June 28-Guesspionage

The next morning, Apple Bloom is enjoying some pancakes Amy made. Amy sees something bothering her.

"What's the matter, Apple Bloom?" Amy asked. "Still upset about how you wound up here?"

"No." Apple Bloom replied. "This village is lots of fun. But, there's one game in Jackbox I'm weary of."

"Thinking of your family's reputation, I'm guessing it's any game of Fibbage."

"Yup. We Apples are known for our honesty. And since the Fibbage games are about deception, I'm scared to take part."

Kevin came in, hearing the conversation. "I understand. Fortunately, there is no Fibbage game in today's challenge."

This brought Apple Bloom some relief. After breakfast, she went online to check on the challenges of Jackbox Village. On her wall, is a map of the area. This way, she can keep track of which games are in which areas.

"Guesspionage, huh?" Apple Bloom said to herself. "That game is about info about what people do and know." She soon developed a smile. "This should be fun."

Later, the farm girl makes her way to an office building. After entering the building, she went up to a receptionist desk. A woman with curly brown hair and glasses was looking up something on her computer when she saw Apple Bloom.

"Can I help you, miss?" The secretary asked.

"I was told that this is where today's Jackbox challenge is held." Apple Bloom answered.

"Finally. An eighth player!"

She pushed a button on her desk, and Apple Bloom fell down a trap door. She slid into a basement where she saw an unusual sight. She saw a robot, an eagle, a dog, a dolphin in a tank, a hyper young man, a gentle red haired woman, and a person Apple Bloom didn't expect. "Rumble?"

It was indeed her friend Rumble. He was surprised to see her.

"Hey, Apple Bloom." Rumble said. "You come here for the Jackbox Challenge too, huh?"

"I guess so." Apple Bloom replied.

"Hello, everybody." The voice of a young man said. "Glad you can make it. There's a plethora of information about people all over the world. We use that information for all of you guys to play a game of GUESSPIONAGE!"

Every human was given tables to sit at. The animals wore special gear so they can understand human speech. The voice spoke to the hyper young man. "Your subject is: Drive in theaters. What percentage of people went to drive ins as a kid?"

The lad looked at his screen. He adjusted his screen so it says 35.

"Thirty five percent." The voice said. "Okay, the rest of you. Higher or lower? You can choose Much Higher or Much Lower to earn double points. Only if the answer is more than 15% than the player's answer."

The other players answered quickly. The voice spoke again. "And, the answer is," The dial went up to 31, "Thirty one percent."

The young man was happy as he is given 2,000 points. Then, the systems told that the robot, the dog, Apple Bloom, and the red haired woman answered lower. They were each given one thousand points.

"Lucky guess, AB." Rumble said.

"Sometimes you have to be lucky." Apple Bloom replied.

As the game was going on, many players were getting good guesses while others, not so much. During one round, the robot doubled down on a question. But, the answer wasn't below 15%. The voice spoke again. This time, it's for Apple Bloom.

"Your category is: Apples." The voice said. "What percentage of people eats Red Delicious Apples more than Golden Delicious?"

Apple Bloom adjusted her dial to 68.

"Sixty eight percent." The voice announced. "Okay, higher or lower?"

Rumble knows Apple Bloom well. He answered Higher. He knows that Doubling down is risky.

"Most are saying 'higher'." The voice said. "And, the answer is," the dial went to 70. "Seventy percent. Good guess."

Apple Bloom smiled as she receives twenty five hundred points. Rumble got one thousand points for saying higher. Everybody else said lower. Soon, the Final Round arrived. The voice spoke again. "I got a good one for you. What is your favorite Transformers Saga?"

Nine choices were shown. G1, Armada, Robots in Disguise, Energon, Prime, Beast Wars, Cybertron, Animated, and G2.

"Now, choose your three favorites." The voice said.

Everybody made their choices. Apple Bloom chose, from first to third, Prime, G1, and Cybertron. The results are in. Five percent chose G2 and Energon. Fifteen percent chose Armada and Robots in Disguise. Twenty percent chose Animated (worth 500), Twenty five percent chose G1, Beast Wars, and Cybertron (worth 1,500), and the remaining 35 percent chose Prime (worth 3,000). Seconds later, the final totals were present.

Apple Bloom was shocked that she won with a total of 9,500. Rumble was third with 6,500. He looked a little upset. "Dang! An eagle finished 500 points ahead of me."

At least Apple Bloom and Rumble were pleasantly surprised that the robot finished in last. As they left the office building, Apple Bloom and Rumble were impressed with their participation in this game.

"That was fun." Apple Bloom cheered. "Don't you think so?"

"It was quite interesting." Rumble replied. "This game is a lot different in real life than in the game."

"Just like everything else in this town."

Later, Apple Bloom slipped in her nightshirt when she heard an eerie male voice. "Ready for bed, kid?"

Shocked, she looked around. But, she doesn't see anybody. Then, she realized something.

"I think I know you." Apple Bloom said. "You're that Trivia Psycho from the Trivia Murder Party games!"

"Good guess. Maybe you can drop by the Murder Hotel one day."

"Or, that place where the original game took place."

"That's a good point. Time to go."

The feeling of dread soon vanished. Apple Bloom couldn't believe that a dark voice can visit her.

"I guess the games aren't over yet." Apple Bloom said as she climbs into bed.

The farm girl soon turned off the light and went to sleep, hoping to be ready for what's next.
