent her slamming into the wall she had a headache for a little bit then Twilight used an orb spell that could make her lose a limb from pain Rainbow move out of the way in the nick of time it exploded and sent Rainbow flying. She then spread out her wings and started to fly herself waiting for Twilights next move. After almost a complete minute of waiting Rainbow took the shot and hit Twilight head on but not with her body with a tiny knife that she had grabbed when getting the armor. Twilight started to bleed from her left leg. You ba bas ba bastard! How could you! Twilight sent yet again another bolt heading Rainbow’s way. She got hit and fell to the ground. Both lay injured on the ground moaning in pain. Rainbow was first to get back up she then scurried over to where all the medicine was being held at and applied as much as possible to stop the pain. Twilight tried as fast as she could to try and pull the knife out of her leg. Even magic barley helped it was deep down in her leg but lucky she pulled it out both ponies stood on opposite ends of the arena breathing heavily and prepared for what’s next. Rainbow started walking around then trotting then flying and Twilight started to regain her balance and started to slowly cast spells to hit Rainbow some did but were not powerful enough to do any harm or injury to Rainbow. That’s when Rainbow knew there was only one other way to end this. A rainboom could end it all. She flew as high as the stadium would let her she swirled around a few time to get prepared Twilight still sent bolts of magic to hit rainbow but it couldn’t hit her not one bolt. Rainbow was ready she sped up faster and faster then got into possession. She flew straight down no holding back she thought to herself. Twilight looked up and knew this was the last of her that she had lost. The impact came Rainbow had hit the ground and caused an explosion. Both ponies lay unconscious on the rocky terrain motionless and breathe less (Insert sad music here) the guards came out with medical kits to check their pulses. They had resumed laying there for 10 minutes by that time some ponies left. However, when a lot had started to leave they were forced by Dent to stay and wait. A bit more of time passed when Twilight had started getting up. She looked over at Rainbow who still laid motionless. “I won? I WON! I did it! I won im so sorry Rainbow it came to this.” She went over and closed Rainbows eyes right when she closed them Twilight was kicked 20 feet in the air and fell back down and broke her collar bone. She cried in pain weeping. Rainbow slowly started to get up and moaned while speaking the words. “No~~pony UH AH! FUCK WITH RAINBOWDASH! Twilight quickly used a shield spell but was not sturdy enough to hold back a sword slash from Rainbow dash. Twilights head had been cut off and fell off her body. Rainbow fell to her hoofs and started crying. “*sniff* why why did I have to do this why! An evil laugh could be heard from the stands they looked up to see Dent chuckling about what had just happened to Twilight. They all went back to the mess hall for break before Celestia and Cadence would battle it out. Then a pony reporter came up to Rainbow and asked how it felt. “It was tough and sad having to kill a longtime friend but in a way I’m glad I wo- Oh no I won! Rainbow dash gulped and realized she would have to kill her number 1 best friend Applejack in Two days. She ran off with pre-tears in her eyes. She went to her room and slammed the door behind her shut. It wouldn’t be easy like it was with Twilight Applejack was her best friend. That is when Applejack opened the door and said “Rainbow I need to show you something.” “Yes Applejack?” Applejack grabbed Rainbow dash and passionately kissed Rainbow dash on the lips. Both enjoyed the kiss. After a minute Applejack broke the kiss and said. “I may be a mare in love with stallions but you are the only mare I have those kind of feelings for and if we do have to kill each other I need to do that and confess to you.” “Me too AJ I have felt the same way for a while and I wish you luck.” Applejack smiled then left the room. Rainbow sat on her bed shocked of what just happened she laid back and closed her eyes with a bright smile on her face. Rainbow dash took a book out of her saddlebag and looked at the pictures from her as a Philly to now. They contained pictures of her and Scootalo. Nevertheless, she had two special pages of her and Applejack. At the top, it said Friends forever. She realized and told herself that she needed to do something that will stop her from fighting Applejack. She saw Celestia at the end of the cafeteria in the corner of her eye but she never looked at her throughout all of break because that was her new enemy. The fateful speakers came on and commanded them to get report to the battlefield in five minutes. Therefore, they quickly finished their food and said goodbye to loved ones and friends. They started to leave when Shining Armor came up from behind and wished both of them good luck down there. Then he whispered into his wife’s ear. “Good luck down there sweetie and remember Celestia is your new enemy I love you.” Then they kissed goodbye for which could be the last moment and kiss they will ever share. Nevertheless, that won’t be known quiet yet until the winner of battle is crowned. They both walked down without saying a word to each other. They were greeted like the others by two guards. Told the rules and given 10 minutes of practice before for the third time that day ponies started to pour in and take their seats. Now Rainbow dash and Applejack were in the winner’s box. After being able to look over two fights both of them knew what to do armor first. Because that armor might save their lives. It saved Rainbow dash and Applejack. Hell if it was not for that armor the outcomes of these battles could be different if it wasn’t for that armor. Right after she put on her armor, she threw a knife at Celestia. Celestia stopped it with her magic quickly flew up and threw it back down at Cadence. She stopped it put it down flew up and tried for an Ariel attack. Celestia just missed her and was hit on impact. Both ponies fell in pain Cadence’s plan didn’t go as well as expected but still was able to hit her foe. It only took Celestia a couple seconds to get back up. She sent a Bolt of lightning right at Cadence it was an accurate hit. Cadence was hit right in the gut. She started to throw up a bit of blood from all the pain. Celestia flew down gracefully as if she was never injured or hit. She took one spear from the weapons. She held it at Cadence’s face. Now crying Celestia spoke. “Im sorry my student I will always remember you.” “Im not you DAMN STUDENT!” Cadence shot a huge ball of energy right at Celestia which made her slam into the wall. Cadence then put all her strength into picking up the weak princess flying into the air and throwing her back down to the rocky terrain. Celestia tried to move before Cadence could get another hit on her. But for some reason every bit she moved she felt pain not just in her body but mostly in her left wing. She yelped in pain she finally looked at her wing. Her eyes got big as she saw her wing was broken and no spell could fix it she tried getting up shivering in the pain that rocked her body. Cadence swooped down and used a spell that chained Celestia to the ground. Meanwhile Dent was laughing saying great move. For what seemed like hours Cadence kept coming down and hitting the poor princess. Finally one of her attacks missed and broke the chain she lost control of her flying and hit the ground hard enough to leave a huge gash on her leg. Some of her armor even broke into small pieces. Celestia saw this as an opportunity she got back on her hooves. Cadence was able to crawl and get some medicine but right when she was going to put a little more on it was kicked out of her hooves. In fear she slowly looked behind her to see Celestia standing up on all fours looking down at Cadence. She almost shat herself. “Celestia am sorry please don’t hurt me I’m very sorry just please don’t hurt me.” “Cadence the Empire doesn’t need you Luna and I can take their of them and Equestria.” Right before Celestia stumbled over to Cadence she went over to where the weapons had been. Grabbed a small knife that could finish Cadence off when she pulled it out Cadence screamed in fear. Celestia held it up and faster than anything brought the knife down it went right into Cadence. A new scream came from her pain it was in new places where pain was never felt. Celestia brought it back out with tears and a smirk on her face. She leaned over her starring into her eyes. The Medics came to see if she was dead but right when they came out. Cadence’s eyes popped open she pulled out the Knife and jammed into Celestia. Celestia fell on her back. The knife came back out and went through her again. Cadence threw the knife to the side and held her shoulder in pain from the stab wound. She put medicine on it. She sat breathing a sigh of relief. However, all of a sudden a gasp came from the crowed. Cadence sat confused but looked behind her to see Princess Celestia trotting over to her ready to attack. Cadence stood ready and braced. Celestia flew up but forgot about her broken wing she grunted and fell down once more. The announcer spoke on the intercom. “Two minutes remaining.” Cadence looked panicked looking for the time and seeing the clock countdown to both of them being killed. She found the knife. Right beside Celestia, she flew over to her and grabbed the knife. Celestia got ahold of Cadence and swung at her it missed. They struggled but Cadence was able to buck Celestia to the side and get ahold of the small bloody knife. Trotted over to the somehow still breathing princess who was shaky getting up but she got up just in time to buck Cadence to the ground. She walked over to her and whispered sorry it came to this she reached for the knife when Cadence stabbed her again. Then a second, time a third, time and a fourth, time. A fifth, and sixth, seventh, and eighth,. She repeatedly stabbed Celestia not giving up until all of her energy was gone and she couldn’t breathe. She fell back but then threw the knife at her foe and stuck in her. The medics came out right away to check Princess Celestia’s pulse. But made sure to keep a small distance incase Celestia wasn’t dead. They checked it and confirmed her dead. They took the body out of there. They helped Cadence up and take her to her room as everypony left for intermission before the last battle of the day.
