Author's Note

Somebody asked me if I would bring out a Bomb Corp chapter. Well, here it is.

July 26-Bomb Corp

Walking casually down the street, Apple Bloom walks past a tall building. There, somebody looks frustrated. Then, a girl pushed buttons on a panel, then it exploded on her. Not much, but she got rattled. Realizing the code, the man pushed the right buttons and the door opened. Apple Bloom was about to walk past the building when the young man called to her.

"Excuse me, miss." The man called.

Apple Bloom was a bit confused. "Were you calling me?"

"Yes, I am. My name is Peter. You seem to be a handy young lady."

"Well, I was pretty handy in my farmland home."

"We can use somebody like you for the day. Come with me."

Apple Bloom followed the young man into the building. It didn't look different from any office building she saw. Soon, Peter gave her an explanation. "I would like you to be our gopher for the day."

"Ya mean gopher this and gopher that?" Apple Bloom asked.

"That's right. But, while you're doing your job for the day, be careful. Things can get a little hectic."

Agreeing to Peter's request. Apple Bloom decides to help out. She called Kevin and Amy's house and let them know of this. They told her to be careful in that place. The farm girl wasn't sure about that statement. After giving a worker some important papers, Apple Bloom saw some people fiddling with creepy looking objects.

"This one is dismantled." Said the voice of an old man.

"I got this one turned off." Said a short black haired woman.

Suddenly, Apple Bloom realized where she was. "Oh my gosh! This building is the Bomb Corp!"

Soon, Peter showed up and replied to Apple Bloom's thought. "That's right. Every so often, bombs come along, and it's up to us to dismantle them before they blow up."

"Sure keeps you guys busy." Apple Bloom said.

"You bet. Maybe you might dismantle a bomb yourself."

Dismantle a bomb? Apple Bloom has done a lot of things in Jackbox Village so far. But, this could be very nerve racking. Later, the workers were in the break room. Apple Bloom was invited to join them.

"So," The old man wondered, "how's your experience working in the Bomb Corp?"

"It's quite interesting, I'll say that, Frank." Apple Bloom answered as she drinks some water. "Defusing many bombs must be stressful on you guys."

"It has it's scary moments."

A woman with long red hair finished that thought. "But, we always have ways so nothing goes BOOM."

This put the farm girl at ease. Minutes later, the workers are back to turn off bombs. Apple Bloom was given a chance to defuse a bomb herself. There are four wires. Black, red, yellow, and blue. Keeping a cool head. She cut the red wire, then blue, then black, and finally, yellow. Everybody cheered for her success. They were impressed that a newbie defused her first bomb.

Just then, a green alien girl barged in panicking. Her belly is big, meaning she's pregnant. "Help. Help! I feel like my baby is going to be born!"

This panicked everyone. Peter came in, and see the situation. "Okay, people. Let's help her out! Peter, get some hot water and a blanket. Teresa, you and Apple Bloom comfort her!"

Soon, the workers started helping this girl. Apple Bloom started to rub her tentacles gently. "We'll help you through this."

"Thank you." The alien replied. "Please, call me Jade."

Twenty minutes, the baby was born. Everybody was pleasantly surprised. Soon, a doctor took Jade and her baby to the hospital to have checked out.

"Congratulations, everybody." Peter announced. "The doctors will make sure Jade and her baby will be safe. We better hustle in case more bombs come along."

The day continues as Apple Bloom helps with file work. She puts files in alphabetical order and puts it in the cabinet. Peter checks on her. "How's everything so far?"

"So far, so good." Apple Bloom answered. "That alien baby birth is somethin' out of Men In Black."

"I hear that. That's something you don't see everyday."

Suddenly, a strange looking robot shows up. Peter and Apple Bloom got shocked to see this thing.

"What is this?" Apple Bloom wondered.

Then the robot speaks. "I am from the future. I detected an alien birth from this building."

"That was a beautiful moment." Peter praised.

"Not to me! I have come from the future to exterminate the alien and her baby. Where are they?"

"WHAT?" Apple Bloom gasped. "Kill a mother and her baby? That's so wrong. Besides, they are not here."

The robot soon got angry. "You are lying! The aliens are in this building! Tell me where they are, or I'll destroy this building to find them!"

Apple Bloom looks at this robot strangely. "This little critter looks like an old vacuum cleaner without the attachments."

Suddenly, it opened up to reveal a bomb. The personal got scared. Working together, Peter and Apple Bloom clipped the right wires to defuse the bomb. The crowd cheered for the victors. Soon, a girl with black hair in pigtails adjusted her glasses and sees this thing. "Interesting looking machine."

The little robot soon glowed with dark energy. "NO! My explosives are deactivated. How will I find and destroy those aliens now?"

"You won't!" This girl said. She soon plugs a wire into the robot. The other end is plugged to a laptop she carries. "With proper reprogramming, you will be OUR robot."

Later, it came to 5 'o clock. And Peter thanked Apple Bloom for helping for the day. She was given thirty dollars for her assistance, and she went out of the building and headed for home. Later, Apple Bloom was on the phone with Jade, the alien girl from earlier.

"I want to thank you, Apple Bloom.” Jade said happily. "The doctor said that me and my baby can go home tomorrow."

"You're welcome, Jade." Apple Bloom replied. "I hope that baby will grow up nice and healthy."

"She will. I'll see to that. Bye."

After hanging up, Apple Bloom rested from her adventure with the Bomb Corp.
