In one of the Jedi workshops, Celestia, Luna, Skybreaker and the rest of the council were staring at a laser that was pointing at something on a table.

That something was the relic key that Twilight had gotten, which they hoped was about to meet its end. "Everybody ready?" Celestia asked, as she and the others placed eye-protecting goggles over their heads. "Place the element inside the laser."

Skybreaker used The Force to open the box Twilight and the others had retrieved, Luna lifting a highly reflective rock out of it and moving it slowly towards the laser. Skybreaker opened part of the device and Luna quickly placed it in the opening, Skybreaker shooting and locking the machine shut. "Element secured," he stated.

"Alright, everyone." Celestia held up a remote. "May The Force be with us all." They nodded and she hit the button, causing the laser to power up. The barrel began to spin, the multiple tubes that made up the barrel beginning to glow as it charged up more and more. "And...FIRE!" She hit another button and the light shot out towards the key.

The light struck the relic and the block it was currently sitting on.

Everyone watched, as the part of the block that was being hit by the laser began to melt. And the wall behind it was also melting, leaving a triangular shape of wall where the laser was being blocked. But no matter how much the laser melted, the relic wasn't being affected at all.

"Shutting it off," Celestia sighed as she hit the remote again. "Even that wasn't enough."

As the laser stopped, Luna used The Force to lift the relic up and float it over to her. It wasn't even glowing hot, Luna holding a hand close to see if it was even warm. "Whatever alchemy was used to make this thing is clearly what we need to build our own temples and ships with. Nothing seems to damage it."

"Looks like we're locking it back up," Celestia sighed as she took the key in her hand. "Destroying this thing might very well be impossible."

"Maybe," Skybreaker nodded. "But leaving it in the temple's protection is only going to plant a target on our backs. We need to find a way to destroy it before the Sith try to get it back."

Another master spoke up. "I highly doubt the Sith would attack Canterlot. It'd be a fool's endeavour."

"Exactly why it's likely they'll do it," Celestia stated. "After all, those that fall to the Dark Side of The Force are nothing but fools. If there's a chance they can get this back, then of course they'll try and attack Canterlot. Which is why we need to find them before they come to get us."

Skybreaker turned to her. "Any luck finding anything useful, from the memories of the one Shining and the others saved?" Celestia shook her head.

"We've tried, but all his memories from his time under their hold are too scrambled to get any useful info from."

"So we're back to square one," Skybreaker stated.

"We'll find a way to find them," Luna stated. "We have over ten thousand Jedi, spread out across the galaxy. It's only a matter of time before one of them finds something." The others hoped she was right. There was no telling what kind of trouble the Sith could cause next. If they couldn't find out where they were located, only trouble would follow.

In another part of the temple, Sunset was walking around looking worried.

As she passed a nearby window, she looked up at the sky. She expected to see her master's ship, suddenly appear in the sky and start to rain chaos down on the city. But there was nothing.

She remembered getting the message from her master, telling her he was coming to retrieve her. If she didn't have the relic when he got there, she didn't want to think what kind of punishment he had ready for her. But she had no idea where the relic was being kept.

"Sunset?" She spun around and saw Twilight, as she, Pinkie and Rarity headed her way. "You okay? You look like something's bothering you."

"Oh," she placed a hand on her back. "I just...slept funny last night."

"Ah," Rarity nodded, "I can see that happening. We all grew up sleeping on those beds. They're better for your back, but it does take some getting used to."

Pinkie stepped forward, "want me to do a healing touch on you? Should clear up all the knots you have." Sunset shook her head.

"No, I'm fine. Just need to stretch properly." She bent her back, feeling something click as she did. "So, what are you girls doing today?"

"We're heading to the training room," Twilight explained. "With everything that's been happening recently, we haven't had the chance to do any sabre training. We're gonna need all the strength we can muster for when we run into The Sith again." Sunset nodded, "wanna watch?"

Sunset tried to think of a way to say no, without drawing suspicion. She needed to find the relic and fast, but had no idea where it might be. "Sure." Seeing no other option, she agreed and followed the girls towards the holodecks.

When they arrived, they found they weren't the only ones doing sabre training.

The room had become a larger dojo and in it, multiple Padawans were training. Flash and Thorax were fighting against one another, whilst Applejack and Rainbow were doing the same. Fluttershy was facing off against the big and burly Iron Core, using her smaller and more manoeuvrable body to avoid his laser spear's attacks.

Rarity and Pinkie stepped over to train themselves, placing their weapons into the slots provided, whilst Twilight turned to Sunset. "Pretty cool, huh?"

"I guess," Sunset nodded.

"Wanna give it a try?" Sunset looked shocked by this, as Twilight typed at the computer.

"But I'm not a Jedi."

"True. But there's no reason you can't see what it's like to use a Lightsaber. This'll just be a holographic version, so it should be fine with you using it." She brought up a bunch of Lightsaber handles and stepped aside. "Pick one you think works well for you."

Sunset sighed and looked through the different styles, seeing if there were any that might fit her Lightsaber. And after a few moments, she noticed one which had an almost perfect recreation of her hilt. It was silver in place of of black, but it was almost exactly like her sword.

"This one." He pressed it and the Lightsaber became solid in her grasp. She ignited it and found it had a blue blade, Twilight nodding as she set her own Lightsaber in the machine.

They stepped out into the training room and the others noticed Sunset's weapon, all clearly curious to see how well she used one. Sunset, meanwhile, worried she might give away how good she was with a saber.

"Okay," Twilight told her, "just relax. You won't feel anything when you get cut, so don't worry about accidents. Let's just see how well you can use it." She took a fighting stance and Sunset tried to copy it, her body already telling her she was in the wrong position.

Twilight then ran forward and swung the sword at her, Sunset managing to block it but pretending to lose her balance as she staggered back. She then tried to slash back, but Twilight was able to easily block it and dealt a hit to Sunset's shoulder.

The girl gasped and staggered away, holding her shoulder for a moment as she pointed her sword at Twilight. She could have easily avoided that if she wanted to, but hopefully it would help her keep up appearances.

Twilight attacked again and Sunset pretended to barely block each attack, at one point pretending to get a lucky shoot on Twilight's leg. The girl hissed and jumped back, hopping on one hoof, but recovered and the pair kept fighting.

The others watched, interested in seeing just how far Sunset could go. As far as they could tell, she was doing alright. But how long she was able to keep it up was the question.

Up in space, Sombra's ships approached Canterlot.

With each passing second, they drew closer to the planet. It wouldn't be long before their sensors picked up on the approaching fleet. "Chrysalis!" The insectoid Sith stepped up to him, as the planet came into view. "Are the EMP generators online?"

"Yes, Master. Each ship will fire an electromagnetic burst at the planet, knocking out all electronics on that side. Our ships can then attack unimpeded."

"Good," Sombra nodded. "And how long with the planet's systems remain offline?"

"Not long," Chrysalis frowned. "The backup systems will kick in almost immediately. But they will take time to fully activate. Once everything's offline, we should have about five or ten minutes before the planetary defences are operational. But by then, our ships will already be past the defences and causing serious havoc."

"Excellent," Sombra nodded. "Fire the EMPs as soon as we're in range."

"Yes, Master." She turned towards the bug troopers flying the ship. "Prepare EMP cannons." The troopers got to work, as the ships drew closer and closer to the planet.

Each ship extended an antenna, pointing it directly at the planet. And slowly, each one began to spark with energy that filled the entire dish. Within minutes, the energy would reach the point of explosion and hit the planet seconds after firing.

In Canterlot's space control centre, the manager of the establishment was doing his paperwork when he got a call.

"Sir. You should get out here, right now." The alien stood up and ran out of his office, arriving in a large monitor room where many controllers were hard at work. He asked what was happening. "A large collection of ships have just entered our space. We're trying to confirm who they are, but they refuse to give us any identification."

"Activate the planetary shield," he stated. But just as they were about to do that, every computer, droid and machine suddenly died. "What happened?" He looked around the dark room, waiting for the emergency lights to come back online.

"A large electromagnetic blast," an operator announced. "Systems have been completely knocked offline."

"Get them back online?"

"We'll have to wait until the emergency power system comes online. Won't be for another few minutes." As soon as she said that, the entire building suddenly started shaking. Parts of the roof began to break apart and dust fell down onto them, many beginning to cough.

"What's...what's happening?" He coughed, as the building shook again and they raced to get out before the room collapsed on top of them. Many others were rushing to escape the building as well and as soon as they were outside, they looked up and saw some form of destroyer ship firing lasers down at them.

Everyone was shocked to see this, as the destroyer began spitting out a bunch of smaller ships. Canterlot was under attack.

Sunset and Twilight continued their duel, with Sunset continuing to not have the real skills she possessed with a Lightsaber.

Currently, Twilight had managed to hit both her arms with her blade and chop off a lock of her hair. But Sunset had managed to get a few hits in as well, landing two strikes on Twilight's leg and another on her side.

Sunset swung her blade at Twilight and the Padawan blocked, the two being blade locked and pushing against one another. Their faces were millimetres apart and Sunset glared at her, whilst Twilight smiled. "You're really good. A natural."

"I...thanks." Sunset pushed back hard and Twilight staggered back, as Sunset charged forward and started swinging wildly. Twilight did her best to block, with Sunset feeling herself losing control. In seconds, she found herself falling upon her old training and started aiming for key spots to incapacitate an opponent and force them close to death.

Twilight did her best to block, but Sunset was attacking too fast.

The next thing she knew, the fingers on her right hand were sliced off and she almost lost her grip on her Lightsaber. She was forced to fight with only her left hand and thanks to this Sunset was able to easily hit her in several areas that prevented her from properly countering. And eventually, Sunset managed to get under her guard and cut Twilight's hand off.

"Augh!" She cried, as her Lightsaber flew into the air.

Sunset was able to grab it before it hit the ground and pointed it at Twilight, the green blade pointing towards the girl's neck whilst Sunset's was ready to counter anything Twilight cried. The two stared at one another in shock, Sunset realising she had lost control.

And before either of them could say anything, Rainbow spoke up. "That was awesome!" They turned to the others, who were all smiling at them. "Dude. Where'd you learn to do something like that?"

"I...I don't know." Sunset extinguished her blades and lowered them. "It was just...reflex."

"No way that's a reflex," Iron told her. "Those movements were trained into your body. It would have taken months, maybe years to learn how to do something like that." He gave her a curious look. "Who are you?" Sunset frowned, fearing she might have just blown her cover.

But before she could say anything, an alarm filled the air and everyone was on guard.

"What the heck is that?" Flash asked, as the holodeck suddenly switched off and Twilight regained her missing limbs.

"Fire alarm?" Pinkie asked, trying to remember what that particular siren meant.

"No," Twilight shook her head, "that's the emergency alarm. If it sounds, Padawans need to meet up with their masters and await further instructions." Flash nodded and activated his gauntlet, bringing up Shining's call details.

"Shining, you there?"

"I'm here," Shining told him. "I'm with Cadance and Spitfire. If Thorax and Rainbow are with you, tell them to meet us at the main hall of the temple. The rest of the knights and masters should be there as well." They nodded and headed off in that direction, Twilight turning to Sunset.

"Go back to your quarters."

"What?" Sunset looked shocked, "you can't be serious."

"It's too dangerous. If the Temple's under attack, the sleeping quarters are the safest place for you to be. Please, just go there." Sunset frowned, but sighed and nodded. "Alright. I'll come check on you later." Twilight ran off and Sunset found herself alone in the hall, the teen wondering what to do.

She looked around and after a few moments of contemplation, she smirked and headed the way Twilight and the others had gone. She would need to make sure she wasn't seen, but this might be the perfect chance for her.

Flash and everyone ran towards the main hall and as they approached, more and more Jedi of varying ranks appeared and were heading in the same direction.

They soon arrived at the main hall and Flash quickly spotted Shining, moving over to stand by his side as Thorax stood beside Cadance and Rainbow reached Spitfire. The rest of the Padawans quickly found their teachers, with only Twilight, Iron and a newly arrived Trixie not able to find their's.

But that quickly changed, as Celestia, Luna and Skybreaker flew down with serious looks on their faces. "Jedi!" Celestia announced. "We find ourselves in a situation. Canterlot is under attack!" This statement caused many eyes to go wide, as the Jedi began whispering about it.

Luna spoke up next. "Silence!" Everyone shut up, "now is not the time to be gossiping. Our planet is under attack and we must intercede before too much damage can be done. All knights and masters, head to the ships you have assigned to you. We'll need every Jedi we can spare. If your Padawans are battle ready, then take them with you."

"However," Skybreaker announced, "not all of us can go. We must keep a select group of Jedi here to defend the Temple and its younglings. Any Padawans not battle ready will stay and protect the Temple, alongside the Temple Guards." The knights nodded, as Celestia called an end to the sudden meeting.

The Jedi knew time was of the essence, but many felt that very little information had been given. They prayed they would receive more intel, once they were heading to the area being attacked.

"Come on," Shining told Flash. "We'll head there in our Delta-Xs." Flash nodded, Shining turning to Cadance, "you've got The Shooting Star." Cadance nodded and turned to Thorax, who nodded back as they began to head towards the exit leading to the ship yards.

Twilight was about to follow, until she heard Celestia call out her name.

She looked around and saw Celestia fly down and land next to her, a worrisome look appearing on her face. "Twilight, I want you to stay here and help the guard protect the temple." Twilight's eyes widened.

"Master?" Twilight couldn't help but wonder why she was being sidelined. Had she not shown her fighting skills improvement since her last fight with The Sith.

"Twilight, we have no idea who's attacking the planet. But I think everyone had a good idea who it could be." Twilight nodded, as Celestia calmly placed something in her hand. "I need you to keep this safe. If they're after it, they'll attack and search for the vault. But if it's not in the vault, they won't know where to look. If the temple is attacked, protect it. But if you can't, escape with as many younglings as you can and get away."

"I understand," Twilight looked down at the relic now in her hand. "I won't let you down, master." Celestia nodded and turned to leave, Twilight placing the relic in her pocket. No matter what, she would keep it safe.

What none of them realised was that someone who wasn't a Jedi, had snuck in and listened to the whole thing. And with some clever manipulation of the airwaves, Sunset had heard everything Celestia had told Twilight.

The girls frowned, knowing Twilight was going to protect what she had come to retrieve. If she wanted to get it, she needed to defeat Twilight. And that should be easy. Go to Twilight when she's alone and once she was distracted, Sunset would find some way to knock her out and take the relic.

But as she thought of that, Sunset's mind suddenly sparked with the memories of everything she and Twilight had done.

Fighting off the spine creature. Winning the water balloon fight. Helping stop the train and just hanging out, reading in the Jedi archives. Sunset knew she had to get the relic. But she didn't want Twilight to know the girl she thought was a friend, was actually a Sith.

"Stop," Sunset told her, "don't be stupid. You're not friends. You're just using her...right?" She frowned, wishing there was a way to keep her secret whilst getting the relic. "It might be helpful...having a way to be near the Jedi without them trying to kill me." She wasn't sure she actually believed that.

After a few moments of thought, an idea popped into her head. It was a long-shot, but it just might work.

She took out the communicator and activated it, hoping they were still listening to the channel. "Master. Your attack has given me a chance to acquire the relic. But it's in the hands of a strong Jedi. I can defeat them, but I'm gonna need something. I'm sure you've brought them with you. So if you can find a way to get them to me, I'll have the relic in hand in no time."

The Delta-X ships were fuelled up and ready to go.

Flash, Shining, Rainbow, Spitfire, Luna, Iron, Skybreaker, Thorax, Tidal and many other Jedi, were all taking off and heading towards the site of the battle at high speeds. The Shooting Star and many other smaller ships were also taking off, with Cadance, Trixie, Pinkie, Fluttershy and First inside the Shooting Star.

Celestia was piloting her own ship, with Heather, Applejack, Rarity, Ruby and a few more Jedi inside.

As they took off, Celestia opened the coms channel for all the ships to speak to one another. "Alright, Jedi. We have no idea what's waiting for us at this battle. But the aim is simple. Stop the invaders from attack, protect the civilians and try to make sure there's as little collateral damage as possible. Does everyone understand." Multiple replies and agreements could be heard, as Celestia nodded. "Then may The Force be with us all." With that, the ships accelerated forwards.

The area of Canterlot that was under attack was in utter chaos.

The destroyer ships continued to rain down destruction upon the planet, whilst the smaller fighters flew around and dealt with any ship or speeder that tried to escape from the onslaught. On the ground, droids had been deployed and were currently firing at anything that moved.

The people were in absolute terror and as they tried to escape, they found themselves shot by droid, fighter or destroyer. The humanoid droids were easy enough to avoid, but the wasp and scorpion droids were much harder to escape.

As the droids followed their programming to attack, they suddenly detected a noise that their systems identified as being important. Sirens.

The machines spun around and saw a bunch of Sector Security ships, all of which managed to avoid the fighter and destroyer fire. The cruisers started firing at the droids, blowing them up in large groups. Several cruisers managed to land with the security officers climbing out.

Lightning Blitz was amongst them, the officer firing at them with his dual pistols. "Get these people to safety!" He ordered, as several more officers rushed over to the people in danger and began to lead them away.

Several wasp droids soon arrived and fired at him, but Lightning was able to avoid the blasts and shoot them out of the sky. As he did, a fighter flew by and fired at him. The laser struck his cruiser and caused it to explode, sending Lightning flying across the street and almost over the edge of a platform.

The security officer let out a moan and pushed himself up, as several battle droids began to approach.

Lightning saw them coming and noticed his blasters had been thrown from his hands, the security officer noticing them and realising they were too far away. If he went for them, the droids would open fire.

However, the droids soon aimed their weapons at him. Obviously, they intended to shoot him either way.

But before they could fire, a laser flew down and exploded in front of them. They were knocked back and Lightning managed to brace himself before the shockwave hit, the security officer looking up and seeing one of the Jedi fighters flying overhead.

Several more ships appeared and started dog-fighting the enemy vessels, the Jedi ships proving far more manoeuvrable as they shot down several fighters before any of them could react to the Jedi appearing.

More ships began to appear, many of them large freighters that flew down and floated just above the ground. Moments later, ramps folded down with Celestia stepping out of one.

She looked around and saw the many droids, as she spread her wings and ignited her yellow Lightsaber. The Jedi Grandmaster took to the air and thrust her hand forward, causing the droids to be blown back whilst the people they were attacking were untouched.

More Jedi started appearing out of the ship, as Celestia began to give commands. "Get as many people on board as possible. Once you're full, get them to safety." The Jedi nodded and as the droids approached, they ignited their blades and all began to rush out and do battle against the machines.

Lightning watched as the Jedi fought their way through the droids, freeing up the people under attack and guarding them as they headed for the ship. More of the larger Jedi ships were beginning to land, allowing the Jedi out and the people to board and escape.

The Delta-X ships were all flying around, destroying more of the fighters. The only ships not currently being attacked were the destroyers and that was only because if those ships were destroyed, the wreckage would crash all around the city and do even more damage.

As Lightning grabbed his blasters, he spotted Rarity and Ruby fighting several droids and quickly got into the action.

He fired at the machine and destroyed their weapons, freeing the Jedi to incapacitate them. "Thank you," Rarity stated when she spotted him. "I suppose you're going to blame us for this attack."

"Are you to blame?" He asked, unsure why he was asking that given his stance on Jedi.

"Honestly, we have no idea. These are definitely Sith machines. But why they're attacking here instead of the temple is anyone's guess." She used The Force to knock a battle droid into a scorpion, the insectoid robot using its tail blaster to destroy it but this allowed Ruby to get in close and cut through the machine.

"Just focus on stopping them," Ruby stated. "We'll figure out what they're planning later." They all nodded and continued to fight against the droids, as the first of the ships was filled to the brim and made its escape.

But as it tried to get away, several bug troopers saw them coming and tried to follow. But they were soon intercepted by a Delta-X, which managed to shoot them down before they could attack the cargo ships.

"Gotcha!" Flash laughed, as he did a barrel roll to avoid several bug fighters from hitting him. Springer quickly countered, targeting these ships and firing.

"Flash," Springer then spotted something. "The Shooting Star's about to leave. We should make sure it gets away safely."

"On it." Flash spun the ship around and headed towards the freighter, as the loading ramp was raised. "Cadance. We got 'cha back. Just get out of there as quick as you can."

"Okay. Thanks, Flash. Is Thorax okay? I lost contact with him when we entered the battle zone." Flash frowned and tried to get in contact with Thorax. But he wasn't able to lock onto his signal.

"I'm sure he's fine," Flash stated. "But I'll keep an eye out for him." Flash frowned, fearing Thorax might be trying to do something dumb.

Flash remembered Thorax mentioning how the bug troopers were the same species as him. That had certainly been quite the surprise for almost everyone. But if the troopers were here, Thorax might be having trouble fighting against them.

Thorax was actually having no issue fighting against these bug troopers.

The insectoid Padawan was flying around, shooting any fighter he might happen to come across. He frowned, knowing there were members of his species in those ships. But they had chosen to attack his planet. He wasn't just about to hold back because they were the same species. He couldn't.

He dodged another fighter's blaster fire and launched his own attacks, hitting the ship and destroying it. The wreckage flew down and crashed into the side of a building, Thorax, flinching and praying that part of the building was empty. They had to find a way to stop these ships from blowing up in areas of high collateral damage.

It was then that he happened to pass close to the destroyer, which floated up above the city.

As he did, he sensed something and looked up towards it. Some kind of strange sensation, that told him something up there was calling out to him. But he wasn't sure exactly what.

Thorax wasn't the only one sensing this.

Up on the destroyer, Chrysalis was staring down at the city. And as a Delta-X flew past, she sensed something. The Force was drawing her towards something inside that ship. Something that made her unable to look away.

"Mother." She looked around and saw Pharynx, her soon moving towards her. "What's wrong? You seem troubled by something."

Chrysalis glanced down at the ship, still feeling drawn to it. She frowned, unable to figure out why she was feeling pulled to it. But her spirit was telling her she needed to meet whoever was in that ship.

"Master," she moved over to Sombra. "I request permission to head down into the fight. I can feel something down there. The Force is guiding me to head down there."

Sombra frowned. "The Force does not control us. We do not blindly follow its whims. It is a tool for us to use." Chrysalis frowned. "But if you want to follow it, I will not stop you. Just know that if something bad happens because you did so, I will not let it go unpunished."

"I understand," Chrysalis nodded as she headed towards the destroyer's fighter bay.

"Doom," Sombra stated. "I intend to head down onto the battlefield myself." Doom turned to him in shock. "It's about time the galaxy saw what kind of power the Dark Side of the Force has awarded me. Prepare my battle armor."

"Yes, Master. And what would you like me to do whilst you're gone?"

"Stay on this ship and continue to coordinate our troops. Once Solara manages to get her hands on the relic key, we'll need to make a quick exit." Doom nodded and took his master's place on the centre control chair, as more and more explosions went off outside the ship.

Chrysalis and Pharynx made their way through the ship towards the fighter bay, Pharynx turning to his mother.

"I'm coming with you. Whatever's pulling you towards it might be dangerous. We can't afford to lose our queen." Chrysalis gave him a look, seeing the determination on his face. Pharynx might not have been a Force Wielder, like her, but he and all his 'siblings' were highly resistant to Force Manipulation. She wasn't going to be changing his mind.

"Very well. Our objective is to find the ship that's drawing me to it and capture it. I don't want it destroyed until I've determined what's inside of it. Understand?"

"Yes, mother." They arrived at the fighter bey and Chrysalis headed over to her personal fighter, whilst Pharynx commandeered one of his own. The pair were soon being lifted over the drop hole and as soon as the arms holding them released their ships, they shot down and flew through the air.

Chrysalis flew as fast as she could, following the pulling sensation that was drawing her close to the ship in question.

Several Jedi ships also tried to hit them, but Chrysalis managed to avoid them and Pharynx blasted them out of the sky. She smiled and kept going, eventually finding the ship in question. "There you are." She lowered the power to her lasers and started firing, but the ship managed to evade the blasts and spin around.

The Delta-X fired back towards her, but Chrysalis was also able to avoid them. The two ships flew towards one another and at the last moment, they spun around so that they didn't collide with each other. That caused their cockpits to point at each other, allowing the pilots to see into the other's cockpit.

Chrysalis spotted the pilot and when she saw who it was, her eyes widened in horror.

Thorax's eyes widened, as he saw who was flying the ship that had just attacked him.

The taller female version of himself was like nothing he had ever seen. He then remembered the images of the Sith that had been shown all over Canterlot and the rest of the Republic, with her being one of them. "Who are you?" He didn't have time to think about that, as the two ships finally passed one another and Thorax found himself getting attacked by another ship.

He managed to avoid getting any serious damage, but one of his wings was struck.

"Gaaah!" He found his ship losing control, Thorax doing his best to try and regain control. But it was proving easier said than done. He sensed the other ship drawing closer to him and it hit his other wing, causing his control to grow even more unstable. "Gotta bail out!"

He did his best to fly close to the ground without crashing and once he was close enough, he hit the ejector button and the canopy flung open before his seat shot into the air.

He looked down and watched his ship, crash into the space between two high level platforms. It then continued to fall, until it crashed into the rocky base of the planet. Thorax continued to fall towards the ground, his sweat unleashing a parachute to make him slow down.

But an explosion then occurred near him, causing his seat and chute to be pushed around by the shockwave.

Thorax quickly hit the belt holding him to the seat and leapt off it, as another explosion sent it flying off until a laser hit it. He quickly spread his wings and flew towards the nearest piece of land, where a bunch of droids happened to be waiting. As such, he ignited his Lightsaber and quickly got to work dispatching them.

The wasp droids were the first to fall, Thorax flying around cutting their wings off. He then flew to the ground and used his sword to deflect the battle droids' shots, allowing him to land and quickly cut them down. But as he did, the only scorpion bot in the area pointed its weapon directly at him.

Thorax destroyed the last battle droid, as the scorpion's attack reached full charge at its fired.

The Padawan sensed the danger and without even looking, he leapt out of the way and the blast barely missed him. Instead, it hit the ground and caused a large explosion. The ground quickly began to break apart, causing it to fall into the level below the one Thorax was on.

The insect once again took to the air and as the scorpion droid prepared to fire again, the ground beneath its feet collapsed and it fell into the lower area. This caused its blast to fly wildly into the air, hitting and destroying a trio of Sith Fighters.

Thorax flew over to an area that wasn't damaged, his wings quickly giving out as he landed.

He panted, feeling exhausted after using his wings like that. But he couldn't rest. Not whilst there was still a battle going on. He had to find a way to get back to an area with more Jedi. No way was he going to be able to fight so many foes on his own.

But before he could ask where the others were, a Fighter suddenly appeared above him.

He turned towards it, as the ship began to slowly hover downwards to land on the ground. Thorax stepped backwards, but another ship appeared behind him and began to land as well. Thorax's gaze shifted between the two ships, as they finally landed and the pilots climbed out of them.

Chrysalis stepped down off her fighter, whilst Pharynx did the same. The two stared at Thorax and could barely believe what they were seeing. "I can't believe it," Chrysalis stated. "It's really you?"

"Who are you two?" Thorax called out, turning to Chrysalis. "I know you're the Sith that works for Sombra." He turned to the other one, "I don't know who you are. But if you're working with the Sith, you're the enemy."

"We're not your enemies," she replied. "We're your family."

Thorax frowned. "We might be the same species, but that doesn't make us family."

"No," Chrysalis told him, "we are your family. Thorax, I am your mother." This statement caused Thorax's body to go still, as he let the info sink it. "I thought Celestia was lying when she told me about you. But it seems she was telling the truth. The son I had lost is alive and is a Force Wielder, just like me."

Thorax stared at her, then slowly shifted his gaze to the other one. "Hello, brother. I'm Pharynx."

"This is a trick," Thorax told them. "You're just trying to get me to lower my guard."

"This isn't a trick," Chrysalis told him. "I am your mother. I thought you were dead, but you survived. And now, you can come home to be with the rest of the family."

"Family?" Thorax glared at her. "I don't know what you think a family is, but it's not a bunch of murderers attacking innocent people."

"Watch your tongue," Pharynx told him. "We fight to protect our race from extinction. If others have to die, so that we can live, then that's a price we're willing to pay.

"Maybe you're willing to pay it," Thorax stated. "But I'm not." He raised his saber towards her. "You call yourself my family, but the Jedi were the ones that raised me. Taught me what it meant to be a hero. You might be my blood, but I won't let you get away with hurting others anymore. This ends, now."

Chrysalis sighed. "You leave me no choice." She took out her Lightsaber and ignited it. "You can't win against me. My training far exceeds yours. I don't wish to hurt you, so surrender and come with me."

"Never."

"Then so be it." Chrysalis launched herself forward and Thorax realised he was about to be in for the fight of his life.

In another part of the city, Celestia was fighting her way through a giant horde of droids.

She flew through the battlefield, swinging her blade around with incredible skill and precision. The battle droids didn't know what hit them and the wasp droids that tried to shoot her, found themselves being crushed by an invisible force and falling to the ground.

There were several Jedi around her, but they weren't doing as well as she was. Several had been hit by the lasers and were falling to the ground, some alive but badly injured.

Celestia saw this and realised they needed to get the wounded to safety, the Grandmaster spinning in the air. As she did, some kind of wave flew out of her and swept across the battlefield. This wave hit the droids and threw them all backwards, away from the injured Jedi.

"We need to get them somewhere safe to heal them!" Fluttershy, First and several more Jedi Healers arrived on the scene, these Jedi focusing on being medics more than warriors at the moment.

Fluttershy lifted a Jedi onto her back and started running away, as First used The Force to lift another three injured Jedi and followed. The rest of the Healers managed to get the injured to safety, allowing the uninjured Jedi to once again focus on the fight.

Celestia sighed in relief, as she looked up to one of the destroyers that had appeared in the sky. As she stared at it, she sensed something coming from it. The Force was warning her about something. Whatever it was, she had to be careful. It was dangerous.

In another part of the city, another group of Jedi were fighting against the Battle Droids.

A few Masters, multiple Knights and a handful of Padawans, were cutting their way through the machines and allowing the citizens to escape somewhere safe. "Keep fighting," a master yelled. This one was a twelve foot alien with four arms, carrying a blue or green double-bladed Lightsaber in each one. "We don't stop until every civilian is safely evacuated!"

"YES, MASTER!" The Knights and Padawans cried, cutting through the machines.

"Don't break formation. Stay in pairs to be sure to watch each other's backs. Nobody's falling in this battle. Is that understood!" The Knights and Padawans repeated their previous answer, many staying back to back to keep themselves safe.

The four armed Jedi charged forward, spinning the double-edged sabers around with ease and slicing through the robots like they were made out of paper. And when a scorpion droid appeared around a corner, he leapt into the air before smashing down on top of it.

His weight was so great, the droid was crushed in half by the impact and exploded seconds after he leapt off.

"YEAH!" He cried, throwing two of his sabers towards a large group of droids. They turned into buzzsaws, which sliced through the machines before returning to him like boomerangs. He caught them without even looking, continuing to fight as he did. "What else you got? Is this really the best the Sith have to offer?"

The other Knights and Padawans smiled, feeling safe with him on their side. There was nothing the Sith could do to stop them now. They had made a big mistake, coming here."

Up on board the Sith's main destroyer, the fighter bay troopers were working on getting more ships ready to be sent into the fight.

One ship flew back through the entrance and was caught by the robotic arm, allowing it to be moved over to an area where it could be refuelled and given fresh ammunition. Within minutes, it was ready to be sent back out into the fight.

But as they worked, the doors opened up and someone stepped inside.

The bugs saw him and all stiffened before kneeling, as the figure walked towards the loading door. Once he stepped up to the force field, he waved his hand and flipped a switch to make it shut off. And before anyone could say anything else, the figure leaned forward and fell through the hole before the force field activated again.

The troopers were shocked by this and ran forwards, looking through the hole and seeing the most feared figure in the galaxy falling into a battle zone.

The figure continued to fall, not looking the least bit worried as a ship shot past him and he narrowly avoided going splat. And as he drew closer to the ground, he spotted a bunch of blue and green Lightsabers and smiled.

Back on the ground, the four armed Jedi fought with everything he had and wasn't breaking a sweat. He smirked, almost wishing there was a stronger opponent to face. And as he thought that, he suddenly sensed something and looked up.

As he did, a black cloud suddenly appeared in the sky.

That cloud floated there for a moment, as a Delta-X flew through it. When it did, the ship's systems appeared to go offline and it lost control before crashing into a nearby building. The other ships that saw this began to steer clear, as the cloud suddenly moved downwards and morphed into a thin stream of black vapour.

That stream flew down towards them and the Master called out for everyone to be on guard. The clouds hit the ground and exploded into a wave of shadow, that spread across the battle ground and surrounded the Jedi.

They all cried out, none of them able to see what the heck was happening. But they could feel an overwhelming sense of evil, the horrible sense of dread filling their very beings. "What's happening?" A Padawan asked, as the master tried to look through the darkness.

When he did, a pair of deep green and purple eyes could be seen. And slowly, a humanoid figure appeared within the shadows. Slowly, that figure stepped forward and revealed themselves.

Sombra stared at the Jedi, as his Lightsaber ignited and burned away the shadows he had appeared in. He was dressed in some form of battle armor, the metal covering him being almost pure black with red streaks painted onto it. A flowing red cape was tailing behind him and covering his head was a metal helmet, which had a bunch of metal arrows sticking out the top that formed a crown.

Only his eyes were visible, The helmet covering the rest of it with his mouth and nose having a guard over them with several holes on it.

The Jedi who saw him were absolutely terrified, with even the Master feeling like this was an opponent none of them could defeat. But a few of the Knights chose to charge forward. "Wait!" The Master yelled, but Sombra moved like the wind and flew towards them.

He effortlessly blocked one Knight's blade before lifting him up with The Force and thrusting his Lightsaber into him, the Knight gasping as he was stabbed in the chest. The other Knights ran forward, but Sombra threw the first one away and easily deflected their attacks.

One Knight lost his hand before being thrown over the edge of a platform, whilst another found his airway completely blocked. Sombra fought the others without releasing his hold on the Jedi's throat, the poor figure falling to the ground whilst Sombra dispatched the rest of the Knights.

Those that hadn't attempted to fight him, watched in horror as some of their best warriors were defeated without Sombra even trying. "Get out of here!" The Master yelled, as the Padawans and Knights turned to escape.

Sombra took out the last Knight and turned to see them running, whilst the four armed Jedi charged at him and roared. Sombra just smirked and ran forward, looking like he was ready to fight the Master. But as the four-armed alien swung his blades around, Sombra's body burst into shadows and he flew past him.

The Master coughed, as the smoke flew into his lungs and made him choke for a second.

The shadow chased after the retreating Jedi and landed in front of them, when he reformed and kept his Lightsaber ignited. The Jedi looked terrified, as he looked up at them and smiled. "Going somewhere?" As his body reformed, his hands began to spark with red lightning. "I don't think so."

They stepped backwards, but Sombra thrust his hand forward.

From it, bolts of red lightning exploded out of his hand and struck them. The Padawans and Knights all screamed, as their bodies were fried from the inside out. They tried to fight back, but the energy of the dark lightning was too much.

The Master could only watch in horror, as Sombra zapped them for almost a full minute. And when he finally stopped, the Jedi all fell to the ground with their skin burned to a crisp.

The sight of his order-mates in such a state, so many young promising Jedi just killed without a second thought, caused the four-armed alien to glare at Sombra and roar in rage. He charged, as Sombra smiled.

"Yes, give into your anger. Let it make you stronger." He blocked the Lightsaber blades that came his way, barely looking like he was trying. "But it won't make you strong enough to beat me." He ducked under one place and with a single slash, the weapon and the hand holding it was sent flying.

The Master roared in pain, as he staggered back and saw his severed limb. Sombra smiled as he jumped back, holding his Lightsaber in one hand whilst the other was held behind his back.

"Nothing will beat me. Not until I've completed my goal." The Master roared and charged against, Sombra swinging his blade around to meet his as the two clashed once again.

Sunset carefully made her way through the temple, being sure to avoid any of the temple guards and Jedi that were still there.

She made her way towards a section of the temple with minimal security, where she could sneak out of the building without anyone noticing. As she did, she continued to transmit her location to the main destroyer. Hopefully, it would allow them to find her once she was outside.

Arriving at a window, she looked out and saw that nobody was around.

She quickly opened it and snuck through, waiting with baited breath as she hid in the shadows of the building. But as she looked up towards the sky, she could hear movement and glanced around. Her heart stopped, when she spotted a temple guard approaching.

The guard was armed with a double-edged yellow blade, which it held at the ready in case anything happened.

The guard stepped into the area Sunset was waiting in and remained where he was, Sunset feeling worried she might be found or her delivery would be intercepted. She did her best not to move an inch, praying her location wouldn't be found.

The guard continued to stand watch there, as Sunset kept her attention on the sky. And as she did, she spotted something appearing in the air and approaching. And she wasn't the only one.

The guard spotted the approaching object and was about to report it to the rest of the guards, but Sunset acted quickly and used The Force to pull him backwards. The guard didn't know what had hit him, as he was pulled towards the wall and slammed into it hard.

He hit his head and went limp, as he fell to the ground and his Lightsaber fell out of his hand.

Sunset reached out and made sure he was unconscious. She removed the helmet and found the guard was actually a woman, the human female out cold and likely having a concussion.

Sunset also checked her Lightsaber, having been interested in its design ever since she first saw them. The double-ended hilts that had a hinge in the middle, allowing them to fold up. She admitted they looked cool, but didn't see the point of them.

She dropped the saber and looked up towards the sky, as a droid flew down carrying a large box. "Excellent." She reached out and took the box, the droid flying away as Sunset opened the box. Inside was everything she needed.

Staring down at it, Sunset realised she was about to return to who she was before coming to this place. If she did this, there would be no going back.

She almost felt hesitant. But she had to do this. She had been trained for this. Become the one that would destroy the Jedi. It wasn't like she could just forget who she truly was. If she betrayed her master, she knew he would tell the Jedi who she was. They would find out and turn against her.

"I have no future here." She reached in and took out her Lightsaber, along with a familiar mask she hadn't worn in a good while. Within minutes, she was once again dressed in her normal Sith clothes. Sunset Shimmer was dead. Solara was back and she would do whatever it took to get the key back. Even if it meant harming those that saw her as a friend.

Author's Note

The Battle of Canterlot has begun. This is certainly going to be an interesting situation, especially with Sombra on the battlefield. How will things turn out? Only time will tell.
