This is the start of a whole new story. This comes from a suggestion from Darth Wrex.

The Music is Turned Down

On a Saturday evening, Twilight and her friends are backstage at a concert at Canterlot State Park. Sunset Shimmer looks at the crowd through the curtain.

“Wow!” Sunset gasped. “Look at that crowd.”

“You bet.” Rainbow Dash replied. “This is going to be a big turnout.”

“I think it’s time to get prepared.” Twilight suggested.

Sunset and Rainbow strapped on their guitars, Applejack strapped on her bass, Pinkie Pie went to her drum set and picked up her drumsticks, Rarity strapped on her keytar, Fluttershy picked up her tambourine, and Twilight got a hold of her microphone. The girls took their places on stage, and waited to perform.

“Good evening, Canterlot City!” Greeted socialite Hoity Toity. “I present to you, the noble group of seven, the Rainbooms!”

The curtain opens up. And, there are the Rainbooms, receiving applause from the crowd. Suddenly, former principal of Crystal Prep, Abacus Cinch, steps onto the stage.

“Twilight Sparkle!” Cinch shouted. “What is the meaning of this?!”

“We’re performing a concert for these nice people.” Twilight Sparkle responded, defending herself. “Besides, you don’t boss me around anymore.”

“Is that so?”

Seething with anger, Cinch grabbed Twilight by the shirt, and dragged her to the backstage. The other girls put down their instruments and pursue the two individuals. Cinch threw Twilight to the floor hard. Twilight looked at her former principal as she starts to turn bright red with absolute rage.

The other girls rushed to help their fallen friend. Cinch then rushed into them, knocking a few down. She then grabs Fluttershy, and throws her onto Twilight.

“FLUTTERS!” Rainbow Dash gasped as Cinch grabs her by her shirt.

“SHUT UP!” Cinch yelled as she punched her in the face. Rainbow tripped and landed near the other fallen girls.

Meanwhile, Cinch keeps yanking at Rarity’s hair. “This will teach you to accept despair!”

Rarity holds on to her hair after the vicious woman lets go. Suddenly, Pinkie lands on top of her.

“Sorry, Rarity.” Pinkie sobbed. “That mean woman just threw me on to you like a trash bag.”

Cinch then slapped Sunset in the face multiple times. “You are an abomination everywhere, YOU SHE-DEMON!”

Sunset went to her knees, crying her eyes out. Applejack bent over to comfort her until Cinch hit her on the back, and the farm girl fell on top of the leather clad girl. Soon, Abacus Cinch walked onto the stage, and grabbed the microphone.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” Cinch announced, “tonight’s concert is cancelled. You can all go home.”

The audience started to leave the park. Cinch returned backstage, to see the seven girls, battered, bruised, and struck down.

“This is where your music died!” Cinch said angrily. “FOR GOOD!”

She stomps all over the girls as she leaves the area. Hoity Toity looks at the seven fallen musicians, and gave instructions to a maintenance crew.

“Pack up their instruments carefully.” Hoity Toity informed. “Then, arrange for these girls to be taken to the hospital, to get checked out.”

Later, ambulances came and had Twilight and her friends boarded, then they were taken to the hospital with Hoity Toity following then in his own car.

Blasted Abacus Cinch. Hoity Toity thought. She’s going to pay for this someday.
