A Love That Burns Brighter Than The Sun

All the girls along with Eternal Flames had gathered into Pinkie Pie's bedroom to play Truth or Dare. They all sat around in a circle. Eternal was still unaware of how the game went so he let Sunset explain.

"Alright, it goes like this. Let's say you pick of us. You say to us "Truth or Dare" and depending on which of us you choose, we either pick Truth, meaning we have to answer questions truthfully, or Dare, which is when you tell us to do something either that's fun, embarrassing, or just plain funny. Got it?" Sunset explains.

"Yeah, I think I got it now." Eternal says nodding.

"Alright then, who wants to ask first?" Sunset asks

"OOH, OOH, OOH, PICK ME, PICK ME!!!" Pinkie shouts with her arm high in the air.

"Okay Pinkie, it WAS your idea to play this game." Sunset says.

"That bites. I had the most daring dare for this guy over here." Rainbow Dash says pointing to Eternal.

"You'll have your turn eventually." Sunset says.

"Okay, Applejack, Truth or Dare?"

"Ah pick Truth." AJ replies

'As expected from the Element of Honesty.' Eternal thought to himself.

"Okay, do you ever wish your big brother Big Mac could speak more frequently?" Pinkie asks.

"Nope." Applejack responds in her own version of Big Mac's vocabulary.

"Aww..." Pinkie pouts with her big puppy dog eyes.

"Ma turn. Rainbow Dash, Truth or Dare?"

"I pick dare!"

'Like the daredevil she always is." Eternal says in his thoughts

"Ah dare you to tickle Eternal over here." She says pointing to Eternal next to her.

"Heh, that's it? This'll be easy." She says wiggling her fingers as she inches closer to Eternal with a devious grin. Eternal wasn't moving a muscle while he was looking back at Rainbow Dash. She then got all over his body and started tickling him like a crazed maniac. She kept doing this until she could see Eternal laugh, but Eternal still keeping his "Poker Face" on him while she continued her tickle assault.

"Alright, Rainbow Dash that's enough. He ain't gonn' laugh even if you kept it up 24 hours." says Applejack with a chuckle.

"Aww, man. I was so close!" She says slamming onto the floor in disappointment.

"Well at least you tried your best, "Little Dashie." Eternal says with a warm smile.

"Hey only Pinkie Pie can call me that." Rainbow says giving him a playful push. "Now then, Eternal, Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Aren't you fun at parties." Rainbow Dash mumbles to herself. "Well then, which on of US do YOU like the most?"

Eternal's eyes shrunk, which made the other girls giggle a bit. He found this cute at first, but then he answered by pointing his finger near Sunset Shimmer. This causes her to blush and giggle again with the other girls.

"Well, well, well. Someone is quite the smitten kitten." says Rarity.

"My turn now." Eternal says. He looks at the girls around him and finally makes his decision. "Rarity, Truth or Dare?"

"I pick dare, darling." Rarity says with a confident smirk.

"Alright then, I dare you to change Rainbow Dash's hairstyle and make it look just like yours." Eternal says with a smirk.

"OOH, with pleasure, darling. Now come here Dashie." Rarity says getting closer to Rainbow Dash.

"DAMN YOU, ETERNAL!!! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!" Rainbow Dash says running away from Rarity who, driven by the inspiring idea, was close behind Rainbow Dash. Because of this, Eternal and the others started laughing.

"Ok, ah gotta admit, that was mighty clever." says Applejack before she continues laughing. While Rarity was chasing Rainbow Dash trying to give her a brand new Rarity style makeover, the others let Twilight take her turn.

"Okay let's see...um...OH! Sunset, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare!"

"Okay, I dare you to...." Twilight signals Sunset to come over to tell her the dare. She also signals the other girls, except Eternal. As she finishes, all of the girls start giggling, except for Sunset, who was blushing. Eternal was confused of what they were giggling about.

"What's with all the giggling and secrecy? What was the dare?" Eternal asks

"We're not telling" They say in unison.

"Well...here goes nothing." says Sunset as she crawls toward Eternal still blushing. At the same time, Eternal also started to blush and backed away a bit.

"W-W-What are you doing?" he stutters.

Sunset then had him backed into the corner of the wall. Soon she leaned in and planted a passionate kiss right on his lips. His eyes flung wide open as she did this. At the same time, Rarity came back with Rainbow Dash who had Rarity's hairstyle and the girls started fangirl screaming at the sight of the two lovebirds.

"OTP, OTP, OTP!!!" They all shouted as Sunset had Eternal in a lip lock.

The kiss lasted for a minute until finally she pulled back. "That was the dare they made me do. Please don't be mad." said Sunset, still blushing as red as her hair.

"I...I'm not mad." Eternal replies still blushing as well. 'My....my first kiss...' he thought to himself.

The girls finally brought the two love birds back into the circle and continued with the game. Since Twilight had taken Rarity's turn, Rarity was given the chance to go next. Eternal and Sunset had finally calmed down.

"Ok, let's see. Ah, Fluttershy. Truth or Dare?"

"Um...I um...I pick truth."

'Timid as always. How adorable.' says Eternal in his thoughts with a warm smile

"Out of all the animals you've cared for, which ones do you feel close to the most?" Rarity asks.

"Oh my...um...there's so many. It's so hard for me to choose just one. But if I had to pick...I..I guess...small forest creatures along with dogs and cats are the ones I love so much." Fluttershy says gently placing her hands on her cheeks, smiling.

"Awww" the girls shout in unison.

"You truly are one of a kind, Fluttershy. This world needs kind and caring people like you." Eternal says.

"Oh, thank you so much." says Fluttershy, as she gives Eternal a gentle hug. Eternal hugs her as well.

2 hours go by and finally, Twilight decided it was time to take Eternal Flames back to Equestria. The other girls escorted them back to the statue outside Canterlot High. They each gave each other hugs.

"Thanks for everything, girls. I really enjoyed your company...maybe when I have the time, I'll stop by for another visit." Eternal says to them as Twilight leaps through the portal.

"Yer more than welcome to stop on by anytime, partner." Applejack replies.

Eternal takes a few steps into the portal but then looks back at the girls...more specifically, Sunset Shimmer. He slightly waves good bye to her and she does the same. Soon, Eternal fully steps into the portal head back to Equestria. Sunset gave a soft sigh, which in turn made the girls look towards her.

"What's the matter darling?" Rarity asks.

"Huh? Oh nothing."

"Ya sure?" Applejack asks

"Yeah, I'm fine." Sunset replies. 'No...no maybe it's not nothing...I think........I think I'm in love.' She says in her thoughts making her blush. She couldn't deny it any more. She had fallen in love with the Prince of Equestria.
