A Love That Burns Brighter Than The Sun

The next morning, Eternal Flames had woken up bright and early. He gets out of bed and cleans himself up in the bathroom. Brushing his teeth, combing his mane, and taking a nice hot shower. After spending 15 minutes getting cleaned up, he heads off to Twilight's castle to explore this new world she told him about. He wasn't exactly sure how far it was or what it was like, but whenever he's offered a chance to experience something new, he wasn't one to shy away from it. Eternal soon arrives at Twilight's doorstep and knocked on the door. Eternal waited for a good 5 seconds before the door unlocked and he saw his lavender friend who had a cute and bright smile on her face as he knew she was excited about this.

"I guess you're answer is "yes" then." Twilight said

"Yeah, it is. But the whole thing about this "other world" still seems a bit farfetched. How far is it anyway? I need to know so I can head home pack up." Eternal said

"Oh you won't have to walk or travel far. It's actually far closer than you think. Come on in."

"Um...ok?"

Twilight then lead Eternal into her castle and into the library where she had her old portal to Canterlot High School. At first glance, Eternal was confused of what the thing really was. Before he could say anything, Twilight's horn lit up and she had soon powered up the machine using her magic energy, causing a portal to appear. Eternal's eyes flung wide open, never moving from his spot as he gazed into the portal with curiousity and dumbfoundedness.

"Twilight, what the hell is this suppose to be?" Eternal says, walking up to the portal until he's inches away from entering.

"This, my dear friend, is the gateway that leads to another world. Although I should mention that you'll have to adjust to a few different...um...features while you're over there."

"Like what?"

"Just follow me and you'll know what I mean. Do you trust me?" she asks extending her hoof towards Eternal.

"*sigh* Yes, I trust, you, Twilight. Lead the way." he says as he let her grab his hoof and pulled him into the portal.

As they entered, Twilight kept her firm grip on Eternal. Eternal wasn't sure what was going on as he and Twilight were traveling. Suddenly a flashing white light blinds him.

Eternal then opened his eyes slowly only to see some strange lavender colored girl with the same indigo colored hair with dark purple and pink stripes on the sides just like Twilight. He felt dumbfounded as he was unaware of what this creature was. She had a light blue shirt and purple skirt with her cutie mark on it. She was standing on her hinde hooves which here covered by her pink and purple boots.

"What in the...Twilight?"

"Yup, it's me. You ok Eternal?"

"I think so, I don't feel any..." he pauses after he felt his own new hand make contact with his forehead. He pulls it away and sees that his "hooves" had changed.

"WHOA?! Twilight, what the hell is going on here? What happened to my hooves?"

"Easy, Eternal. Those are called hands. Everybody has those. But before I explain anything else, why don't you look yourself in the mirror, you'd be surprised." Twilight says smiling

"What are you talking abo-" Once again he pauses to see what he looks like in the mirror.

His skin was still white, but of course, his muzzle was small. He had tan pants and a thin tan coat over his dark red shirt. He saw that his mane (or his hair) was almost reaching his elbows. This made him uneasy at first, but then he calmed down with a few simple deep breaths and picturing a beautiful horizon in his head.

"Ok Twilight, first of all, how come you're standing on your hinde hooves without losing balance and why do I have this outfit on, although it does look good on me." Eternal says as he checks out his outfit in the mirror.

"Well, this world is inhabited by these creatures called "humans" and they don't walk around naked like the rest of us ponies do back in our home, Equestria. Also, humans always stand on their own two "feet," why don't you give it a shot?"

"Hmm...I suppose I could try." He replies trying to stand up.

He felt a bit wobbly at first. Somewhere inside his mind he wished he never accepted this invitation being a stranger in a strange land AS a strange being. Finally he stopped wobbling and stood straight up.

"Great, now try to walk." Twilight says

Eternal nods and slowly lifts his right leg and presses his foot on the ground in front of him. He did the same with his left leg foot until he finally got the hang of it.

"That's great. You actually learned faster than I thought." Twilight said happily

"Yeah, I suppose." Eternal said

After the tutorial on walking like a human, a third voice is heard from behind Twilight.

"Haven't seen you in ages, Twilight." it said.

"Oh hi, Sunset. It's good to see you again." Twilight says turning around and giving her a hug.

Twilight turned and saw her friend Sunset Shimmer. A former student of Princess Celestia who now lives in the human world. Eternal tilts his head to see what she looks like. He blushed at the sight of this girl with turqoise eyes, light yellow skin, fiery red and yellow hair, accompanied with the black leather jacket and purple shirt underneath, orange skirt and black and purple boots. He backed up a bit so he could try not to be seen. But to no avail.

"Oh, who is this? A friend of yours?" Sunset asks.

"Actually yeah. Come on over here and say hi to her." Twilight says signaling him to come over.

Eternal then regained his composure.

"Right, okay." he says as he walks up to Sunset and extends his hand. "I'm pleased to meet you, I'm Eternal Flames."

"Sunset Shimmer, nice to meet you too." she replies giving him a handshake.

"Can I tell you a secret, Sunset?" Twilight whispers with a smile.

"Um...sure, what is it." Sunset replies back

"You just shook hands with Princess Celestia's son and he's the Prince of Equestria." she whispers in a way where Eternal couldn't even hear her voice.

"HE'S WHAT?!" Sunset shouts in disbelief.

"What? What's wrong?" he asked

"Are you really Princess Celestia's son AND the Prince of Equestria?" Sunset asks still shocked.

Eternal's eyes shrunk.

"DAMN IT, TWILIGHT!!!!!" He shouts making her laugh.
