Journey Through Nightmares and Dreams
A long sleeping nightmare threatens all of Equestria. Lyra and Bon Bon must pursue a hidden family secret in order to lock away the nightmare again. Luna has her own battles to fight as she tries to keep the nightmare from overwhelming the land.

When Lyra's surrogate mother comes back to town after being gone for a year, Lyra must face a life-long phobia just to see her in the hospital. She's come home to Ponyville after waiting at the bedside of her sister, once the eldest Bellweather mare, whom has died of old age.
There, she learned of a secret that has been passed on from mother to eldest mare for generations. Nearly three hundred years have passed since the Bellweather family came through a dark gateway, once a cage holding a sleeping nightmare, and bound it again in the blood of the mares of the family line. The chain has been broken now and the spell bound into the blood of the Bellweather mares is fading.
The nightmare is coming forth again now that the Bellweather lineage is near its end, and time is running short. Ponies across Equestria begin succumbing to daytime nightmares that threaten not only their safety, but also that of all of those around them.
Luna, not one to let nightmares terrorize her citizenry, also becomes involved and tries to keep the nightmares at bay for as long as she can as quietly as she can. But with nightmares plaguing more and more ponies with alarming frequency, she may not be able to keep her sister, and the royal guard, from getting involved.
Can Lyra and Bon Bon restore the original spell laid down almost a millennium ago before the nightmare consumes all of Equestria?
